The World of Pro-Wrestling - Act 2

[APlaying]

The first day of the year, a chance to rest, reflect, and make plans for the future. It can also be a time to gather with loved ones and celebrate. It's also the first day of the year that Snow isn't at her parents' house, as she'd be spending the night at Svetlana's.

It felt quite strange, but she had a pretty good time. "Uhh..." Snow yawned, her head feeling dizzy, her mind completely foggy, as if she couldn't process a single thought. She woke up not knowing exactly where she was, but she was comfortable hugging something comforting... "Huh?" Snow opened her eyes and realized she was hugging Svetlana by the hips, which meant they slept together.

The actress quickly got out of bed, as if the shock had returned her to her senses. She looked around for her phone, slid her hands over the sheets until she felt something strange behind her shoulders. It was her phone, and when she turned it on, she found several unread messages. "...Oh no." At that moment, she remembered, she was getting late for the gym!

Snow quickly jumped out of the covers and began poking Svetlana's face with the tip of her index finger.

Svetlana was out in dreamland when she woke feeling herself being poked. "What the hell?!" Svetlana said less than happy about the method of her wakeup. "What got into you and did we fall asleep watching TV?" Svetlana said as she was trying to put things together.

"We need to get ready we....." Svetlana then saw the time. She was normally the type to be early for things so a feeling of dread hit her as the last thing she wanted was to be late. "LETS GO!"

Svetlana began rushing about moving and grabbing things as she was getting ready to leave each movement geared at grabbing things for her gym bag or getting herself dressed.

Snow watched curiously as Svetlana jumped out of bed, her eyes already wide awake. "Yeah! And Late At Night!" Snow complained. She had a lot planned for the day: an intense workout, lunch, and maybe some shopping afterward. Everything would be better if today didn't end up being such a drag. Svetlana's urgency was tempting; Snow liked everything to go smoothly so they could truly enjoy a good day. "Hey, wait!" Snow yawned, accidentally falling flat on her face in her haste.

Meanwhile, Garlim was opening her gym. Truthfully, she was hoping she wouldn't have to deal with potential kidnappers today, just as the new year was starting. Although the LAW verification site is an official part of the circuit, she wasn't entirely convinced.

After a couple of hours, the girls still hadn't arrived. Something that, for some strange reason, made her feel uncomfortable, as she had reserved the gym just for them today. But it wasn't being alone that bothered her.

What was strange was that she felt uncomfortable about being alone! After spending so much time training alone at the gym, it seemed like her constant activity had increased since her popularity had taken off. It seemed she was now used to dealing with people more frequently, which was funny. "Huh, should I call them?" she asked herself.

Svetlana was ready quickly and out in her car waiting for Snow. Svetlana waited and once she got into her car she began to drive heading towards the gym. "Way to be a professional." Svetlana mumbled to herself, upset that she was late. She was never late. She knew it was going to be rough since she was trying to prove she was serious about wrestling. They were going to have it taken out on them, she knew it. "I am trying to make a good name for myself and what do I do? This is bad and we owe them a huge apology." Svetlana said this time to Snow as the two were driving to the gym close to arriving as Svetlana was doing all she could to make good time on the road.

Snow put some cream on her face to soothe the bruise she'd sustained; there was barely enough time to get ready. But the gym had a locker room with its own bathroom, so both girls could squeeze in there if they had some time.

Snow only put on casual clothes and packed her workout clothes and lunch before getting in the car. "Apologizing is the last thing on my mind right now. I'm ready for anything," Snow replied confidently. "Don't worry about being late, we'll figure it out." She smiled mischievously, eager to show off her wrestling skills.

Snow stretched her arms above her head, feeling the muscles in her shoulders and arms flex and contract. "Though the only thing I'm worried about is... We might have a match with wrestlers, who might just want to use us as punching bags. I think that happens a lot," she said, based on her personal experience.

