Bast vs "Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines (c) for the LAW Heavyweight Title

Alaina was losing ground step by step her body shaking g as she pushed back trying to press although she was failing. The knee smashed her abdomen and damn near lift her up off theg round knocking the wind out of her as her legs were stumbling back! Alaina let out a shout as the back peddling amazon was forced back, pressed to against the turnbuckle as she shook her head having definitively lost that contest of strength and now stuck against the corner swinging her fists and knees at Bast to try to escape this bad position she put herself in.

Alaina was proving herself to be an absolutely fearsome opponent. It seemed like the more Bast laid into her, the harder she fought back, as if she always had some hidden reserve of energy to sap from, like she could never run dry. She wasn’t sure if it was fortitude or just sheer stubbornness, but whatever the case, it was working for her.

Bast was thinking that pinning her up against the corner with a well-timed would knock some fight out of her, but she was shown to be wrong and penalized with a shot across the face. More followed soon after, as Alaina tried to fight her way out, swinging like a wildwoman.

Instead of taking them all on, Bast decided to exercise some caution. She stepped out of Alaina’s range, avoiding any future shots, then ducked down and charged straight forward, attempting to spear her up against the turnbuckles and knock some of the wind out of her sails.

Alaina gasped and stomped the mat as she freed herself, slumped in the corner while breathing g heavily. Bast never stopped. She had to outlast this hulking giant somehow.

Bast charged in and Alaina grit her teeth as she rolled to the side letting Bast crash into the turnbuckle! Standing next to Bast the amazon would swing her knee up smashing the abdomen of Bast twice before taking two handfuls of hair attempting to smash the face of the challenger off the turnbuckle as hard as she could as often as she could!

Bast had to admit, this was not the sort of fight she expected from the Amazon. While they were both strong types, she had worked under the assumption that Alaina was a more traditional grappler style, leaning on a steady supply of suplexes and slams. That was undoubtedly there, but she was shocked that the woman was holding her own in terms of pure fisticuffs, actually managing to brawl against her. A wild development, but not one she would shy away from - it was the sort of fighting Bast excelled at, what she had grown up with. She had already lost if this woman wanted to fight her like an animal.

That confidence drove her as she lunged towards Alaina, looking to split her in half with the spear, but she overestimated how winded this woman was. She still had enough energy to avoid the move out of the way, letting Bast fly past and wreck her shoulder against the post. She didn’t stop there, either, as she drove her knees into her midsection, then rammed her face against the turnbuckle for good measure.

Brutal moves. Effective moves.

Bast fell to her knees and rolled under the ropes, slipping under the ropes for a quick retreat. She landed on her feet outside of the ring, but she didn’t stay there, immediately collapsing to a single foot. With her world thoroughly rocked, she needed a second to catch her breath.

Bast was outside the ring, and even though the amazon champion was hurting and gasping for breath she knew she had an opportunity. Alaina grabbed the top rope looking down at Bast wide-eyed as she jumped up, vaulting over the top rope! Alaina was pulling out all the stops and looked to fly, hoping again that Bast did not expect such offense from the nearly 50 year old 187 pound champion! Alaina soared over and was on target, all she could do was hope that the impact was everything she wanted as that would place the two heavyweights outside the ring with Alaina holding the momentum with plenty of ways to come roaring back!

However she also knew there were plenty of ways for the already devastating offense of Bast to work her over horribly as well...

Cersei continued to watch from a safe distance, cursing under her breath as her sister was forced to go into retreat. She had done a good job controlling the bulk of the match, but Alaina simply refused to go down, the old battleship fighting on despite the deck being stacked against her. The crowd found it inspiring, cheering on their aging heroine, but all she felt was annoyance. Why didn’t this fossil have the good sense to stay buried?

Bast would still emerge victorious; she was sure of that, but she needed some time to recoup after taking those hits, and a reprieve on the outside of the ring was perfect for that. She just needed a moment to catch her breath, and she would be safe outside for the time being. Right?

Wrong.

Cersei learned just how wrong when Alaina went skyward, soaring over the ropes. Bast only had time to look up in shock as the Amazon came crashing down on her, smashing into her chest and bringing her down near the announcer’s desk.

Alaina landed on Bast sending her crashing down. Taking down the giantess felt so satisfying. Sure her own body hurt and every move ached but she didn't become LAW Heabyweight Champion by not being able to fight through pain.

Alaina stood up and marched over to Bast, grabbing hold of her. The ground outside was unforgiving and Alaina was close to the fans wanting to feed off their energy. The amazon just had to throw then a bone.

Alaina yanked Bast to her feet by the hair and arm before bending down as she reached out to grab Bast. Alaina strained, groaning and letting out a warcry of a scream as she lift Bast up, straight up overhead with her arms locked out! Alaina held her up a couple seconds before sending her down for a gorilla press slam to show off for the crowd! Sure it was a taxing nove to say the least but the damage to Bast along with the show of amazon strength would shatter that aura of invincibility. Alaina had defended her title successfully against two previously undefeated women. She was hell bent on making it three.

Bast had a long list of moves she was expecting Alaina to pull out, but never in her wildest imaginings did she expect the Amazon to take flight. If her goal had been to catch Bast by surprise, she could call it an unqualified success - there was nothing the Hammer of Africa could do as the woman came down hard on her, bringing them both to the ground in a heap.

And it seemed like she wasn’t done shocking the world, either. Alaina was pulling out all the stops tonight.

Bast, along with the crowd, gasped as the Amazon reached down and proceeded to lift her straight up, holding her overhead in a staggering display of strength. It was just that she was able to press her, it was that she managed to do so and keep her balance for no short amount of time, raising her high even as she struggled. When the ride came to an end, she was summarily dumped back on the floor, landing on her side with a heavy crash that left it numb.

It wasn’t a good place to be, especially with the referee counting behind them. Desperate to get up and get back into the fight, Bast started to push her way up, trying to make some distance between her and Alaina so she could catch a breath. Just one breath.

Alaina heard the official counting and wanted to keep her momentum going. She pulled Bast up and saw the steel steps nearby. Alaina took Bast by the arm, shouting as she stepped towards the steps looking to whip Bast into then as hard as she could! Alaina was not backing down or giving up, she was building momentum. She would need that momentum to topple this giantess but Alaina had shown the fans and Cersei that Bast wasn't invincible. That was half the battle in the mind of the amazon.

Okay, enough of this.

Alaina was rallying, a perilous prospect. Bast was familiar enough with this woman’s history to know what could happen if this got off the rails, so she needed to kill this momentum in the crib before things spiraled even more out of control.

This time, when Alaina came in to follow up, she was ready. The woman stood her up, pulled on her arm, but instead of following through, Bast, spun on her heel and pulled the Amazon along instead, reversing her Irish Whip with one of her own. She twisted hard, pushed her opponent from the back, and attempted to send her hurtling into the very same steps she herself had been aiming for.
