Nico is fierce and determined, not wanting to be second place. She loves football and wrestling and tries to become the best of the world! She can be caring and fun but in the ring she gives 100% Even if she has just started,she wants to get big like her two idols Lionel Messi and Hans Krankl
Fighting Style:
Nico practices the art of "Keysi", a spanish martial art, developed in the 1980s and woven it into her fighting style.
Keysi does'nt envolve much footwork so Nico mixed some styles to develop her own style.
She practices it for 7 years now and quite excelled.
Next to football and wrestling she is also an experienced Flamenco Dancer, loving the style, the bodycontrol and....yes the dresses too, she has to admit.
All in all, Nico is wild variety of styles,hard kicks, swift strikes paired with a defense and the elegant moves of a flamenco dancer.
Making this Catalonian a worthy participant in the YL program!

Covering in the Spanish influenced Keysi Fighting Method or KFM, utilizes the defensive covering technique in an offensive manner. KFM utilizes a double arm covering stance called The Pensador which uses the arms that are defending to strike while still maintaining the covering position in front of the face.The strikes used while in The Pensador position range from elbow strikes to punches to head-butts, with each strike executed while maintaining the covering position of the arms in front of the head.

Still celebrated in Austria as "Wunder von Cordoba", it refers to the Victory of the Austrian Team over there overwhelmingly strong opponent germany at the WM 1978. The Austrians won 3:2 and even if the WM was over for both, the players remaind with friendly terms.
To honor this big victory, Nico created a move that highlighted her soccer talent with three devastating kicks!

Nico was the lovechild of an austrian Tourist and a katalonian mother who met her father when he was on vacation in Barcelona, watching a game of the FC.
When Nicos mother searched and found him, she found out that he was already married and had two small children.
Still she let him decide the name of the child, and as Nicos father always wanted a son, he already had two daughters, he challenged chance and named his unborn child Nico. Which could apply to a boy and a girl.
When Nico was born her father begrudgingly accepted that the son he wanted was still not in sight.
He visited for her birth and held her for his first and last time before going back to Austria, leaving her mother and Nico alone, supporting them wit money.
Her mother spent every euro she earned and all the money Nicos father sent to guarente that her little Sunshine had all she needed.
Football and the FC Barcelona seemed to be in the blood of the blonde girl as she never wanted to participate in "girly things" like tea parties, rather wanting to kick the leather with the boys who did'nt want her to participate.
At first that was.
In a match where the boys tried to foul and embaress her, Nico excelled, outplayed everyone and shot 3 goals, like her big Idol the "Goleador" Hans Krankl, a legend in the FC Club History and being of austrian heritage she take great pride in the fact.
Her mother acknowledged her talents, finally giving in and sending her to "Barca Academy", where the young girl started to become something of a genius with the ball, soon getting the position of striker in the girls team.
One day Nico accompanied a good friend of hers to the wrestling training she participated.
While waiting for her outside she was picked on by three older girls who also participated in wrestling.
Despite her best efforts, and even managing to dish out a few good kicks and punches too she was beaten up, only managing to go out without serious injuries as a wrestling trainer ended the fight.
Having watched Nico go up against the three girls and standing her ground halfway decent the trainer asked her to visit his classes from time to time.
Nico thought long and hard about it and eventually decided that another sport next to her beloved football could'nt hurt.
So the determined girl started to take wrestling classes, soon becoming one of the best athlethes in her class on the fact that she did Sport since she was a little child.
Managing to balance Football, Wrestling and her studies, the blonde whirlwind hardly had time for anything else to do as learn and train.
When she turned 18 she decided to cut down on the wrestling and become a pro at the Barca Womens Juniors, only to be left out as some of the other parents had bribed the managers to take their girls in.
Devastated, Nico gave up on football and decided to further her wrestling career where she had great promise, at least according to her trainers.
Said Trainer who found her had connections to LAW and the Young Lioness programm, feeling that Nico would be a good addition to LAWs training programm.
