Rising Star? Mikasa Takeuchi vs. Vida Fenix

Post by Luncha_Libre »

The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL!
To be won by pinfall or submission ...

Vida finished her pre-match stretches, just as the ring crew called her out for her entrance. Things had been hard lately, and the young luchadora was working herself to the bone, but she was sure it was going to pay off soon. If she could make a strong showing tonight, against a serious fighter like her opponent tonight, Vida would surely prove she’d stepped up her game. The luchadora took a deep breath, then exploded through the curtains!

“Animo!” Vida shouted as her entrance theme echoed through the arena. Enthusiasm pouring off her, Vida ran down the ramp high-fiving every hand offered to her and grinning ear to ear. With a single bound, Vida cleared the distance from the floor to the apron and grabbed the top rope. Vida crossed herself over her chest and wiped her boots three times on the apron. Then, the young luchadora launched herself over the top rope!

Vida flew into the ring and landed with a roll. Popping up out of it with her arms extended in greeting to the fans, Vida beamed as she looked out into the arena. The petite luchadora then popped up to her feet, smiling and nodding to the ref as she shook out her limbs. The lights went low for the next wrestler to make her entrance, and Vida looked up the ramp, feeling ready for anything.

The arena began to light up with red and yellow lasers and strobe lights after Vida's entrance as Electric Yerevan by Serj Tankian played, the pounding guitar riffs, even beat, and electric sound immediately getting the crowds attention. The newcomer Mikasa Takeuchi stepped out onto the stage, her arms held out as she basked in the attention. Her fiery red hair and glasses accenting the dangerous and excited expression on her face. Her small and revealing dress shirt and tie with the jacket over it gave her that air of professionalism as well as she adjusted her glove. Topped off by tight slacks, Mikasa looked as comfortable in a business deal now as she did getting ready to get into a fight.

And after she got to the center of the stage, Mikasa rose a hand and snapped her fingers. Shortly after, both Toshiko Ito and Kazuko Ito, members of her Cataclysm stable stepped out to flank her. A big, cheeky grin was on her face as she simply walked down the ramp with them behind her as she watched Vida Fenix. Oh, this excited little girl. Mikasa was going to love throwing her around. Eventually, Mikasa would get to the ring steps and make her way up. Toshiko and Kazuko stayed behind, with Toshiko looking indignant to have to be there in the first place, while Kazuko was happily clapping for her friend.

Takeuchi would then get to the center of the ring, staring down Vida and flashing her a toothy smirk. Then, she rose her hand in a dramatic fashion before slamming it down palm-first. A loud thunder sound echoed through the arena as the Lightning Crasher had multiple yellow lightning streaks heading to her position. A flashy entrance, and one she no doubt orchestrated meticulously and very aggressively demanded she'd have. Gotta wow them--that was the first rule. Give them a good entrance, and the attention was already on her. And Mikasa Takeuchi was fully aware that was what it was all about.

Mikasa would then stay in the center of the ring, standing up and taking a few steps back to allow Vida to have her side of the ring, gesturing to the space between them. "Vida Fenix, right?" said Mikasa as she pulled off her jacket, throwing it to her corner to reveal her healthy-sized muscles. Hardened and certainly meant for throwing another woman around. "Big time. Big stage. But tonight's story is about me, so keep that in mind." Giving Fenix a wink behind her glasses, Mikasa would then gesture for Vida to come at her. "Might be able to squeeze a little shine in there for you if I'm feeling generous though. Something tells me you play the part of the helpless girl in peril better though. What do you think?" asked Mikasa rather casually. She didn't seem to have a lot of nerves or fear ahead of this match, and she was already making digs at her opponent as the match was ready to begin.

But it was all a show for Takeuchi, and she'd vowed to make it a damn fun one.

Re: Rising Star? Mikasa Takeuchi vs. Vida Fenix

Vida watched her opponent’s entrance with an impressed look on her face. The younger woman never knew how some folks could wrestle in clothes like full suits … she had to be good, if she was able to keep herself moving in clothes like that! Vida looked at her face, and felt relieved … at least this woman was smiling, on her way down! Vida’s relief quickly shattered, however, as her opponent hit the ground, and an explosion of pyrotechnics went off! Vida jumped back, heart pounding, eyes wide in shock. She barely managed to compose herself by the time Mikasa addressed that.

