High School Reunion: Yukari Takeba vs Kotone Shiomi

Stage guy telling me to get ready. Kick ur cute butt soon girlfriend Yukari Takeba finished send a text put putting her phone away with the rest of her stuff. The recipient of said text being none other than Kotone Shiomi, both one of her best friends and her opponent standing on the backstage entrance ramp opposite Yukari's own. In a couple minutes, they'd be doing battle in the ring between them.

Yukari thought that it was honestly crazy how many of the girls from her dorm in high school ended up in LAW. Kotone herself, as well as Aigis, were both pretty obviously going into wrestling as careers. In fact, wrestling matches between the two of them were a pretty common source of viewing entertainment for the rest of the dorm back in high school. Though the odd still weren't great that the both ended up in the same promotion.

The real shocker was Fuuka. Had she been prompted back in high school, Yukari would've readily taken a bet that the then timid bluenette would live her entire life without ever throwing a single punch until the day she died. Yet here she was. The actress had been able to follow Fuuka's logic when she heard it, but it was still hard to believe regardless.

As the relatively late joiner, Yukari's choice to join LAW was much more deliberate. The action star's decision to take up pro wrestling was born from a semi-serious, semi-joking Johnny Cage-esque "I actually can really fight" publicity stunt. Then when it came time to choose what wrestling league she would actually fight in, Yukari simply chose the one that already had a bunch of her best friends in it.

Yukari's music came on first, and she made her entrance in a pink Featherman bikini. After the outfit fiasco of the actress's debut, the producers behind her most iconic role gave her permission to wear Featherman themed attire for her matches if she so desired, having weighed their own desire to not see their star actress dressed like that in public again as heavier than their desire to not have Featherman even more directly associated with erotic wrestling matches.

Yukari, with an extra bounce in her step, hi-fived the front row fans all the way down to the ring. When she got there, the brunette pulled herself up by the ropes, doing a midair splits before flipping over into the ring and landing on her feet. Then the actress struck a Featherman pose before moving into her corner and waiting for her friend to make her entrance.

”Kotone Shiomi”

For Kotone, there had been a lot of doubt about if she even belonged in a wrestling ring. Loss after loss after loss, the pins and tap outs kept piling up with a garbage pile. Putting on her ring attire felt like it was eventually going to lead to inevitable disappointment.

But there was something motivating her today, the fact that she was going to be wrestling her old High School friend in Yukari Takeba. It had been a while since the two had seen each other, with Yukari coming into wrestling a bit later then Kotone, but it was better late then ever. Especially after Yukari sent her a text, Kotone knew she wanted to be the one to kick Yukari’s butt, whether they are friends or not.

After doing a few stretches, Kotone eventually got the notification that her match was about to begin, as Yukari had already made her way down to the ring. Kotone gave the local official a smile before heading off to the ring.

The arena became veiled in orange light, as Kotone came out of the stage with a bright smile on her face as the crowd cheered her on, wanting to know if this will finally be the moment she wins and removes herself from Jobber status. She skipped down to the ring, slapping hands with as many fans as she could before walking up the steel steps, and under the middle rope into the ring before striking a pose in the center of the ring and then heading to her corner.

That was when she saw Yukari for the first time. “Hey Yukari, hope your ready to give me your best fight, because I will not go down easily.”

Yukari loved seeing Kotone's smile as she made her entrance. She knew that the redhead hadn't exactly been doing well at LAW so far in her time as a pro, so the actress was glad that her friend was still plenty cheerful. Though Yukari was rather surprised by Kotone's struggles. She had always seemed so strong and skilled back in high school, yet something about transitioning to a pro just hadn't seemed to click for some reason.

"I'd be disappointed if you did," Yukari said in response to Kotone's claim. Really, despite having send she would kick her friends butt via text only a couple minutes ago, she really wasn't expecting to win this. The action star knew how to fight, but Kotone was a bona fide, dedicated wrestler. Hell, the majority of Yukari's wrestling experience before LAW was watching the redhead actually do it.

Even with that in mind, that didn't mean Yukari wasn't about to do anything less than do everything she could to make good on her claims of kicking Kotone's butt once the bell rang. And even if she failed at that, the brunette was confident that this was still going to be lots of fun. Well the bell did ring, Yukari would waste no time. She charged in at Kotone and leaped through the air at her. But Yukari would land on her feet in front of her friend, because she had something real cheeky planned. As Kotone hopefully scrambled to guard low upon seeing Yukari land, the model would jump up again, this time doing a front flip right in front of the redhead, intending to stick her legs out as she came down to put a Koppo Kick right on the crown of Kotone's head.

Of course, this was risky almost to a stupid extent. If Kotone decided to just attack at any point, Yukari was in trouble. But if she let the model's attack go through, as the redhead got knocked down onto her stomach, Yukari would land down on the mat as well. Then the actress would use the legs which she already had extended near Kotone's head and put into an Inverted Headscissor, with Yukari pulling her friend's face up between her legs as she squeezed.

Kotone was getting into position, throwing a wink towards Yukari as the bell began to ring. Even if they are friends, that does not mean Kotone would be fighting any less hard then she does on a regular match, she was determined to make sure Yukari would either be pinned or submitted byu the end of the match.

Ktone saw Yukari charge right at her, something that did throw Kotone off a little, seemed like Yukari wanted to start off fast tonight. Kotone made herself ready for when Yukari got into range, revving up her foot.

