What the fuck just happened?
Willy was still trying to put the pieces together as he lay there, stunned and blinking, his world melting into a mess of pain and confusion. He was still lucid enough to combine the pieces and remember events, but they didn’t make sense on paper. The blue chick had gotten the jump on him, then the smaller one came in, the one he had at least a foot of height on. He should’ve been able to handle her easily, no problem, and yet he was the one on the floor, he was the one getting tossed about, he was the one taking the worst of everything.
None of it connected, and it didn’t become apparent when she came over, grabbed his head, and scooped it up between her knees. She fell over with his neck trapped between her thighs, clamping down, and he found himself experiencing some deja vu all of a sudden. The last time he’d found his head between a pair of thighs like this, things really didn’t go well for BlazeWave.
Theo seemed to have similar thoughts because he quickly rushed in through the ropes and came to Willy’s aid. ”Sorry, but…” He brought his foot down on Shay’s stomach, trying to break the hold before she could get started, getting in before the referee could protect her.

Re: Artistry vs. BlazeWave - Good Vibrations
After witnessing Willy run through Adel, Shay didn't care to play it safe seeing him staggered. Plus, that strange feeling people referred to as being "ticked off" plagued her typically cool head. Sure, in a wrestling match, everyone tried to knock their opponents' blocks off, but Willy had seen fit to pepper his aggression with insults at their expense. The dancer, who had trained to be a patient and cautious wrestler, snagged him between her legs like a woman, held tightly enough that even the few sprigs of hair on his face were tickling her calf, and went to work like a woman with no inhibitions.
It was a far different feeling to squeeze him with ill intent than when sparring with her teammates or even LAW's trainers. Having his head tucked between her legs gave her a rush, an energy, and she directed that energy into her legs, empowering her thick muscles to conform around his head and leave him with no breathing room. At the same time, she leaned back, pulling that calf more tightly under his chin, letting her body stretch across the mat in a display that, unbeknownst to her, might have had the whole front row swooning-
Theo stood above her. Getting caught up in the passion, she hadn't heard his steps carrying him across the ring, and she could only watch and utter a worried "No!" before his foot was buried in her stomach. Shay doubled over as the jolt reverberated through her body and rolled over, freeing Willy's head in the process.
She lay there, nursing her stomach and listening to the ref telling Theo to go back to his corner. Another set of footsteps started striking the canvas, however, and Shay turned her head enough to see Adel come in flying, using Willy's body as a vault, and launching both of her feet at Theo's chest.

Re: Artistry vs. BlazeWave - Good Vibrations
”Booooooo!” Lucy’s voice joined the chorus as the spectators dogpiled on her bandmates. ”Ref, do your job!”
It took no small amount of effort not to burst out laughing at the whole thing, especially seeing Willy on the verge of getting choked out by a woman he could curl with one arm. After all, they’d been here before when they had their little match with Neith in the private room. Seeing her knock him out between those thunderous thighs had made Lucy’s entire year, and she would’ve loved nothing more than a repeat. Alas, Theo had to go and be a good teammate. Kind of sucked.
Her cries hadn't gone unnoticed, as Theo glared her way as soon as he was back on the apron. ”Really? Really?” His face scrunched as he looked down on her like a disappointed parent. ”Who’s side are you on?”
”Who said anything about sides? It’s not like I get paid more if you guys win, I don’t care.” She shifted over to her side and struck her best Venus pose. ”On your left.”
Theo learned what she was talking about a second too late, as he turned about just in time for Adel’s feet to hit his chest and launch him off the apron. He crashed into the water, splattered everyone nearby, then rose to his feet and stumbled over to the barricade, leaning against it while he recovered.
Willy, in the meantime, was taking the chance to get back on his feet and focus on the hurt. ”All right, enough of this shit. Get up.” Her grabbed Shay’s arm and stood, forcing her to rise up along with him. As soon as they were both up, he twisted to the side, pulled her along, and sent her running off hard towards the furthest corner with a solid Irish Whip.

