Roxanne McAllister has always had a love for wrestling for as long as she could remember, sitting down in front of the TV every night to watch whatever she could find. Every punch, every suplex, every ring of that iconic bell only fed her love for the business more and more, so there wasn't much of a shock that she went on the path to achieve her dream of standing on the biggest stage of them all with a big gold belt over her shoulder.
She put all her time into training, joining any sport she could in order to keep pushing her body to the point of breaking (which happened quite often), but this obsession led to her grades dropping, not to the point of failing, but certainly enough to anger her parents who at first supported this silly dream of hers, but with the multiple injuries, the declining grades and their struggle to pay the bills, they gave her an ultimatum, drop the dream or leave the house...
And so, Roxie was on the road.
Roxie left her hometown with barely any money to her name, finding a job at a small gym that didn't pay much, but it let her continue to train, it let her study the wrestlers who came in and out of the ropes, it let her afford gas for her shithole car that doubled as her apartment, it was tough, but Roxie knew it was for her dream!
At the age of 24, Roxie had her first match in a tiny indie show, it paid pennies and had nearly no one watching, but Roxie couldn't care less as she was finally on the cusp of breaking into the big leagues. She continued to go to every damn indie show she could reach with the little money she got and made her name known, Roxie McAllister, the newest star in the indies that spread like a wildfire until she wrestled in the right place at the right time, all the pain, the trials, the suffering she went through was for the day that she wrestled in front of a promoter for a little show called LAW...