When Yukari leaped up, she left her head exposed, meaning Kotone found her opening. “GOT YAH!” She said excitedly as she attempted to land a Thrust Kick right into Yukari’s cranium, hoping to stop her incoming attack.

It seemed that just like Yukari, Kotone was in an attacking mood tonight. She didn't even wait for the actress's attempt at a mix-up, the redhead ignored defense entirely and went straight for the counter on Yukari's first jump. And since the brunette wasn't coming down with any sort of attack to challenge Kotone with, it connected head on with Yukari's face.

"Gah!" Yukari hissed as she flew back through the air in the other direction before landing flat on her back. "Jeez Kotone," said Yukari as she rolled backward onto her side to get up. "At least let me show off a little!" The actress spoke with mock frustration, but the sting in her nose was definitely real.

Yukari would let Kotone come at her next, but Feather Pink was not done flying. When the redhead got close, Yukari would jump again, but this time she would backflip away from Kotone, hoping to bait her friend into trying to chase her down to attack. If she did, and if Yukari flipped far back enough that Kotone couldn't make up the distance in time, then the actress would use the landing from her backflip to drop down into a crouch and charge her legs up to spring forward into the redhead's legs for a takedown. If Yukari succeeded, then she would take Kotone's legs into her grip and try to put her into a Figure Four Leglock.

Kotone chuckled to herself, finding Yukari’s words and tone rather humorous. Just because Yukari was her friend, does not mean she was going to go easy on her, heck she was probably going to try even harder to beat her.

“All right then, I’ll show you how to attack.” Kotone said, before charging at Yukari, the positioning of herself made it obvious what Kotone was about to go for next.

When Kotone got close, Yukari backflipped away, slightly upsetting Kotone. “Oh come on, don’t play that game” Kotone said as she attempted to launch a superkick.

Which completely whiffed, causing Kotone to lose her balance, making her an easy target for a takedown by Yukari as she was knocked down onto the mat, and her legs wrapped up in a Figure Four Leglock.

“AAAAH!” Kotone screamed, as she writhed in pain for a while, before using her elbows to force herself to the ropes and break the hold.

Yukari chuckled when Kotone seemed to complain about the actress's evasiveness, "Do remember that archery was my sport back in high school. We archers happen to be rather fond of not getting hit." With Kotone whiffing her Superkick as badly as she did, it was pretty easy for Yukari to lock in the Figure Four Leglock as she had intended.

"Come on, don't be a drama queen," Yukari said when she heard Kotone scream. "We both know you've gritted through worse than this." Yukari held her friend's boot in her grip as her own foot sat itself on one of the red stripes on Kotone's shorts. She grinned before speaking again, "Which just means that I'll have to push this even harder!"

Yukari planted her hands backwards on either side of her head before pushing up, stretching her body out into a bridge and converting her Figure Four Leglock into a Figure Eight. Kotone may be able to crawl to the ropes to get out of this eventually, but the brunette would make sure she felt it every step of the way. "I might believe it if you started scream now, hehe," teasing Yukari has her chest bounced upside down over her head.

Kotone was in an immense amount of pain this early on. Figure Four Leglocks are never fun to take, and Yukari’s was especially painful. As much as she could scream, making noise like she was doing was not going to end the pain of this submission.

Sadly, for Kotone, the pain itself would only get worse, as Yukari proceeded to bridge out, causing Kotone even more pain, her face visibly grimacing as it heightened her instinct to try and crawl back towards the ropes.

Kotone would then attempt to make a grasp for the ropes, knowing that it was the only thing that could save the auburn-haired girl this early in this match.

"Alright! Let's keep this up," Yukari cheered as she held Kotone trapped in her Figure Eight Leglock. The model knew that if she wanted to take down a wrestler the caliber of her friend, then she couldn't let herself fall too far behind. Getting hit first made things a bit dicey, but Yukari had managed to come back from that wonderfully to take the advantage.

Still, for all of the progress that Yukari was making, she didn't have much of a way to stop Kotone's own progress. The redhead was slowly but surely dragging herself to the ropes with the actress in tow. A destination which Kotone did eventually manage to successfully reach, forcing Yukari to release her hold for a rope break.

Once both wrestlers were standing, Yukari would be quick to resume her attack. She'd stay on the ground this time, starting by trying to snap a kick out at the back of Kotone's knee. If she succeeded in buckling the redhead, Yukari would then bring her leg around and up over her friend's head and try to bring it down for an Axe Kick onto the top of Kotone's skull, hopefully knocking her flat onto her stomach.

Kotone let out a sigh of relief, she had managed to break the Figure Eight Leglock, and grabbed the ropes. Her legs, especially around the calves were still in pain though, so getting up was going to take a while.

Grabbing the ropes, Kotone attempted to use the ropes to push herself up to her feet, gritting her teeth as she had to tough out the pain that was firing through her body. On the corner of her eye, she saw Yukari approaching her, and with how evidently in pain she was, Kotone knew she was coming for her leg.

“NO!” Kotone yelped, before attempting to use the ropes to assist her with jumping over Yukari’s kick, hopefully dodging it.

If Yukari was stunned after missing that kick, Kotone would then jump at Yukari with a Clothesline, hopefully knocking her down.