Re: Artistry vs. BlazeWave - Good Vibrations
The displeased groan that poured from Rayna's lips watching Theo stomp Shay in the gut became appreciative laughter when Lucy started tearing into her own bandmate. If this woman didn't already have a winning package as a looker and sweet-talker, she would have won Rayna over for her attitude alone. These boys probably thought they ran the show, but Rayna could tell who truly did- "Oh my God Adeeeeeeel!" The blonde launched back to her feet. No wonder the crowd had gotten louder - Adel had taken flight again.
Rayna could barely keep up with the chaos that ensued. Theo crashed and retreated to the barricade, sending the crowd on that side into an eruption when the water sprayed over them. Adel stumbled and scrambled after her fall, still feeling the effects of the earlier smackdown, but Rayna could tell that she had more in store before the ref could force her out of the ring. Shay couldn't prevent Willy from turning her into a projectile into the corner, but as she slumped on the turnbuckle, Rayna could tell that her sturdy body had taken the kick and the impact of the whip better than Adel had taken the lariat.
"Is this as awesome as it seems to me?" she asked her new friend just before Adel again used the middle rope as a springboard to throw a tangled mass of her own legs at Theo's slumped body. The blonde, whipped into a frenzy, took to the only thing she could think to do as her eyes darted between Willy approaching Shay and the soon-to-be pile of humanity that was Adel and hopefully Theo alongside her - jumping in place like the excitable bunny she was and giving everyone in the vicinity a show.

Re: Artistry vs. BlazeWave - Good Vibrations
This was getting complicated. Theo needed to regroup, focus, and wrap his head around all of this before it grew beyond his ability to control - more than it already had.
Adel launched him with that kick, which took him completely off guard. While he’d just met the woman, she didn't strike him as the type to start a ringside brawl, and the idea didn’t appeal. Willy might’ve had the size advantage against Shay, but that head scissors had been scary. They both knew how dangerous a pair of solid legs could be if they wrapped around the wrong thing. He needed to be on the apron, and needed to give his partner support.
But Adel had different ideas. Theo was making his way up, and he could see that Willy was following up against Shay, hurling her across the ring with that Irish Whip and running after her, dipping down to try and spear her against the pads. A decisive move came from him, and he hoped it worked, but he couldn’t see it. He was more distracted by the blue projectile coming his way.
Adel crashed into Theo and drove him against the barricade so hard that he was almost knocked over it. He flopped forward, fell to his knees, and tried to crawl away from there, hoping to put some more distance between them so he could recover.
The momentum was shifting. Theo could feel it.

Re: Artistry vs. BlazeWave - Good Vibrations
"Zut... Ow."
That was all Adel could muster as the adrenaline died down and she realized lunacy had struck her. It was her hips and thighs that had struck Theo as she flew to the outside, and she had fallen over shoulders-first into the lapping waters. None of it could be called part of her best decision-making of all time, but seeing Shay briefly double-teamed had filled her with sisterly instincts. She supposed she didn't regret any of it, even if her back currently did, and she lay staring at her own feet as they hung over her head.
She could barely see the action in the ring, but she could see Rayna running over, resisting the urge to pull her up. "You alright!?" she asked, and with her prideful nature striking, Adel grunted and pushed herself upright. "Yes, I'm-" The action in the ring caught her attention. Willy stood an arm's length from pounding Shay into powder in the corner, but the dancer, with those educated feet, shifted and twirled just enough that the blow didn't split her in half but instead spun her until she tumbled to the floor.
With Theo down beside her and crawling away, Adel was content that she had done enough and watched Shay trying to shake off the glancing blow and climb with the help of the ropes to get back up... but she couldn't imagine the brute giving her long enough to do that.

Re: Artistry vs. BlazeWave - Good Vibrations
”Boom!”
Willy’s triumphant cry rang out as he crashed into Shay and sent her off spinning. Granted, he hadn't gotten everything with that spear, only landing about half of it, but when you hit as hard as he did, that wasn’t a problem. His 50% was about as good as most people’s 100%. It would do.
He straightened up and turned back to his corner, looking to see if Theo was ready to go for another tag, but no - whatever happened while he was dealing with Shay, his body had come out on the worst end of it, leaving him wrecked at ringside. So he was going alone for a little while, huh? That was fine. Theo was always being too cautious, treating him like he couldn't the job done himself. If ever there was a time to prove him wrong, this was it.
Speaking of which, what should he go for next? Shay was looking wasted, so he had all kind of options. Getting her away from the corner was probably the most important thing, right? Start with that.
He could have just pulled her away from the ropes, but that wouldn’t have been nearly as fun as what he had in mind. Instead, he came at from behind, grabbed her shoulder to spin her around, reached down to grab her chest with one hand and her legs with the other, and proceeded to lift Shay straight off the ground, hoisting her up in a Gorilla Press with ease and marching her back towards the center of the ring, flexing along the way, getting the most mileage out of his beachworthy body.
She wasn’t all that heavy, being honest - more than he would’ve expected, but still easy for him. He just wanted to rub salt in the wound, and play up to the crowd. ”What’s wrong, ladies? Too much for you to handle?”

