Carina of House Ricci couldn't believe this as she was lead through a massive camp by two armored women, wielding spears and shields. The kingdom of was in chaos, her people scattered to the winds and she herself captured. The Gods had played a cruel fate indeed for them all. The princess turned captive could only shake her head in disgust and shame. Telmar, the homeland she loved, was tearing itself apart while suffering an invasion from the south by the fierce and ruthless Amazon army.

If only her father, King Zaris had not died so soon in bed, he would've prevented all of this.

Instead, Carina had to watch ambitious fools like her siblings fight amongest themselves for the throne, leaving their nation open for outsiders to take advantage of. Carina cursed them all sliently when she was escorted into a blue tent. She was twenty-two years of age, standing at five feet and six inches tall and wearing a ruined purple cloak. Her skin was tannish like most of the Telmarian people, with blue eyes and short blond hair. The torn cloak she wore only slightly hide her healthy and attractive figure when brought inside.

There in the center, Carina spotted the Amazon warlord, Diara herself. She was a dark-skinned elven woman with sliver short cropped hair, wearing brown leather armor, sited upon an wooden, surrounded by dozens of officers and bodyguards in similar grab. With a grunt, Carina was forced to her knees by the soldiers, in front of Diara who looked on with curiosity before saying.

"So you're the little Telmarian princess I heard much abou. I been looking forward to this meeting."

"The feeling is not mutual, invader. Leave our lands now, so you won't suffer for this trespass."Carina fired back, staring at the warlord in great defiance. She stood up, in further rebellion, causing the guards to knock her back down from behind. Clenching teeth, Carina forced herself to the feet level again, surprising most in the tent. Warlord Diara laughed, clearly amused with the captive's insolence and stopped the guards from striking her again with a raised hand.

"My, my this girl shows more courage than her own countrymen have done in battle so far. What do you think of this one, my dear?"

Said the warlord, turning toward one of her warriors at her right hand.

Cassandra was watching what was happening from the sidelines as she was wondering what the other person would look like.As all the brunette knew was the fact that the warlord she served was going to meet some princess.Beyond that the young woman knew nothing as she got the order to bring some water and bread inside the room just as this person insulted her leader. Now this was something she could not allow to happen as while Diara may have stopped the guards from attacking her she however was not as she threw the pitcher in the Telmarian princess face as she yelled ''show my lady some respect or else I make you''

The pitcher struck true, hitting the former royal’s face. Carina’s head jerk and she cried out from the blow. Instantly pain gave way to anger the girl tried to spring up to attack Cassandra but was held back by the guards. “I owe nothing to the likes of you thieving whore!” Carina screamed with fury and spit in front of brunette’s feet. The Amazon warlord looked on with amusement and let out a cackle.

“It seems you both want to tear into each other. Very well then I will allow it.”Diara remarked before pointing at a square shaped platform with four poles tied together by three pairs of rope.“I sentence the captive to a trial by combat against Cassandra Bolik. May fate decreed the victor!”

The other Amazons cheer in respond at their leader’s words. Suddenly two guards stripped Carina out of her ruined clothes and escorted the now exposed princess toward the ring. Carina at first struggle but then complied and rolled inside, positioning at a corner. Diara then gestured for Cassandra to strip and head for the ring commenting.“Your drinks will be free for the whole week if you teach our new ‘guest’ some manners.”

As the pitcher hit the other woman in the face , and break causing the water that was contained within to fall all over the former royal's face it brought an smile to the servant's face. As she would turn around as she suddenly heard Carina scream in anger , but rather then land an attack the brunette was relieved to find the guards would stop her.

Thinking that was it the servant girl was about to keep walking only to hear the queen say that she and Carina were to have a trail of combat as the other woman was stripped naked.Thinking it was an hoke at first Cassandra was about to leave when Diara would gesture for her to strip as she did so reluctantly as she replied back ''wait is this a trail to submission as I don't have the heart of a true warrior for it to be a trail to the death my queen''.

The amazon queen grinned.“Of course it will be submission Cassandra. Now get in the ring and humble that little upstart.” Meanwhile Carina stayed in her corner, focus completely centered on the brown haired servant. Her intenations were prefectly clear to everyone present.

Hearing her queen confirm it will be to submission caused the brunette to relax.As she would then make her way to the ring as she stepped inside as she yelled ''ready to pay for not showing my queen the respect she deserved princess'' in an arrogant tone as she waits for the contest to start

“Plagues take you harlot.”Carina replied, getting into a fighting stance, legs out spread and fists raised to shoulder. Despite being a former royal, Ricci was trained in combat. Outside the amazon queen spare to each fighter then raising her right hand she gestured with a shout.“Begin!”

Without further delay Carina sprang out of her corner. Immediately she charged Cassandra, attempting to hit in the face with a left hand jab, followed by a right kick aimed toward the servant’s shin.

''Go to the depths of Hades you whore''replied the brunette back as she would follow the princess's lead , and assume a fighting stance of her own. Her legs spread out , and her hands would be raised to protect her face as she doubted the royal would have much training in combat.When her queen would gesture for the battle to begin the brunette would leap forward as she went for a haymaker towards Carina's face only to be hit in the face first with that left hand jab.The kick that followed would however be easily avoided as she leaped to the right.

Carina jumped back as well, smiling that she struck the first blow, though the follow up kick failed. Despite being a prisoner the princess was glad for the chance to beat one of the Amazons. I intend not to waste it. A moment later Carina would feign with the left hand only attempt another punch with the other fist, aimed toward Cassandra’s stomach.

After being hit with that punch the brunette had leaped to the right to avoid the follow up kick that the princess send her way.''I can't let myself be dominated by this princess''thought Cassandra as she would see Carina come towards her as she strikes back with an kick to her opponent's side.
