Army, for all his training, still had a lot of holes in his offense. He was fast for his size, but that still didn't equal up to ‘fast’ by most measures. His technical wrestling skills needed a lot of refinement, and he tended to falter when he was matched against someone who knew their craft. And submissions? Forget about them. Army couldn't pull off anything more advanced than a Boston Crab.

But throws? Oh, he could do throws. He could do throws for days.

Army proved that as he sent Candace on an all-expenses-paid trip across the ring, hurling her away for a nasty crash. He popped up to his feet and saw her trying to do the same, in a more sluggish fashion, the wind knocked out of her.

Vulnerable. Open. Opportunities like this didn’t come along everyday, so he had to seize them when they came. Army took a step back, bounced off the ropes, and came charging towards his opponent at full speed, a runaway frieght train heading straight for her.

This time, Army had something a little more direct in mind - he waited until he was close, then leaped up, shot his leg out, and tried to nail her with a powerful shotgun dropkick, looking to send her hurtling into the nearest corner with all of his momentum behind the blow.

Fang had been slammed good by Army's throw and was slow on the recovery. As she tried to stand, her movements were left sluggish and she was unable to react to Army's shotgun dropkick. The impact was loud and absolute. Fang felt the dropkick slam into her gut, making her gasp, but it also forced her back and slammed her into the nearest corner of the ring.

"Ngh! Guh!" Fang gasped out as she shook her head and waved her hair, so that she could get a good look at her opponent. She grasped the ropes to hold herself up. She took a moment to regain her breath and observed her opponent. From there, she could then plan out her next move.

Now, she could charge right out to get Army, but she had a different idea. This time, she was going to pretend to still be dazed, so that Army would get overconfident and charge at her.

If he attempted to ram her, she would sidestep him at the last second and let him crash into the corner.

Army’s dropkick landed spot on, sending Candace soaring into the corner. He probably should’ve followed up immediately, but screw it - he was feeling in control, he could have a little fun. Instead of rising up the simple way, he decided now was as good a time as any to show off a little trick he’d been working.

From his back, he raised up his legs, drew them in slow, breathed deep, then shot them straight up and pull himself up at the same time - a kip up.

Army rose in an instant, took a bow, then locked in on his foe, watching as Candace tried to get her act together. Kind of impressive that she was able to stand at all after a hit like that. Shame he was about to go and ruin it.

He dashed in, hard and fast, closing the distance with long, powerful stride. As soon as he was close enough, he ducked down, shot out, and sliced her in half with his shoulder, throwing his full weight behind the blow…

…that was what was supposed to happen, at least. Instead, she had to go and mess it up by moving away at the wrong time, leaving him with nothing but a post to crash into. Army’s shoulder slammed into the unforgiving metal, an impact that traveled down his spine, and from there he slumped off the pads and flopped to his back as he reeled from the pain. ”Gonna learn to stop doing that shit, one day.”

Fang's plan worked. Army threw caution into the wind and came at her like a battering ram. The jungle girl timed it perfectly, and just before Army could get her, she slipped right past him at the last possible second. As she did, she heard the hard slam of Army colliding with the corner. She then turned and saw him slump off the pads and fall onto the mat in pain.

This was a good opportunity for Fang to make a move. She considered going for the pin, but she reckoned that despite the pain Army was in, he would be quick to fight against a pin if she tried. So instead, she took the opportunity to lay on the hurt. She moved past the fallen Army and climbed on top of the corner. Turning around to look at Army, who was still on the ground, Fang decided to go for a jump.

She was about to perform the "Leopard Takedown", a corner jump that was timed to deliver a dropkick when Fang's opponent would try to get up.

Maybe it was just his imagination, but Army swore he could hear some laughs coming from the audience, and he couldn't 100% blame them if that was the case. This wasn’t one of his prouder moments - baited into a trap, falling for it hard, winding up on his ass. Not a good look.

But he could make up for it, and had every intention of doing so. He just needed to roll over, push his way up, lock onto Candace, and-

And where the hell was Candace?

Losing sight on your opponent was always a problem, especially when she was as fast as Fang, and Army hurriedly tried to draw a bead on her. By the time he found her, it was too late - she’d take flight, and was coming his way at terminal velocity, feet first.

