Ivan's expression twisted into something like annoyance as Kim refused to stay down. When she charged again, he braced himself, planting his feet firmly on the canvas. This time, instead of trying to dodge entirely, he angled his body, turning sideways.

Ivan felt the punch connect solidly with his chest—a solid blow that would've made most men stumble. But his core remained rigid, unyielding. He barely staggered, merely tensing further to absorb the impact.

"Mm." A low grunt was all he gave, his jaw clenching as he maintained his iron grip on Kim's shoulders. If anything, the punch seemed to fuel his determination rather than weaken it.
