A Sumo encounter and new freinds!

Hinako exited the gym Changing room in her usual attire for amateur tournaments and training.

She had just recently signed officially with law and had decided the best thing to do would be to stay on top of her training and check out a official law gym.

"Hmm, looks nice." She stated taking a look around the facilities before going to a corner to begin as she usually does with shiko leg lifts

Maya entered the gym wearing her usual wrestling outfit. Noticing there weren't that many people around at the time, she decided to sit on one of the machines while reading over some notes she had written down on a small notebook. Her notes included some details she had to work on to become a better teammate. After all, she had recently joined a stable and, in her mind, it'd make sense to work on certain details in her fighting style so she could adapt to the varied array of opponents she'd face along with her two teammates.

While reading her notes, however, a peculiar sight caught the corner of her eye... A fellow newbie. In particular, a fellow newbie doing shiko leg lifts.
...sheiko leg lifts... 'That's it!' she thought to herself, calmly closing her notebook and approaching the girl with her usual stoic look on her face.

"Greetings. I apologize if I seem rude, but I must ask... Are you familiar with sumo wrestling?" She asks, bowing formally to the girl as she looks at her, waiting for an answer. She wants to make sure she knows about sumo because she believes that learning more about it could potentially help her improve on her own combative capabilities.

Hinako merely continued her exercises until suddenly another girl at the gym approached her.

"YES!!" Hinako enthusiastically answered...before breaking out into a bright blush bowing while coughing lightly and continuing "I mean yes. It's actually my personal specialty. My name is Hinako Shijou by the way! Why do you ask? About the sumo I mean!"

Maya chuckled a bit at Hinako's sudden display of enthusiasm and embarrassment. Her face showing a small smile for a few seconds before quickly returning to its usually stoic state. "My name is Maya, and I'm asking because I wish to learn more about it. I'm looking to improve my skills as a grappler, and I believe learning more about the art of sumo wrestling might help with that." She says, her tone remaining formal, yet Hinako was already starting to catch the larger woman's attention.

At hearing the larger girls reasons Hinako quickly sprang up and beamed at her "Oh of course! It's always wonderful to meet another girl even interested in sumo!" She says while happily clapping her hands together.

"I'm certain it is. It is always fun to find someone interested in your passions... and it seems as though sumo is one of yours, am I correct?" She asks, before following up her question with yet another question. "...and while on the subject of sumo... would you care to have a sumo match with me? I may not be as knowledgeable on the matter as you are, but I'm certain I could learn from your example."

"Indeed!" The blond smiled. A smile that woukd only grow larger with her new companions next question "I would be honored! If you need I have a spare Mawashi in my gym bag that I can get, Hmm but what of the dohyo? The normal wrestling mats this gym has won't due because of their shapes... oh I suppose we could jery rig one by putting some Towles in a circle!"

"Oh! I believe there's already a few spare mawashi I could choose from in the locker room... and as for the ring, however, I've heard there's a dohyo we could use over on that side of the gym" She says, pointing over to a small area behind all the training equipment, where a rope dohyo could be found!

"Wonderful!" The half Russian beamed as she went over and waited for her new acquaintance to come over after ready.

"But just because you are a newcomer does NOT mean I am going to go easy on you!" She says the a competitive look.

Once Maya finished picking a mawashi and put it on, she joined Hinako on the rope dohyo and did a quick sheiko leg lift of her own before staring at her acquaintance with a stoic, yet slightly competitive look on her face. "And I wouldn't like it any other way. Show me what you've got, Hinako!"
