Toshiko Ito vs. Vera Sapphire

Toshiko began to push herself up, letting out a loud groan of exertion to force herself up. Her head rung, but she knew she needed to try getting up before Sapphire could build more momentum. She knew she had battered and beaten Vera enough that surely she was downed still.

Lifting her head after she pushed up to her knees, Ito saw her opponent running at her. The Low Lariat smashed into her head and sent Toshiko falling hard straight back, folding at the knees as she lay back. Her eyes were closed tight and Toshiko was feeling that pain as her mind was hazed over in pain. She remained stunned, not trying to push herself at all. The lariat had rattled her significantly after she was surprised with it.

Vera stunned Toshiko hard with her Lariat, and wasn't planning on stopping hammering her down anytime soon! She would grab her rival around her shoulder and between her legs, lifting her up into a Powerslam position...

"I'll show you weak..."

...only to lean forward and then forcibly bend back, trying to throw Toshiko away with a Fallaway Slam, determined to showcase her strength against the Martial Artist!

Toshiko Ito laid on the mat, wanting to pull herself up, but Vera's lariat had kept her down for now. The strike kept her stunned. She had absolutely not anticipated the return of Vera now, nor at this pace. She simply grunted on the mat before she felt herself being pulled up. With impressive strength, Sapphire had Toshiko held in front of her, and Ito didn't even react.

But then Toshiko was thrown up and over with the Fallaway Slam! Her body smashed on the mat and tumbled backwards, rolling across the ring until her body was stopped. She was on her side, limbs sprawled out as she kept her eyes closed tight. Her body shook. Her muscles ached. And she felt awful. Taking ragged breaths, Ito allowed her body to stay there before attempting to do anything with it, currently being thrown around by her opponent she felt like she was ready to pin not too long ago.

With Toshiko thrown backwards with authority, the crowd would cheer the display of strength, Vera standing back up straight and lifting her arms up, showcasing her muscles to the crowd. Vera was still offended by her rival's words as she approached her, before grabbing her foe by her ponytail, forcing her to stand back up to her feet...

...before wrapping her arms around her the Twilight Edge's body, trying to squeeze her with all her might with a Bearhug!

"TELL ME I AM WEAK NOW! I DARE YOU!!!", she screamed as she thrashed her rival around!

Toshiko was struggling now as Vera was taking it to her with a second wind. It wasn't something she could consider right now with the pain in her body taking precedent over any other thoughts or ideas she could have at the moment. She didn't stir though, just trying to reserve her energy until she could fight back. She suddenly felt a tug on her ponytail, letting out a soft cry of pain from being caught off-guard. "Ah!"

She was being forced to her feet now and hoisted up, wrenched into a tight bearhug. Letting out a loud gasp, Toshiko Ito could feel the pain rushing through her body as it felt like popping. Eyes wide in agony over her mask as her arms raised up, clenching the air as she tried to rally her senses. It was hard. It was difficult. The pain was becoming overwhelming. Her air was being sapped from her body as well. Ito needed to act quickly to stop this or else she might be defeated. Her body was shook from side-to-side as she was being furiously yelled at.

But Toshiko was a fighter deep in her core, and she knew how to push herself to act. Gritting her teeth, she then let out a loud war cry, "Raaaah!" And then she held her arm up and began to smash the point of her elbow into the head of Vera Sapphire, unloading on her. She was trying to get her to let her go, repeating the simple maneuver with surgical precision. She wasn't about to let up until she passed out or Vera would be forced to let her go.

Vera continued to walk around the ring with Toshiko in tow, showcasing her strength to the crowd, while looking at her foe with an angry face at her comments. "I am still waiting, Tosh. Ready to take your words ba---AGH!!!"

Taunting her foe, she wouldn't notice her elbow coming from the side, as it was rammed right into her skull! At first, Vera tried to fight through it, but quickly, she felt her arms weakening, quickly releasing the masked woman, as she staggered on her feet, holding the side of her head as she heard ringing in one ear...

The Twilight Edge began to fight back, sending the point of her elbow into Vera's skull repeatedly until she was released. And then, in a moment, Toshiko was dropped, falling to one knee as she sucked in a deep breath, trying to put air into her lungs again. Her arm cradled her midsection, scowling as she tried to blot out the pain. She had to push though. The Japanese Striker put an end to Vera's second wind and was keenly aware she had to finish her off now before she had another chance. But she had just taken a beating. Her body needed time to recover, but Toshiko knew she could afford it.

So Toshiko just began to move, first sending four alternating palm strikes towards Sapphire's midsection, trying to keep Sapphire from coming after her immediately. She wanted to get her double overed as well so she could duck under her arm, wrap her up, and then attempt to throw herself forward in a flip with Vera Sapphire in tow. She was looking to hit the Ranhei maneuver she called Daggerfall, aiming to send Vera into the mat. A harsh maneuver that would be able to add to the pain Vera was feeling by slamming her head, neck, and shoulders into the mat and disorient her further.

With Vera as angry as she was at Toshiko, she was determined to not lose this, determined to prove her rival wrong...

She found her way to her feet...but unfortunately, Toshiko was just a second too fast for her. As she rose, she was met with open-palm strikes to her stomach, each hit precisely for the purpose of leaving the Russian breathless!

"AH! UGH! GUH! KAH!!!"

Doubling over to protect her reddening belly, the Twilight Edge would prepare Vera for her next move...and then swiftly flip her over onto her back with authority, slamming the blunette into the canvas with authority for one of her signature moves!

By this point, Vera had no air left to scream with in pain, simply opening her mouth as she was completely stunned by Toshiko's combo!

Toshiko Ito put her all into the Daggerfall, sending Vera Sapphire onto her back as Toshiko fell over onto her side after the impact. Taking deep breaths, Ito would push herself up and clenched her eyes tight. Her neck ached. Her ribs were sore. Breathing was a pain. But that could all be overcome. She had trained to overcome these things. It was something she could push back until she completed what she needed to do. And for Toshiko, it would be defeating Vera. She just needed to finish her off now.

For the first time in LAW, ToshikoIto grabbed hold of the top of her mask, tugging it down so it rested on her neck as she took a deep breath, revealing her face in full. She wanted that extra air to breathe, not restricted by that fabric of her mask as her brow furrowed. Her teeth her barred while she stared intensely at the mat in front of her. Then, she smashed her hand on the mat a few times and let out a loud roar. "RYYYYYAH!"

Ito pushed back the pain and all struggle to follow through and act now. Getting up as she staggered, she grabbed hold of Vera's arm, beginning to pull her back up to her feet as she ran backwards, trying to use her momentum to get Sapphire upright again. But then, Toshiko would abruptly stop, planting a foot back as she threw a hand forward, stopping Vera from moving and keeping her in the same position for just one moment. And one moment was all Toshiko needed. The Twilight Edge would instantly pivot one one leg, turning and attempting the Twilight Grasp again, aiming to absolutely crush Vera Sapphire with the roundhouse kick now. She needed the win now at this point before things got worse. Toshiko needed to take out Vera Sapphire once and for all.

Toshiko would forcibly pull Vera back up to her feet, as the blunette tried to raise her arms to block anything her rival had in store for her...only for her arms to barely respond to her command. Her movements were sluggish as she looked at her, now maskless rival. As Toshiko swung her leg, Vera grit her teeth...but couldn't help but think how pretty Tosh looked under her mask.

The kick hit. Vera didn't even have the strength to scream as she fell down, like a chopped tree, to the floor. She was still breathing, but looking into her eyes, it was clear to the ref that the blunette was out...
