"No, Amelia. I'll be fine. Just watch the match through the screens, OK? I'll come back here straight away when it's done."

Serafina Kunisada and her sister Amelia were naturally close allies, even forming the tag team Lucha Liana together. But tonight their tag team wasn't to make an appearance - instead the elder sister Serafina was having her first singles match in the LAW arena. And obviously, if Sera was having a singles match, she was determined to battle through it without any aid from her sister! Fair and square. She wasn't going to need any help from Amelia - and in fact, she shouldn't have even accepted any help from Amelia. Las Ninjas Latinas always fought respecfully and fair!

Just as Sera began making her way towards the ramp though, she glanced over her shoulder and looked at her sister. Realizing that she actually had no idea how this Svetlana girl was going to be like, she had only heard that she was a middleweight with a somewhat mixed record, La Liana Azul wanted to warn her sister from accidentally getting in her way or something. "Just... Keep an eye out for yourself, OK? If you run into her, she might confuse you for me..." the elder sister briefly warned, before heading towards the ramp again.

Of course, this was a big moment for Serafina! But she still had her sister's well-being in mind anyway. But now though, it was time to make her debut. Yes, she was feeling a bit nervous... But also curious and excited at the same time! She was finally get to feel how it was like to wrestle at the LAW arena!

The mystical tunes of Sera's entrance theme accompanied the blue-clad ninja as she made her way down the ramp in a graceful and determined fashion, her eyes wondering and taking in the LAW arena. Not really engaging with the crowds that much at all apart from a few subtle waves before she had reached the ring apron, their reaction to Sera's entrance was definitely rather positive, but still relatively mild and expectant, as typical for a newcomer. Not that Sera minded too much about that though, she preferred impressing the viewers once inside the ring, and the battle was on.

Still, Sera's entrance did include some theatrics. By the time she had reached the ring apron, she promptly climbed onto the closest turnbuckle. Then finally turning her sight towards the crowds' direction, she bowed in a typical Japanese manner to each side before jumping down into the ring in a Somersault and settling down in her corner, waiting to see how this Svetlana girl was going to turn out to be like.

Svetlana was backstage in her purple and white wrestling attire ready to go! She had wrestled a debuting wrestler not long ago and Svetlana had frankly been outright embarassed in that outing. She was determined not to let that happen again. She would stick to her plan of keeping this woman grounded to turn it into grappling, technical moves and holds as best she could.

Sure, strikes and some lifting moves would be peppered in there but that would be secondary once she was able to start working in her better holds. As her music began to play Svetlana came out to the cheers of the crowd as the tabletop streaming wrestler emerged. She held her arms out and strut her stuff down the ramp looking over at each side of the crowd. Svetlana would pick up speed and slide in underneath the bottom rope before standing tall basking the cheers for another second before stepping to the center of the ring. "We will have a good match yes?" Svetlana said as she extended her hand.

Serafina tried to assess her opponent as well as she could as she was making her entrance. She certainly seemed to know how to take her audience... They seemed to like her, which was probably good news. It likely meant that she wasn't facing any type of mean heel, or someone known by the crowds to be a displeasure to see inside the ring. And as the woman entered the ring to bask in the cheers of the crowds, Sera could also see her body better, subconciously even taking some steps from her corner towards her opponent to see her even better.

As La Liana Azul finally met Svetlana in the middle of the ring, she could finally truly see what she was dealing with. She was certainly very hot looking with a curiously colored hair, and about the same height as her... But with a pretty thick and toned body, maybe granting her a slight weight advantage. But what was the most striking aspect about the Polish woman were her abs... They were spectacular, and her wrestling attire had clearly been designed to showcase them to the world - and to her opponents. Certainly for Sera at least it felt a little bit intimidating... As the ninja could only determine that her opponent was probably pretty trained and strong overall.

Still, she seemed to have friendly spirits. "Yes, absolutely. May the best woman win!" the blue-clad ninja replied politely, meeting Svetlana's extended hand with her own and shaking it as any honorable fighter would. Then, taking a few steps backwards, the ninja also performed the traditional small Japanese bow towards her opponent, before retreating towards her corner a bit for the imminent ringing of the bell. She wasn't quite sure yet what would be her game plan tonight... But Sera was still preparing herself, ready to dodge to the side and shoot a quick kick or chop towards her opponent, should she try to attack immediately towards her!

