Bast vs "Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines (c) for the LAW Heavyweight Title

Alaina felt Bast kick out and even though she used a modified amabomb she was not surprised. Gasping for breath she yanked Bast up by the hair and wrapped an arm around her head and bent her knees. Alaina lift Bast up and held her vertical a second before dropping Bast down on her head for a brain buster.

Alaina stumbled back up and to fire up the crowd strut around and flexed as the crowd cheered the rallying amazon!

Alaina was still in agonizing pain no matter what she did but she couldn't allow herself tonlose or get overwhelmed...

Bast was still trying to come to terms with what was going on, trying to process what had just occurred. It seemed impossible that Alaina had taken control of the match again, but that was what all available evidence pointed to, and she was just trying her best to comprehend it. What would it take to put this woman down? How far did she need to go?

It was starting to grow into a serious concern, especially now, as Alaina continued her assault. She lifted Bast up, turned her about in mid-air, and brought her down with a hellish impact right on her head, sending a shock down her spine. It was the Hammer of Africa’s turn to retreat now, and she rolled under the ropes and made her way to the outside once again, trying to create some space between them while she screwed her head back on.

Alaina saw Bast on the run, and as much as Alaina put her all into taking the fight to Bast she was fighting from behind and the match had gone on for a while now. Alaina had to fight through the pain to try to keep piling on. She vaulted over the ropes again at Bast trying to fly and crash into her again! Alaina was going to beat Bast down on the outside, vowing not to lose control again as she couldn't afford to...

Back on the floor. Again.

Bast was starting to realize her own limits more and more, as this fight continued to wear on her. She was accustomed to quick, brutal bouts, annihilating her foes in short fashion then moving, a blitzkrieg strategy. None of her previous LAW matches had gone anywhere close to this length, and she couldn't recall a single match before that taking so long, either. Meanwhile, many of Alaina’s matches had taken her this far into deep water. She was accustomed to it, but for Bast, she was fumbling in uncharted territory.

She had just made her way out of the ring to catch a breath, when her sister’s cries drew her attention. ”Bast, above you!”

It wasn’t much of a warning, but it was just enough for her to turn in time to see Alaina soaring through the air from above, a truly terrifying sight. There was no time to move out of the way, so as crazy as it sounded, she was left with one choice: Catch her. Bast’s hands came up, she planted her feet, and Alaina came right into her arms with all her crazy momentum. The Hammer of Africa was drive back one step, then two, then three, then almost fell over, almost…

No. No, she had her.

With a triumphant cry, Bast tossed the small woman up and onto her back in a fireman’s carry, preparing to bring her crashing down with a Samoan Drop.

Alaina flew and landed on Bast but once more the raw power of the statuesque giant amazed the amazon! Alaina was caught and lift onto her shoulders but she was ready. Alaina lift her legs up and clamped them around the head of Bast while leaning forward countering her position by turning it into a headscissor takedown to send Bast down to the ground!

Alaina knew this in and of itself wasn't devastating but more enough to stun the big woman so as soon as they landed Alaina would pounce and land some hard punches to the head to keep Bast in check before standing up pulling Bast by the arm. Alaina earlier had failed to send Bast into the steel steps but knew something else she wanted to do. Alaina wasn't just surviving right now, she wanted to show the challenger she could take everything she threw at the champion and still thrive. Alaina spun and sent Bast running crashing into the barricade!

Bast was learning all kinds of new things about Alaina today. Chief among those things was that this woman had a much deeper moveset than she or her sister anticipated. The figured that she was primarily a power wrestler, similar to herself with less skill in striking, so it would be a simple matter to beat her at her own game. But the more they fought, the more she realized that she was dealing with a well-rounded foe with a plethora of techniques to choose from.

Like, say, a headscissors takedown.

The move came out of nowhere and threw Bast for a loop, sending her tumbling to the floor. It wasn’t too damaging by itself, but the punches that came afterward certainly were, as her opponent came rushing forward with punches galore, smacking Bast across the face and driving her back. Her arm was seized in the next moment, and then she went for a ride, being hurled hard against the barricade, slamming into it with enough force to move it a few inches.

She stayed there, too, leaning on it for support as she tried, once again, to collect herself.

Alaina managed to take Bast down and stun her, working her plan. Hit fast, hit hard, do something unexpected. Next up was what Alaina hoped would be a bit of all three.

She took a deep breath and ran at Bast as quickly as her battered body would allow, lowering her shoulder and looking to crash into... no, crash straight through Bast! Alaina put her all into this and nothing was going to stop her from driving into Bast whether it be the raw power of the muscle mountain slumped against the barricade or the barricade itself!

Bast didn't speak a word of Austrian, but she spoke English well enough to recognize some cognates. In particular, she could tell that the crowd wasn’t particularly thrilled with her, still firmly behind Alaina, cheering their champion on and sending unkind words.

That was fine. Bast cared little and less about what people thought of her. She did have a word for them, though.

”Move.”

She said that when she saw Alaina charging her way, knowing what the woman was about to do and being completely unable to stop it. Alaina slammed into her and the barricade didn't stand a chance, collapsing with ease under their combined weight. The crowd behind them were scattered on impact, falling back as if a wave had come over them, and the two combatant found themselves engulfed in a pile of chairs, popcorn, and overpriced confections.

The impact sent all sorts of everything flying and as much as it was unpleasant for Alaina she knew Bast got the worst of it. Alaina felt like she could set up something big, something devastating for Bast. If Bast was a rock then Alaina was going to be the sledgehammer.

Alai ana staggered up and pulled Bast up slamming her abdomen with a knee strike as she yanked on her hair dragging her back towards the announce table, punching her to keep her under control as she went. She scooped Bast up and slammed her down on topnof the announce table, giving her abdomen a double axe handle strike after to spike her in place. Alaina stumbled as quickly as her legs allowed towards the ring, jumping in and out to reset the count before climbing back up on top of the turnbuckle. Alaina pumped a fist in the air and took off trying to sail through the air withba moonsault to land on top of Bast in a bid to smash her down through the announce table!

To say that Bast was in a bad position would be an epic understatement - it would be far more accurate to say that she was utterly rocked after taking a hellish hit like that, her back blazing in pain, thoroughly dazed and dizzied. She was easy picking for Alaina, as the Amazon proceeded to lift her and give her a knee to the stomach, shutting down any chances for retaliation.

She wound up taking more shots as she was moved over towards the announcer’s table, as Alaina kept her pacified with punches and planted her on the table with an axe-handle. It wasn’t too hard to guess what would be coming next, as the Amazon moved away, but there was a world of difference between knowing her fate and being able to stop.

She tried to roll out of the way, but the best Bast could manage was a twitch as Alaina came soaring through the sky and crashed down on her like the hand of god, obliterating the table beneath her in an instant and leaving Bast to lay there in the wreckage, a battered shell of herself.
