Victory Condition: K.O, Submission, Pinfall
Like many times before, the Divine Stars were in their locker room. They had spent so much time here that it had, in a way, started to become a second home. They had started to decorate it with their own personal items, as well as some equipment to do a bit of work online, be it social media, contacting people or other official business that could be done online.
But online could only do so much; in the end, they were here to do one thing: get on the stage and dominate! After all, the changing room was meant to get them ready to do so. Kate and Nate had already gotten into their uniforms and were doing the last bit of stretching and final checks to make sure they were ready.
With everything set and prepared, the two would nod, make their exit and as they began to go down the hallway. As they did, Kate would talk to all sorts of staff members, the people who ran LAW behind the curtains. She had gotten on good terms with them. Nate usually ignored them, but a few of them had gotten on good terms with him, and he would make a bit of small talk with his close circle of friends. However, these conversations had to be kept short, as they were on a time limit and had a match to get to.
The duo would eventually reach the staging area. They could hear the crowd talking, all sorts of voices and excited fans. The Divine Stars would get into position and then wait for their signal to make their entrance.
Outside, not only was the audience talking, but so was the commentary team, discussing the previous match, as well as some ad music in the background. Lights were flashing everywhere, be it phones, stage lights, the Jumbotron, or other devices. Then, without warning, everything went dark. The commentary team's mic went dead; it was as if someone had cut off all the power in the stadium.
A moment would pass, and then two spotlights pointed to a single spot on the ramp, revealing two silhouette figures. The Divine Stars theme would begin to play as the two Divine Wrestlers held their position for a moment. The crowd would cheer at the sight. After a moment passed, the duo would break from their frozen position and begin to make their way down the ramp, the two spotlights following them, acting as the only light source in the entire stadium.
“Making their way down to the ring at a combined weight of 296 pounds are Nate and Kate of the Divine Stars!” said the announcer, heralding the arrival of the divine tag team.
The two would eventually reach the ringside and, in unison, would climb up the steps before getting on top of the apron. The two would then split off from each other, each one going to the opposite turnbuckle. The Divine Stars would scale their respective turnbuckle, ascending to the top of it before posing and basking in the audience's roar and applause.
Kate and Nate would maintain this position for a few seconds before they leapt off the corner and descended into the ring. It was as if they were coming down from a higher plain of existence, refusing to enter by going in between the ropes or even jumping over them; no, that barrier was for mortals and regular wrestlers, they were on a whole other level. The duo would then converge on their corner and await their opponents.
