A Red and Green Rematch: Makie Akamatsu vs Peggy McIntyre

Makie leaned back, teeth clenched as she wrenched hard on Peggy's chin, hearing the Irish girl howl in agony as she poured pressure on her neck and back. Peggy flailed and thrashed under her, but Makie held on as best she could. Around them, the crowd roared, many cheering Makie on, many others urging Peggy to somehow escape.

And it was working: little by little Makie felt her grip on Peggy slipping thanks to the Irish girl's thrashing cursing, Makie slammed Peggy's face against the mat and rolled off of her; shoving her foe onto her back, she would try to drop across her chest and hook one of her meaty legs for a pinfall. In an instant, the ref would be next to them, starting a countdown.

"ONE..."

Peggy groaned as she did escape but quickly had her face smashed off the apron! She was rolled over, limbs flopping lifelessly as Makie went for the cover. Peggy barely moved as the pin count began.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THR-"

Peggy screamed and bucked up, arching her back to bridge out of the pin before flopping back to the mat breathing heavily. She still looked nearly lifeless but she had managed to prevent the pin at that moment. Still, people wondered what if anything she had left in her.

The audience was clapping now as Peggy managed to kick out of the pinfall attempt. Frustrated, Makie slapped at the mat. Peggy was definitely showing a lot of determination tonight; Makie was going to have to work a lot harder to keep her down, it seemed.

Standing up, Makie grabbed two handfuls of Peggy's hair to pull her up with her. Grabbing a hold of her arm, she moved to whip Peggy hard into the corner post; if she managed that then she would immediately follow up by running towards the corner, backlflipping in mid-fun with the aim of slamming back-first into Peggy while she was trapped in the corner!

Peggy was barely able to keep herself up as Makie yanked her up to her feet. Peggy wobbled as she ran crashing limply against the corner as Makie began running at her. Peggy took a deep breath and rolled to the side, falling to her ands and knees as she shook her head but Makie was going to end up crashing hard against the turnbuckle as Peggy managed to escape any further punishment.

She would try to will herself to stand and reach out to grab Makie and take hold to scoop her up and turn, slamming her down in the middle of the ring as hard as she could!

Everything was going smoothly. Makie was able to spin into a backflip and then launch herself backwards against Peggy, hoping to flatten her against the corner. At the last second, though, Peggy spun out of the way-- and then electric pain shot through Makie's back as she slammed back-first against the corner! A scream of pain escaped her lips, and she rebounded, staggering out of the corner, barely able to stand after the jarring impact to her spine.

And then Peggy picked her up; Makie was unable to resist as she was spun around and slammed back-first into the center of the ring! Her already sore back was flooded with agony at this point, and she arched up, a silent scream escaping her mouth before she flattened to the mat again like a broken marionette...

Peggy looked wobbly as she stood over Makie. She had taken so much at the start that it looked like it was an impossible hole to crawl out of. Still Peggy was going to try. She jumped up, extending her legs and attempted to come crashing down on top of Makie with a big leg drop! She had to make Makie pay. She had to recover too. She hoped that this would work as she would attempt to quickly transition into a headscissor hold to squeeze away at Makie's head while she herself hopefully recovered at least a little....