“Y-yo soy Vida Fenix,” Vida nodded, as Mikasa addressed her. However, the young woman was confused by everything else the woman said. “I do understand what you’re talking about, but I’m here to wrestle. I’m going to give you everything I’ve got, so don’t expect this to be too easy on you!” Vida pumped a fist, hoping her attempt at tough talk was going as well as it seemed to be going, in her head.

Staying on her side of the ring, Vida took a few last moments to stretch before the opening bell. When the referee finally motioned for it, Vida would take quick steps to close the distance and lock up with her opponent.

Mikasa Takeuchi was watching Vida as she seemed to be more confused and alarmed by her entrance and everything else she had to say. The redhead had to laugh, shaking her head as Fenix began to approach her, speaking back to her. "Ooooh... Come on, you need to do better than that! Who is going to remember any of that!? 'Yo soy Vida Fenix, I'm here to wrestle!' You need to do a lot of work in just... every respect of your presentation right now," explained Mikasa as she chastised her opponent, shaking her head.

And the bell would sound, signaling the start of the match. "But... maybe you'll learn a few pointers when you see an artist at work," added Mikasa with a big grin on her face. And Vida was the first to make a move. She closed the distance for a lock up, ready to get this match started. Only as Fenix went high, Mikasa decided she would need to go a different direction.

She went low, ducking underneath and grabbing Vida around the waist. Then, she would attempt to lift Vida up and over her with that same grip, attempting a Northern Lights Suplex right off the bat! If successful, she would then bridge the move, trying for a swift, surprise win over her opponent with a flashy maneuver! It would surely be a way for Mikasa to make a splash so early on in the match!

Vida's cheeks flushed red as Mikasa continued to dress her down. Vida pushed her hair out of her face, eyebrow raised curiously, looking like she was having real, physical difficulty processing what was being said to her. Vida shook her shoulders, and walked up to her opponent.

"I let my wrestling speak for me ..." Vida said, as she went into the lock up. Even as she did so, however, Vida looked to one side self-consciously. As if she already knew the comment was about as far as she could get from a good comeback, but having absolutely no idea what else she could have said. Completely in her own head and not nearly as focused as she should have been on her grappling, Vida was easy pickings as Mikasa went low and hooked her around the waist.

"Hey!" Vida cried out, shocked as Mikasa yanked her up and over for a very early high Northern Lights Suplex! Vida's toned legs flailed as she went through the air and her head and shoulders were slammed into the mat! Vida was planted, legs and ass in the air as she stared up into her own chest with a look of stunned shock on her face!

With a swift and unexpected move, Mikasa was able to lift Vida up and back, slamming her into the mat with the Northern Lights Suplex before releasing her grip on it and then rolling to her side, looking down at Vida skeptically. "'I let my wrestling speak for me' said every other wrestler ever! Where's that authenticity? Where's that fire to show something, huh?" asked Takeuchi, standing up and then grabbing hold of her opponent by the waist while she was still upturned on the mat.

"The problem is my wrestling talks a lot more than yours does," stated the Lightning Crasher simply. Then, Mikasa would attempt to lift up Vida, pushing the limits of her strength as she went for a German Suplex, looking to send Vida flying the opposite direction now! While she had the opportunity, Takeuchi was looking to spread as much pain around to her opponent while she could early on in her debut match!

“Wh-what are you talking about …?” Vida moaned, grimacing in pain with her head still planted on the mat and her toned ass sticking up in the air. Vida tried to roll over, her legs flailing around in the air for a moment as she tried to right herself despite being completely disoriented. Before she could, however, she felt Mikasa’s powerful arms close in on her waist!