Her heels crashed into his chest and sent him head over heels, tumbling onto his and rolling off it. He came to a rest on his chest and started to push his way up, butit was slow going, an ungainly process.

Fang's "Leopard Takedown" worked like a charm. The dropkick landed squarely on Army's chest and sent him tumbling to the mat. She, herself, braced herself as she came landing down on the mat. This allowed her to soften her landing so she taken take any unnecessary damage. She rolled up and ended on her fours, almost like an animal.

As Army was sent crashing down and was the slower of the two to be getting up, Fang had the initiative. She noticed that he was still going strong and was not yet ready for a pin. It was time for her, at least Fang thought so, to end this match. As Army was beginning to push his way up, Fang sprinted towards him, but jumped quickly over him and onto the ropes.

She was going to perform a finishing move, the "Tiger's Final Pounce", which was a Quebrada move. She was going to use the momentum of her speed to jump onto the ropes. Then, the momentum would jump her back, make her flip and land directly onto her opponent.

If this worked, and Fang landed the finishing move, she would try to go for a pin to finish off the match.

This was going poorly all of a sudden, wasn’t it? It might have been his first time wrestling Fang, but he knew a finishing pattern when he saw one, and he was getting the distinct, unmistakable impression that she was looking to end this match. Not that he could blame her for trying, he was in a vulnerable position and she would be crazy to let it slip by. But he had no intention of making it so easy.

Army caught sight of her moving nearby, and looked up to see her jumping off the top rope to come flying his way. She was getting good hang time, and that move might been enough to finish him off…if it hit.

It didn’t.

Instead, Army rolled away, narrowly missing her feet when they came crashing down nearby. Not wanting to give her a chance to recover, he quickly scrambled over her back, straddled her waist, and attempted to pull her head upwards, wrenching her back as went for a Camel Clutch.

By the time Fang realized that Army was onto her and moved out of the way, it was too late for her. The Jungle Girl did not have enough time to react as she crashed on the mat with resounding "OOF!" She was now laying on the floor, very unresponsively. It was almost like she appeared to be unconscious after that attempt at a finishing move failed.

Before she could even begin to attempt at getting back up, she felt herself being pinned down by Army's body straddling her. Then, she felt his hands seize her head and pull her back. Her head being pulled upwards in a camel clutch. She gasped in pain as Army managed to turn the tables on her and hold her.

Fang reached up and grabbed Army's wrists with her hands and tried to pull on them; in an attempt to try and pry the clutch apart.

The camel clutch was perfect for a wrestler like Army. He needed to lock Fang down? Check. He needed to sap away her lower body strength? Check. He needed a move so simple that even a chimp could pull it off? Check, check, check.

It was just about everything he could’ve wanted, and it was seemingly doing the job on Candace, keeping her pinned and hammering down her attempts at escape. There was just one more thing he needed: a submission.

”Come on, just give it up.” He pulled her back even further, piling on the pain. ”Trust me, you don’t want to be going around with a bad back for weeks, can tell you how much that sucks. Just tap out, save yourself the trouble.”

Fang had really gotten into a bad situation. Her attempt at a finishing move ultimately backfired and now she was trapped in Army's camel clutch. And it was pretty clear to her that he had no plans of let go and instead letting on the pain. She hissed a bit in pain as she felt Army pulling her head back and bending her upper body in the process.

Now, at first, Fang did try to escape. She gripped on Army's wrists first, then to his fingers, in an attempt to pry the hold off and let her escape. But that didn't work as Army had a secure hold on the clutch. She considered trying to hit Army with an elbow or back-handed fist, but the angle and position was so awkward for her that she couldn't get a good shot.

Ultimately, Fang realized that she could struggle, but all she had now was a dead end to work with. Sure, she could struggle some more, but that meant more pain for her. That, in turn, meant that even if she endured the hold and escaped, the pain would wear her down and make it easier for Army to combat her.

"Yeah....almost got a broken...spine at one point." Fang admitted in between gasps. She decided that was it and she tapped the mat to signify that she surrendered.
