She did not care for it at first and left for a few years to pursue other endeavors, but eventually, a relationship with another wrestler that lasted for some years brought her back to the ring. Their tag team made it click, and while the relationship ended due to different ambitions, Aurelia stuck with the sport.

At thirty-four, another knee injury in a rainy Hamburg tournament nearly forced her into retirement. Refusing to leave the industry, Aurelia spent a year recovering in a secluded wellness retreat, obsessively studying how to overcome such an injury. She realized she no longer needed to be faster or stronger than the young lions; she just needed to be heavier. She reinvented herself as "The Gilded Queen," a style built entirely on her new limitations. She returned to the ring not as a fighter, but as a sovereign who refused to be moved, turning her matches into agonizing lessons in claustrophobia for her opponents.

As she toured the world with this new style, Aurelia developed her reputation as the locker room's "Mother Hen."
