Diary Entry (READ ME)

Good morning, it's the crack of dawn here in the land of the rising sun and I just finished watching the BEAUTIFUL sunrise creep up over the horizon. It looked like something straight out of a movie, Diary. I wanted to take photos but I was ... -like- ... SOOOO captivated by the beautiful glowing blends of orange and red lighting up the dark midnight-blue skylines of the bustling city streets with all those cars whizzing by with streaks of neon-like lights following behind.

Woah, not to get all poetic and stuff, Diary-...although maybe I should do this more often, that sounded pretty good to me! Note to self: Poetry hobby?

Anyway, I woke up early today to get a head start on my training. Today I'm gonna be testing the facilities at the official LAW-owned gym complex. Hopefully, the results turn out to be fruitful!

Ami would enter the LAW-owned gym one early Friday morning, looking to find a proper place for her to train in. There were a good number of gyms in Tokyo and other surrounding areas, but of course, LAW had a training facility of its own design. However, Ami was unsure if she wanted to hang around the place where she worked so often. While she adored the company and was thoroughly enjoying her time spent here thus far, she wasn't enthusiastic about always being near it. Still, there were some benefits to working out here. The building hosted top-of-the-line equipment, practice mats, cages, and rings, hired some of the best instructors around for class sessions, and there was always the chance to meet fellow wrestlers on the roster and make new friends. Additionally, two of the biggest perks were that this place was always open for the most part, on top of not requiring any fees or memberships for roster members.

When Ami finished checking the place out, she carried her gym bag to the back and stepped into a changing room. From there, she would undress and take a cold shower, freshening up for the training session ahead of her. After briefly washing up, the brunette was ready to rock! She sorted through her bag while drying off, taking out her training gear and slipping into it. She sported a white, skin-tight leotard with pink, sparkly detailing paired with matching white boots and a pair of wristbands, kneepads, and tight, dark-colored knee socks underneath. Ami looked stylish and sexy as she posed in the mirror, flaunting her figure and taking a few photos of herself before stepping out with her bag in tow, looking to run a few drills on her own to warm up and get the blood pumping in her body.

With a bright, eager smile, Ami got to running a couple of laps on the treadmill, doing some basic aerobic exercises, and stretching her limbs to loosen herself up. The main thing Ami was looking to work on was her stamina. Her experience in kickboxing back in high school gave her a good sense of conditioning and endurance, but she knew by now that professional wrestling was a much different beast, so she had to be well-equipped to handle the most intensive of matches going forward. Otherwise, her body might give out on her in the middle of a match. It didn't matter how fast or strong she got if she couldn't keep a steady pace, so Ami would aim to improve her conditioning and cardio, maintaining a steady focus on getting her stamina up as she cheerfully worked out. Eventually, she wanted to partake in a sparring match of sorts, but with it being so early in the morning, there likely wouldn't be anyone else hanging around for the time being...or so the Prima Donna Darling thought-...

Work outs were necessary for a wrestler, as a former champion, Hiyori knew this quite well. However, the flirting and leering from everyone in the gym got pretty old, even for someone who craved attention and spotlight like the jackpot cutie, it was a bit much. So, Hiyori tended to hit the gym pretty early in the morning, expecting to dodge all the horny gym-goers who would turn up later on.

For about 30 minutes, Hiri thought she had the gym completely to herself, but across the room she spotted a new girl. Oh, well, should be easy enough to avoid her. Hiyori managed that until she spied Ami by the treadmill. Truth be told, running was probably Hiyori's least favourite excercise, but the jackpot cutie was keenly aware that she was a bit on the...thicker side, when compared to her fellow shorties such as Yozakura. So, Hiri sighed and approached the treadmill, standing beside Ami.

Realising that this was gonna be super awkward if she just ran and didn't say anything to the Prima Donna Darling, Hiyori rolled her eyes for a second. "Ahem...heeeyyy. I'm Hiyori! Been here for a while and never seen you before. What's your name?" The shortstack introduced, breasts bouncing as she jogged.

