Candace 'Fang' Lewis vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez - Nice Meeting You

So, this was a problem. More for him than it might’ve been for Fang, as hard as it was to believe.

For starters, he wanted to win this match. What he was iffy on, however, was doing so in a way that permanently hurt Candace. She was a good wrestler, skilled and fun to take on, no bullshit with cheating or bending the rules. That was rare. That was the kind of thing you didn’t just waist.

But he was afraid, for a while that she might be too stubborn for her own good, and that he might have to resort to methods that were a little more drastic. More extreme.

Lucky for them both, it didn't come to that, as Fang gave up and tapped. Army let up right away, stood up, and hovered over her as the referee called for the bell. ”Good match. You gonna be okay?”

After Fang tapped, the bell rang and the crowd cheered, as she was released from the clutch. She breathed a heavy sigh of relieve from not having to deal with that torturous move. She would get back up, once Army got off her. She heard him commend her for the match, while also asking if she was going to be okay.

"No worries. I've had worse done to me." Fang said with a smile, "That was a really good match. Maybe we can have a rematch in the future?" She would ask this question as she would extend a hand to shake.

It was clear to Army that Fang was not a spoiled sport and rather enjoyed this match. As long as the two of them had fun.

A mixed wrestling match where the guy not only wins, but leaves on good terms with the woman, and nothing sexual happens? Army felt like he was in a parallel universe.

Still, it was a refreshing change of pace, something he could enjoy with no strings attached for once. He reached out and gave her a good shake. ”Anytime, anyplace, you name it. Just make sure you bring something new next time. I like being surprised.”

Army gave her a wink as he parted and made his way through the ropes, eager to head backstage. ”’Til then, take care.”

Fang was happy that Army shook on a good match. Given her more important "past" matches, it was nice not having to deal with jerks. She nodded when Army suggested that she should bring something new for the next time they would fight.

"No problem." Fang said with a nod, "I'm sure there are a few things that can throw you for a loop." With that, the two would make their separate ways as the crowd would cheer.

And LAW continued its night with more matches.
