Background:
Born to an alcoholic father and having her mother sent to prison for life only a few months after her birth, Holly never had the great childhood many others would have. She was born in the trailer park and her father always pawned her off to her grandparents to take care of her as he was often neglectful and couldn’t handle when Holly cried at night. Holly grew up in a more stable neighborhood around her grandmother and grandfather as the visits from her dad became less frequent. He worked as a mailman, but that wouldn’t be enough to supply much money to take care of Holly and without much restrictions keeping her father attached to her, her father soon married a stripper and moved to Washington abandoning her. Holly would develop anger issues early on and was expelled from three schools once she got to middle school. Holly loved to steal things from her teachers and loved picking fights with kids that were weaker than her. She was the top bully and carried that reputation where she went.
The one person that always put her in her place was her grandfather and her grandfather always put a stop to her antics before she got bad. Her grandfather served in the U.S. Army where he got a disciplined, strict, and no-nonsense attitude from which made Holly quickly learn that she wouldn’t get much by him. Even if Holly continued her antics throughout high school, her grandfather encouraged her to study well and do good for herself. Holly got mostly Bs and Cs which meant she was making progress, but college was never going to be a future plan for her. Her grandfather introduced her to motorcycles and mechanics which fascinated Holly effectively turning her into a tomboy. She always got a new tattoo seemingly every few months and wore a lot more leather developing more of a mind set her grandfather had.
Her grandfather passed away when she was 23 and this hurt her greatly, but she put it in her mind that her grandfather wouldn’t want her worrying about him. He would say he is dead and there’s not much else to do. Live life and live greatly as he always said. Holly moved into her own apartment at 24 and worked at a bike shop where it was mostly a male environment. She got catcalled a few times, but one beating later put it in brains that she wasn’t a sex toy for men and she wasn’t going to be treated less than anyone. Holly worked well with customers and displayed a great knowledge of mechanics that impressed the guys. She found it a little insulting thinking they were making fun of her for being smart, but they always assured her they found her intelligence beneficial (even if it talked them out of a beating).
When Holly was 26, she fixed the bike of a boxing coach and he admired her stature and physique which instantly put Holly off. Holly told him off for flirting with her, but after explaining his job title, Holly got interested in potentially pursuing boxing. After six months of training, Holly stepped foot in a local bar and one after the other began taking fights on many circuits. Holly went undefeated for 20 consecutive matches until her first rival known as Kuckles Nadine beat her to a TKO in her 21st bout. They had five more matches with Nadine winning 4-2 which blew Holly’s ego a little bit. She didn’t take kindly to being seen as weaker to someone so always got more aggressive in her matches. Holly gained a second rival in Janet Bridges-Madison as they usually fought on cruise ships and Holly usually won her matches against the fashion designer. Holly won many championships in local indie leagues and still takes fights for major promotions preferring to freelance in her career.
Her current record is 67 wins, 13 losses, and 5 draws. Getting attention from LAW scouts, she now heads to Japan in order to become a coach for the wrestling promotion and it just means more challenges for Holly to test herself.
Personality:
Holly is the woman you don’t bring home to your parents. She’s a leather loving, hog riding, violent seeking, unapologetic speaking, bad bitch. Maybe great for a few hook ups and bar dates, but Holly just flows her own way due to how her grandfather raised her. Being a bit more middle-aged has made her more mature, but she’s not one to be talked down to and can step right up to someone wanting to be a bully to her or others. Holly’s fighting spirit is shown upfront and she’s not afraid to tell the unwanted truth on many matters.
What Holly Offers:
For Holly, you have to be worth her time to receive her instruction. She has a zero tolerance policy for slackers and will whip students into shape to get them on the right track. Holly teaches her students to tap into their inner aggression and tells them to learn to control it. It helps with determination and learning to corner opponents trying to get them to mess up. She truly believes being a little intimidating goes a long way, because the psychology of it always helps one control the fight from the very first round. Also, the standard striking and countering are taught with Holly as well.