Svetlana was a bit more prepared than Snow was as she had her actual wrestling attire packed into her gym bag. Svetlana had worn it fairly regularly for workouts as she would do a mix of in-ring work and lifting in the same trip to the gym. She changed quickly and listened to Snow speak. "I never thought of being a punching bag and I am worried about being late. It is disrespectful to the women who agreed to help us train. It isn't right for us to be late." She said. She never thought of anyone signing up to treat them like punching bags. That idea just seemed outlandish to her. Svetlana was trying to make a good name for herself both inside as well as outside the ring. She would rather be known as a hard worker who was trying to improve herself than a slacker. Today Svetlana was wearing a purple sports bra, purple briefs with white kneepads and boots as she changed ready to go and do whatever it took in the gym today.

After a while of driving, Svetlana and Snow had arrived at the gym. The actress gathered her things before getting out of the car. "I hope you didn't arrive before us," Snow said, not so much because she was embarrassed to show up under these circumstances. But rather because she didn't want to see Svetlana embarrassed for being a little late, although they arrived right on time, so there wouldn't be too many problems.

Snow walked into the gym and looked around, and just as Garlim had assured her, today they would have the gym all to themselves.

Garlim, who was sitting on one of the machines, saw both girls walk by, which made her sigh. She really hadn't expected them to arrive so punctually. "Wow, I've almost put down roots. What a great New Year's Eve!" Garlim said, trying to get the girls' attention.

Snow stuck her tongue out at the blonde goddess as she approached her. "Hey Garlim, Happy New Year! You know, I got really drunk before I came," she said, laughing. "I really appreciate you doing me the favor of reserving our spot."

Garlim nodded. "So..." Garlim approached Svetlana to size her up. "You're Svetlana Zynski, aren't you? It's a pleasure. My name is Garlim Ivanna." The blonde goddess extended her hand to the Polish woman to shake her hand. "Snow often jokes about how nerdy you are, even though you actually seem to be in pretty good shape." She compliment.

The Polish grappler walked out into the arena in her wrestling gear ready to do anything for training. As Garlim spoke and caught her attention Svetlana was immediately aware of how imposing this mountain of a woman was. "Ah, yes well..." Svetlana said shooting a bit of a sideways glance at Snow. "I have my hobbies but I want to be taken seriously in the ring as a wrestler. I am here to prove that I am not just some little streamer girl or a fake. I want to wrestle, win and do so cleanly with skill not cheap tricks." Svetlana said as she shook Garlim's hand. "I want to thank you for training us well, I know you are busy with your own training so we are extra thankful for you taking time away from that for us."

As Svetlana stood in front of Garlim, the blonde goddess assessed her physical build as she said that. Inwardly, she noted with a mixture of interest and curiosity how tall and powerful she looked despite being a geek. Though she was still considerably smaller and lighter than Garlim, those solid-looking trapezius muscles suggested a strength far greater than a typical streamer or fighter might possess. “Heh, are you seriously worried about not being taken seriously? I could end up badly if we collide unexpectedly.” Joked the blonde goddess. “So we'd better keep it friendly, as the day has potential for a useful spar regardless of those fleeting thoughts of worry.” She said before releasing Svetlana's hands. “Alright, no games, you have a full day to train. The girls will be here shortly, so I want to see them ready. If any problems arise, don't hesitate to call me.” She clarified before approaching the subway to grab the tape.

“And since you're here, Svetlana.” Garlim began to prepare the typical protocol for registration. “Snow has also covered your annual membership fee to my gym, which totals $1300. So you can practically come train here whenever you want, and I'm sure you'll be disciplined and not turn the place into your domination club.” Garlim hints as she glances sideways at Snow who was about to change into the locker room. The actress looked back at her somewhat nervously.

Garlim sighed before continuing with the protocol. “Then, I'll just need to take your measurements and your signature to proceed.”

Svetlana listened and was soon in shock hearing that Snow paid for her membership here. "You didn't have to do that it is too much!" Svetlana said not knowing how to react. "I will pay you back I swear! I can't just take the handouts like this but... thank you. I will pay you back!" Svetlana said again. She was beyond happy but also felt bad. Did she come across so badly like she needed this much help? She was going to push those feelings aside for now though as she focused on what Garlim was saying.

"Yes, you can get my measurements." Svetlana said ready to step onto a scale to determine her height and weight while also expecting something to measure her body fat percentage. All this would be useful for Garlim as well as for Svetlana herself. However she was curious as to who else was showing up to help train them, Garlim did mention others coming...