Re: Artistry vs. BlazeWave - Good Vibrations
Shay's many torso-first landings on balance beams had left her less pained than Willy's shoulder ramming through half of her midriff. "Uuungh..." She held the spot like one might try to hold her rib inside of her body, but better judgment told her to avoid lying on the canvas in a heap. Shay yanked herself until both feet supported her again, and whipped her head around to see if Willy was coming for the follow-up. He was, and Shay started to throw an elbow behind her as a small deterrent that wouldn't do a thing to someone his size. With her burst of righteous energy wearing thin after the trio of blows she had taken, she was starting to understand that she should fear what he could do with her.
But he was not grabbing her from behind. He spun her around like a topsy-turvy top, and she barely balanced on her heels. Her attempts to remain standing would not matter, however. Apprehension hit her when a hand clutched at her chest, and she tried to pull it off before realizing he wasn't trying to cop a feel. Shay had balanced precariously from so, so many heights, but none of that compared to the way he lifted her high above the canvas like she was some trophy bass he had chosen to haul around.
"Nnngh... don't!" she called out, staring fearfully at the canvas far beneath her and the outside of the ring even further beneath that, and she went rigid and held to his wrist. But he didn't have plans to throw her - not immediately. Shay went along for a ride as he strutted to the middle of the ring. And he was still... taunting them. From her embarrassing position, Shay could not quite muster the same indignation as before, even glancing around at the crowd watching her being treated like a kindergartner, but the desire to fall on her own terms proved a great motivator.
She wriggled and writhed and tried to swing her feet as best she could, hoping either that he would drop her where she could catch his head or shoulder with a knee or that she could send a foot swiping across his face.

Re: Artistry vs. BlazeWave - Good Vibrations
That was less than pleasant.
Theo found himself outside the ring, aching and groaning as he suffered from Adel’s assault. He had to give Artistry credit - they hit hard, far harder than he would’ve expected. If someone had read the stats and compared the two teams, they would never have anticipated BlazeWave this much of a hassle.
But, oh well, mission accomplished. He’d wanted to save Willy from getting his head squeezed off, and he saved Willy. So, how had his partner made use of that rescue? What had he done to seize the opportunity he created?
And Willy was lifting up Shay and parading her around like a trophy. Not exactly what Theo had in mind.
”What’s wrong, don’t like the view?” He shifted around as she struggled, keeping her held up and avoiding her attempts to land those flailing limbs. ”Well, all right. Try this one!”
Willy dipped down, then jumped up and tossed her Shay above his head, getting as much height as possible. He kept his arms up and showed off his biceps as he stepped forward, as she came crashing down behind him.

Re: Artistry vs. BlazeWave - Good Vibrations
Rayna could sense the chaos reaching a conclusion. Adel and Theo seemed to be all but out of the match, and though the two in the ring remained relatively fresh, both had taken enough repeated blows that she could imagine neither one would last until either on the outside had recovered to be a factor. Since Adel seemed intact if rocked to her core, the blonde took to sloshing through the water between the downed pair and Lucy on the outside of the ring, nervously chewing her lip as she watched Shay teeter in the air, just as nervous as the dancer about Willy's plans for her.
And his plans were not... quite as bad as Rayna had envisioned. Willy seemed motivated by the idea of making himself look big and bad no matter what - Lucy's trying to take him down a few pegs made a lot of sense. The slam might have been the more devastating move, but watching Shay get propelled into the air gave her hope. The dancer had been this high many times... not from someone else throwing into the air, of course, but from throwing herself there. Rayna made prayer hands in front of her face, watched Shay trying to twist and twirl in the air, and...
Shay didn't land it. Not enough to completely spare herself, anyway, but that made sense - ankles, even Shay's particularly strong ones, could only take so much of a fall. But she didn't land on her head or her back, even if her feet didn't hold her upright. But with Willy showboating, he didn't notice, and even as she winced and held at her feet and shins, Rayna could tell that Shay realized his lack of observational skills, too. "Yeaaaah." Rayna triumphantly whispered, and when Shay fought to her feet and stumbled her way back to a corner.
The dancer breathed, steeled herself, and took off... awkwardly, yes, but it was enough to let her throw herself at the back of the big man's knees.