“AAH!” Vida cried out, arms flailing as if she was going to reach some kind of escape. Instead, Mikasa pulled a wide-eyed and terrified Vida up into the air, arms and legs flailing, before she was once again splattered against the mat! Vida’s body rocked off the canvas, bouncing up and off. Vida came out of the slam falling flat on her face, wincing in pain, moaning miserably as Mikasa was having her way with her.

Mikasa Takeuchi was showing off her suplex prowess quite early on in this match. She wasn't able to see exactly what shape her opponent landed in, but she knew it was unlikely to be pretty as she sat back up, shrugging and looking out to Kazuko on the outside and shouted out to her, "She doesn't get it, I don't think! This is why they need me here!" The Lightning Crasher had a big grin on her face as she stood up, as Kazuko seemed amused by her stable mate's comment. She was very well aware of how Mikasa looked at wrestling. It was a performance art to get a bigger paycheck. The better she looked, the more money and exposure she'd get.

It was something that Mikasa lived by, and she was willing to do it at the expense of anyone in her way. And that was Vida Fenix, who was simply just not pulling her weight here. "Darling, do you not get it yet? We're putting on a show! Or at least, one of us is! At this point, you're just asking me to squash you, and honestly I'm okay with it, but you just need to let me know if you're going to put up a fight!" said Takeuchi.

With a sigh, she leaned down and got to Fenix's side, trying to drag her up to her feet. "Now come on... I'm gonna suplex you again. Unless you have something to say about it. But this one is going to have a bit more spice on it," teased Mikasa with a laugh. Then, she would secure a tighter grip on Vida's side. And she would attempt to throw Vida to her side with a Snap Saito Suplex--a move she called the Thunder Drop! A move that would knock Vida hard on her cranium, if successful!

Vida lay there in a heap, trying to process the massive amount of pain her body was in. The match had been a non-starter for her, the young luchadora being powerless to start fighting back against Mikasa’s barrage of suplexes. Left in a heap, her ring gear getting disheveled, body sweaty and aching, Vida shook her head and tried to figure out a way back into the bout.

“Uuughn,” Vida moaned as Mikasa started peeling her body off the mat. Vida shook her head, trying to put up some resistance before it was too late! Slowly, with an uncomfortable jerking motion, Vida tried to elbow Mikasa off of her … mostly catching her with the soft upper arm, but before she knew it Vida was going up and over again!

“AAAARGH!” Vida cried out as she was dumped on her head, the luchadora bouncing off with the Thunder Drop, arms wrapping around her head! Vida tried to pull herself out of Mikasa’s arms with the impact, legs flailing as her body was racked with pain! In desperate pain, Vida’s thrashing took her over to the ropes. Groaning, holding her head, Vida would lay beneath the bottom rope. The young luchadora was taking a hell of a battering in this match, and she knew it. Fighting the urge to cry, Vida sucked it up and took deep breaths, focusing on her breathing and trying to keep herself from passing out!

Mikasa Takeuchi hit the Thunder Drop with pinpoint accuracy, sending Vida Fenix onto the mat as her body tumbled until she got to the ropes. The Lightning Crasher sat up with a grin, looking satisfied as she looked over at Vida. "Oh, this is deeply unfortunate! This is going to be a squash! No valiant fighting back! Just a hurting little girl who looks like she's going to cry any second now," said Mikasa, looking faux disappointed at Vida. She pushed herself up and then took the time to walk over to Vida and added, "But hey, let's see if we can get the crowd louder, right?"

Mikasa would then nudge Vida with her boot until Fenix's front was hanging over the edge of the apron. The referee began to warn Mikasa to get away while she was under the ropes and Takeuchi put her arm around the referee, turning the official around so she couldn't see Vida and said, "Now listen, I know this is your job, and you're doing a fine job of it, but I have a job to do too..." The redhead continued to speak to the referee, who was trying to argue back with Mikasa.

This was all a distraction though, as Kazuko Ito came sprinting from one of the sides of the outside and headed right towards Vida Fenix, who was just over the apron! And then Kazuko threw a big superkick towards the side of Vida's head! A completely unnecessary attack given the nature of this match so far, but one that Kazuko seemed more than happy to do to overwhelmed Vida Fenix.