Svetlana smiled and nodded to Serafina as the bell rang. Svetlana was being cautious here. Serafina was roughly the same size but didn't quite have the mass or thickness or Svetlana although overall both women were solidly in the middle of middleweight range. Svetlana had her hands up trying to engage in a grapple but she took a couple kicks to the side as Serafina kept moving! "Ngh! Okay.... okay...." Svetlana said before getting Serafina right in front of her trying to leap up and dropkick her in the chest! If she caught her opponent off guard she hoped the dropkick landed with some impact otherwise Svetlana may hit nothing but air and be wide open...

Serafina certainly appreciated the little nod that the Polish woman returned to her direction, even if the style of it wasn't exactly the traditional one, similar to her own. But it still wasn't a reason to go easy on her... Wanting to get a good start, the ninja sent a couple of kicks towards Svetlana's side, with them clearly having an effect on the woman... Before Sera realized that she had in fact tried to engage in a grapple! Now, La Liana Azul wasn't sure whether engaging in a grapple or a test of strength was necessarily the best idea against a thick-looking girl like Svetlana, but she was still too proud to turn down the challenge...

Unfortunately, Serafina simply had understood the challenge a little bit too late! Svetlana had already made the interpretation that the debuting rookie wasn't interested in it, and once the blue-clad ninja started approaching her, she was already shooting a dropkick towards her chest! This caught the ninja totally off guard, with her breasts flattening from the impact, and sending her crashing backwards to the canvas! "Ohhh..." the downed fighter moaned from pain, as she rolled herself over to her front for now...

Svetlana saw Serafina hit the mat and roll but she wasn't done! She wanted to pounce and keep going once she had any semblance of momentum. Svetlana jumped up and came down on Serafina's spine with an elbow drop before transitioning to a sitting side headlock, squeezing as hard as she could on her opponents head while yanking it back! She wanted to sap her debuting opponent while conserving her own energy and this seemed as good a way as any to quickly implement that plan.

Serafina had suffered a bad start, and had quickly found herself downed by the dropkick... From which the ninja knew very well that she'd have to try to recover as quickly as she could! Rolling over to her front, La Liana Azul was planning to try getting back up immediately... But instead, she got a devastating elbow to her spine! "Gahh!" It incapacitated the rookie well enough, that Svetlana had no problem pulling her into the sitting side headlock...

While Sera could already tell that her opponent was skilled, she also got to feel some of her upper-body strength as well as the headlock tightened around her. The ninja could also tell that she wasn't espacing from this one... At least not easily at all, allowing the Polish girl to reach her goal of sapping her energy. But as the debuting rookie did not want to look like she would have been simply surrendering, she tried to also blindly throw her elbows somewhere behind her, or chops to the side of her, hoping that she could get lucky and manage to hit some part of her opponent!

"Oomph! Ugh! Ngh!"

Svetlana began getting peppered with strikes of desperation but they were hurting her quite a bit. Svetlana let go of the hold and rolled to her side as she got up to her feet. She expected Serafina to get back up to her feet and she would be ready. As soon as Serafina was up Svetlana would step up and swing her leg hard trying to send a mid-kick right across the abdomen of Serafina to double her over!

Serafina got to taste the feel of Svetlana's bicep, but the purple-haired girl ended up getting a taste of some of the ninja's strikes in return. Sure, they were anything but planned and coordinated, but this time it was quantity over quality that ruled. Eventually Sera's efforts were rewarded as she could feel the grip loosening around her head, and the Polish girl rolling to the side, granting the Mexican-Japanese girl a much-needed breather.

The match had only just begun though, so both fighters were still at good energy levels. This meant that it took no time for Svetlana to get back up to her feet, and as soon as Serafina had rolled over to her front to face her, she was starting to get back up to her own feet as well. However, the ninja could see the Polish girl's toned thighs in front of her, and she got an ominous feeling about it... Thus, she was already making a plan B.

La Liana Azul first began getting further back up... But suddenly, right before she would have gotten upright, she bent forward again to a handstand... While trying to continue her momentum so that the backs of her thighs would get smacked against Svetlana's shoulders! From there, she tried to quickly wrap her thighs around the Polish girl's head, before changing direction in hopes that she could get the purple-haired girl thrown forward with a Headscissors Takedown!

Svetlana was taken completely by surprise! She was wide eyed as Serafina moved and wrapped her legs around Svetlana's head sending her crashing down hard to the canvas! "UGH!" The Polish grappler groaned as she was laying on her back, weakly kicking the mat once as her inner thigh trembled. Svetlana shook her head, trying to work her way back to her feet but the impact and surprise of the counter left her moving a bit slow.