Ami looked up to see a new face in front of her. Although, wouldn't being the 'new girl in town' make every face you see a new face? Food for thought, but not for now. The brunette was already getting lost in her seemingly ceaseless trail of thought, taking a moment to register that someone was actively speaking to her and introducing themselves to her nonetheless. How very kind! Ami's eyes widened as she focused, stammering a bit at first before properly introducing herself to this friendly face. "Oh! Ami, Ami Anderson-...pleased to meet you~." She replied. "And you'd be correct! I'm new here. Just signed on a little over a month ago. I was just checking this place out and looking to get an early workout in. I figured it'd be best to get it out of the way before everyone else piles in...s-seems like we both had the same idea, huh?" She said, laughing softly.

Beads of sweat formed on Hiyori's forehead as she continued her jog on the treadmill, staring at Ami as she awaited a reply. The girl running parallel to the shortstack appeared to be friendly in her words, albeit a little nervous. Still, Hiyori gave a reassuring smile back to her fellow gym goer. "Yyyyyyuuuup! I know from experience it's better to get in early. You had the right idea."

Ami's eyes softened as she began to feel a little more comfortable. Hiyori's pleasant attitude was certainly inviting, and it helped that she seemed to be a lightweight as well. If Ami had bumped into anyone bigger and scarier, she might've just kept to herself, but this gal seemed relatively nice. "Oh, yeah, thanks-...guess I've got a good idea for my routine going forward then." She said. "Well, I'd hate to disturb you on your workout, so I'll just-...." She paused, she was about to turn away and go off on her own, but she stopped herself. She took a deep breath and mulled things over, deciding to take a chance. "Uh-...actually, if you don't mind...would you wanna maybe train together?" She asked, hopeful of Hiyori's response.

Giving off an inviting aura of friendliness, Hiyori successfully made the acquaintance of another person, breaking the ice between them. It seemed Ami was content to continue working out on her own, leaving Hiri to her devices. The shortstack was just fine with that, but she perked up at the suggestion of a sparring match! "Ooooo. A spar, you say? Well, you must have remarkable intuition, because you're looking at a former lightweight champion!"

"Oh? Really?!" Ami responded excitedly, her eyes widening with surprise and intrigue. "That's so cool!!! You must've been living the dream!!! What was it like? How long was your reign? What was your favorite title defense?" She said, listing off questions like a machine gun, firing off at a rapid pace as she couldn't contain her newfound enthusiastic interest in the dark-haired, pink-clad woman.

Hearing that Ami was clearly excited by her minor league title reign, Hiyori smiled and gestured to herself as if to encourage further compliments. Enjoying the lavishing of praise, Hiyori lazily examined her nails as she answered, wanting to appear as though it was boring to excite people with her presence. "It was fun to reign over a devision. It lasted about a year and a half before I returned the belt. Favourite title defence? Don't have one. They were all too easy for me to remember." Punctuating her answers with an exaggerated yawn, Hiyori felt satisfied getting to feed her ego. "Annnnyyyways, let's get sparring, girl."

Hiyori's passion and confidence left Ami in awe. The Prima Donna Darling smiled with glee, captivated by the magnitude of her newfound acquaintance's personality. The dark-haired gal resembled everything Ami wanted to be in the future. Strong, capable, accomplished, and assertive...but always looking to improve! With that said, it seemed like Hiyori was just as eager as Ami was to get down to business. "Yeah, let's get started!" She responded, gesturing to one of the many open rings that were available. Coming this early to the gym was definitely a benefit, and with a former champion as a training partner, Ami was sure that she'd learn a thing or two...maybe even something that could help her in a future rematch to reclaim a loss from one of the couple of people that bested her before, like Lauren Fredericks or Saori Aiko...either way, she was just excited to begin.

"Did you wanna go through some drills and exercises first, or were you looking to jump straight into things?" Ami asked quizzically, bouncing on her feet as the pair slipped through the ropes and into the ring.
