Yamato grew up in a fairly standard home in a nice, quiet neighborhood, but unlike most other girls her age, she was far more active and rambunctious. She dove into the world of athletics and sports early on, hung out with mostly boys, and became quite the jock by the time she entered middle school. The young woman at the time fell in love with all sorts of boyish things, from sports to dinosaurs to pirates, you name it! But Yamato’s biggest passion was her fascination with medieval fantasy! Dragons, magic, daring adventures, perilous quests, and most of all-...VALIANT KNIGHTS!!! The girl was enamored with Western media films and novels depicting a band of heroic adventurers led by a courageous, admirable figure dressed in gallant, shining armor wielding mythical blades forged by legendary blacksmiths, all to rescue a princess from a terrifying evil or save the kingdom from an external threat the size of an army! Of course, Yamato never imagined herself as a princess. She always thought of herself as a knight, dedicating herself to some knight-like tendencies and vows, helping those in need, standing up for the weak, aiding those who could not aid themselves...all in the name of justice!
Then, one day, on a particularly rainy afternoon, Yamato was at the train station on her way to a different prefecture for a college tour. She had gone off on her own as she was more than capable of getting around by herself. Being the high school star athlete she was, she was very mature and responsible for her age, as noted by several teachers and parents. Yamato was head of her class, captain of the basketball team, and an overall star student with a heart of gold...so when she saw a shy young woman on the verge of a breakdown at the ticket booth, her valiant heart went into overdrive as she caught the woman in her arms after she tripped and nearly fell on a slippery part of the floor, cradling her gently as she held her gently. She must've seemed like an angel in the heat of the moment, sunlight peeking through the gray clouds, illuminating her silhouette with a golden hue as if she were a goddess.
The woman she rescued was named Miyuki Iwata-...and what followed was a tender yet awkward moment where the two made a bit of small talk after spending a long time holding onto one another...far longer than either meant to do. Though they didn't understand it then, both felt sparks flying from the other's touch, a magnetic-like connection drawing them together. And like that, the rest is history-...One thing led to another, and eventually, the two began dating, moved in with one another, dropped out of college together, and eventually found the sudden spark to become professional Joshi-wrestlers. A short yet impressive stretch in the indie circuit as a tag team with Yamato's skills and Miyuki's social media management skills aided the pair in getting their names out into the world before being picked up as a package deal by LAW.

(In-Character): Loyal-to-a-fault, Valiant, Overzealous...an oath-sworn knight looking to defend her lady from all who would oppose her and her goals. You are either her ally...or her enemy. Yamato's feelings toward Miyuki translate very well into her persona as a knight sworn with the protection of her beloved queen. Obsessive to a fault and zealously vigilant, Yamato takes any sleight toward Miyuki with extreme prejudice and will make a definitive example out of those who dare trifle with her or her queen.

- Yamato was a star athlete when it came to basketball and volleyball, and she was a solid track & field runner as well. (All thanks due to her tall body and lengthy legs)
- Yamato is a HUGE fan of classic 80s-90s American action movies...especially fantasy stuff (which Miyuki worked with by making Yamato her sworn 'Knight')
- Yamato looks serious and stern in the ring, but she's a huge, competitive goofball having the time of her life.
