Background
Ieyasu started out as a sushi chef who would moonlight as a sumo wrestler, putting the extra funds towards helping his restaurant and his family. Due to his great size and strength, he quickly became a yokozuna. However, he would retire some time afterwards, feeling there was no challenge left for him. But when a wrestling scout who was also a fan approached him and offered him a spot in pro wrestling, he quickly accepted the offer. With the desire to continue fighting burning inside him, and with the idea of facing new challengers enticing him, Ieyasu was looking forward to it.
