Alice was doing some arm stretches and warming up in the locker room. She had a giant chip on her shoulder. She has only won one match ever since debuting in LAW and it was in a dark match. It felt like she had the entire world as this top independent prospect was going to show everyone why scouts had her as the next future ace of professional wrestling. She'd replay her top independent league highlights, submitting wrestlers, surprising bigger opponents with her speed, and making her master proud. But those pleasant memories would turn into nightmares as those highlight reels would burn right in front of her and instead would be replaced by her lowlights from LAW. Videos titled "ALICE ROSE TOP 10 JOBBER MOMENTS", "ALICE ROSE? THE RISE AND FALL OF AN ACE TURNED BUST?", and other similar ones.
Losing to Momoi in a double team involving her using her own estranged mother's ultimate submission against her while her brother would trap her in a banana split. Being dominated by a Ryona wrestler. All the times she was stretched in 100 different ways by an idol wrestler Barbara, an idol wrestler. Even moments of having a girl that looked like a mere child using her own move against her. This prompted Alice to punch the bench she was sitting on. She was in a slump. An embarrassing one at that. She knew that she had to get a win quick or risk either being released by the company or have her legacy known as a jobber or as the biggest "What If?" She knew that she had to do this while keeping her crusade of bring respect back to female wrestling. She was going to use this motivation and bring it to LAW's newest signee.
As the music starts playing, Alice would notice Gwendolyn. She respected her wrestling ability. She was known as one of the biggest names from the other company. But one thing Alice never liked about her was her disrespect and her attitude. The way she would demean her opponents. Using tactics like Her Majesty or using her guards. She hated wrestlers like that. She dresses like a queen but has the attitude of a jester. At least in her eyes. She knew that she wanted to wipe that attitude off her face and play spoiler to her debut.
Alice would walk towards the ring, staring at the opponent, ignoring the audience despite them cheering for this underdog because she was laser focused on Gwendolyn. She would enter the ring as she eyes her opponent. "
Welcome to LAW, Gwendolyn Dupon Bettencourt. Listen, I know you're one of the great wrestlers that made the jump. I can respect some of your technical ability, but why result to talking down to your opponent like peasants? Why treat them like garbage? You sit on them like chairs? You think you're dressed like a wrestler, but it looks like you're dressed up for a photoshoot with that get up and that hair. If you were desperate for attention, you like many other people that want it can go to OnlyFans and leave professional wrestling to the wrestlers that want to wrestle! I'm sure there will be desperate simps that would pay you more to sit on them and give you the attention you desperately want!" The crowd would cheer despite Alice's record because many of them didn't like Gwendolyn's attitude, but some of the purists also felt like Gwendolyn was an outsider and wanted a homegrown LAW wrestler to defend their honor.
Despite Gwendolyn towering over her, Alice would still walk up to her while saying all this.
"Things may have not been going well for me lately record wise, but I'm not going to let you come over and sit all over me like all the other people you've faced in the past! You're actually one of my dream opponents so you're going to see my at my best! I can't wait to make you submit and shut you up!" Alice may have bit off more than she could chew as Gwendolyn has a huge gap of wrestling experience over her, but she knew she had to stay confident especially with the crowd on her side. No matter how Gwendolyn would retort, once the bell rings, Alice would already plan to use her speed to surprise her with a quick high kick towards her face assuming she doesn't counter it into something that'll spell trouble for Alice! She hasn't watched any recent Gwendolyn matches in a while, so she's not sure how much has changed in her style!
