A Red and Green Rematch: Makie Akamatsu vs Peggy McIntyre

Makie leaned back, teeth clenched as she wrenched hard on Peggy's chin, hearing the Irish girl howl in agony as she poured pressure on her neck and back. Peggy flailed and thrashed under her, but Makie held on as best she could. Around them, the crowd roared, many cheering Makie on, many others urging Peggy to somehow escape.

And it was working: little by little Makie felt her grip on Peggy slipping thanks to the Irish girl's thrashing cursing, Makie slammed Peggy's face against the mat and rolled off of her; shoving her foe onto her back, she would try to drop across her chest and hook one of her meaty legs for a pinfall. In an instant, the ref would be next to them, starting a countdown.

"ONE..."

Peggy groaned as she did escape but quickly had her face smashed off the apron! She was rolled over, limbs flopping lifelessly as Makie went for the cover. Peggy barely moved as the pin count began.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THR-"

Peggy screamed and bucked up, arching her back to bridge out of the pin before flopping back to the mat breathing heavily. She still looked nearly lifeless but she had managed to prevent the pin at that moment. Still, people wondered what if anything she had left in her.

The audience was clapping now as Peggy managed to kick out of the pinfall attempt. Frustrated, Makie slapped at the mat. Peggy was definitely showing a lot of determination tonight; Makie was going to have to work a lot harder to keep her down, it seemed.

Standing up, Makie grabbed two handfuls of Peggy's hair to pull her up with her. Grabbing a hold of her arm, she moved to whip Peggy hard into the corner post; if she managed that then she would immediately follow up by running towards the corner, backlflipping in mid-fun with the aim of slamming back-first into Peggy while she was trapped in the corner!
