Personality: Itsuko is incredibly humble and modest. While not quite introverted, Itsuko doesn't exactly ooze confidence. But she makes up for that with an endearing sincerity and naivety behind every word that Itsuko says. Even against opponents that have bothered her in some way, Itsuko will simply let her fists do the talking and show respect after the fight. History: Growing up without a father due yo his death when she was just a toddler, Itsuko spent the bulk of her life helping her mother with their family owned fishing boat business. As a result, Itsuko never dedicated any time to socialising, going through middle school and high school without any friends or hobbies of her own. Being small in stature and lacking in any street smarts, Itsuko found herself the target of delinquent girls. Bullied and lacking in any confidence, everything changed one day when one Aoi Misumi happened upon Itsuko while she was being beaten. Aoi fended off her bullies and took Itsuko to Mendez's boxing gym, where she was told to vent her frustration on the sandbag. It was then that Itsuko's killer punch was discovered, and a love for boxing began to grow within the bullied girl. Though, Aoi was initially dismissive, she gave Itsuko the opportunity to prove herself and show what she had to the gym owner, Victoria. After a sparring match with the gym's very own Kyoka, Itsuko had found her place. After a year and a half as a boxer, Itsuko's career was going well. It seemed obvious that Fierce Fists Itsuko would aim for the featherweight championship, but instead, Victoria recommended something else. Showing Itsuko some matches from LAW, the former heavyweight champion told her pupil that if she wanted to feel strong, then she should grow as a fighter overall, and test herself at every turn. While she had grown a love for boxing, Itsuko wanted nothing more than to be strong for the first time in her life. So at the advice of Victoria, Itsuko began to learn some wrestling, though, boxing remained her fundamentals. When she was ready, Itsuko found her place in LAW as a part-timer, ready to find the meaning of strength and claim the openweight championship!
