Her strength and skill had always amazed him, yes he was stubborn but so was she! Ryu had openly admitted, to her and to the world that he admired Valley Doll III and that her being at the top level had nothing to do with nepotism. She had her own style distinct than that of her mother and was a great wrestler with or without that moniker. He was truly giving it everything he had and she could tell! He aggressively fought against the choke and scissors by smacking her back against the turnbuckle twice before turning around and dropping her down on her back, yet still she persisted!

Now things were looking bad for Ryu. He gave it his best yet Valley was able to take it and then some more, as she began to squeeze him even harder than before while she was on the mat. Ryu was now panicking, having unable to escape even after his aggressive approach, he was in trouble now that the two were on the ground. His hands began to grab her arms to try and loosen up her grip before moving up towards her chin to push her head back, trying everything he could to loosen the hold but it was no dice!

Ryu's groans grew louder as did his frustration, it was clear that Valley had him cornered and that there was no way out! His muscled body was starting to sweat more now with him desperately flailing about on top of her. "Gugh.....UGHH" he moaned, being....out of ideas now!

Could Valerie win the first fall like this? No. And despite how it may have seemed, she was highly cognizant of that fact. Putting Ryu into this hold wasn’t an attempt to get a submission out of him - stubborn as he was, she doubted that would’ve worked, at any rate.

No, it was more about wearing him down, and it did that job splendidly. She clamped on tight, persisted, and even though he did his best to wear her down, the only thing he did was continue to waste his energy, grinding himself down.

She waited until he was worn before she finally let up on the hold, but that didn’t mean he was out of the woods. As soon as she released him, she pushed him to make some space, drew her legs in, then shot them both at once, striking him hard in the chest with both heels to knock him away.

Ryu was running out of time and ideas, the only saving grace was that a Knock Out would not technically make him lose the first point. However, she could simply knock him out and then go the pin too if she wanted. His brutish approach didn't seem to work on Valley, who countered his thrashing and slams well. The blonde simply didn't let go and challenged him head on, as if she dared him to try and force her to make him let go but whatever he tried didn't work. Now, he was fading fast and the advantage was with the young rookie wrestler, who was wearing the legendary veteran down.

Stretching his hands as much as he could, he tried to crawl on his hands and knees to the corner but Valerie had other things in mind, she would release him but not before drawing her legs back and then springing them forward against his chest to knock him away from her! "Gugh!" he cried out loudly in pain from that kick as he rolled away from her a few steps and ended up face down on the mats.

Ryu started to push up onto his hands and knees but was a little sluggish in his efforts to do so.

After kicking him away, Valerie rolled off her shoulders and came down on her knee, where she took a moment to catch her breath now that she had Ryu reeling. The veteran was putting her through her paces early on, but she was doing a decent job of keeping up the pressure - she just needed to be consistent about.

As he rose up, Valerie rushed in on Ryu, opened her arms, and wrapped them around his waist from above, pulling him up tight against her chest and clutching him. He wasn’t light by any means, but she knew she could pull this off - she gritted her teeth, hunkered down, and proceeded to haul him off the canvas.

She planted her feet, hurled him upwards, then proceeded to arch her back and send him flying with a Gutwrench Suplex.

With the fight now sapped away from him a little bit, Ryu was finding it hard to get back in this match. He went in too fast and burned himself out too quick, now it remained to be seen if he had what it takes to survive his opponent's onslaught. After being kicked in the chest to force him back a few distance as Valerie released him from the submission, it was now time for the blonde to go on the attack. As soon as Ryu got back up to his feet, she would rush towards him to wrap her arms around his waist and pull him in against her chest. "Nrgh!" he grunted, feeling the right grip as he was caught in her trap.

In an instant, she would heave and pull him up off his feet as she arched her back and slammed him down as hard as she could in a amazing Gutwrench suplex! "GUUUUUUGHH" he let out a loud moan as he was slammed down on his side and eventually he rolled over onto his back, laying sprawled out on his back.

Yes. Yes. Valerie was starting to feel it.

The adrenaline was kicking in now, and she was entering the special stage of the match where she could feel the blood flowing when her body was ready to cut loose. After she launched Ryu, she stood up and rolled her shoulders, staying loose. It was tempting to come after him and go for a pinfall, but she didn’t think there was a good enough chance of it working - there wer more productive ways to wear him.

She moved in, grabbed Ryu by the head, pulled him upwards and forced him to stand whether he liked it or not. As soon as he was up, she ducked down, rammed her shoulder into his stomach, and proceeded to charge forward, hammering his back up against the nearest turnbuckle with enough force to make the ring shake. She’d even keep him pinned there for a moment, grabbing the ropes for supports a pressed her shoulder even deeper into his breadbasket.

Her goal? Simple: Take all the air out of him. If he couldn’t breathe, he couldn't fight.

Ryu was frustrated now, no- in fact, he was panicking. He had to do something to stop Valerie's momentum but for now she was all over him. The 19 year old was all guns blazing and the veteran pro was running out of steam. He had to slow the pace of the match down or somehow knock her down otherwise she would just gas him out and in a endurance test like this, he had to conserve as much as he could. He cursed himself now for his reckless start of the match, he had put all his eggs in one basket for a quick all out assault that had failed and now he was paying the price.

Valerie would reach down to grab his head and pull him back up to his feet. Not a moment later, she would lean down and then ram her shoulder into his abs for a shoulder thrust before bullying him into the corner. "GUUUUGHH!" he cried out when his back hit the turnbuckle, making the ring shake. He felt her shoulder dig into his abdomen as she held onto the ropes on the side of the corner and continued to push. "AAHHHHHHH" he howled in pain before doubling over on her back, arms dangling on his side next to her.

The crowd were stunned and silenced, Valerie was out-classing the legendary wrestler. The referee was a bit concerned now, he knew Ryu from long ago in his prime and this didnt seem right. He would move over and try to force Valerie to break up. "Hey hey break it up, back it up kid" he said, trying to admonish her for no real reason.

Harder. Stronger. Deeper.

Valerie kept the pressure up on Ryu, even as she felt the air leaving his body, even as she felt him giving way. A part of her wanted to ease up, telling her she shouldn’t be so hard on the older wrestler and show him respect - but what could be more respectful than giving him her all?

Luckily for Ryu, it wasn’t just her decision to make. Tempting as it was to keep him in the corner, this wasn’t that sort of match, and the referee’s words held sway. She backed away at his insistence, giving her opponent the room he needed to breathe.

As much as she wanted to go back on the attack, she respected the referee’s wishes and moved over to the center of the ring instead. Crouching over, she beckoned him on once more and slipped into her grappling stance, ready to put him down again.

No holding back, not this time. He’d asked for this.

Valerie was keeping up the pressure, she was unrelenting and would continue to push harder, strong and deeper against him until he would bend over and lay across her back. This was perhaps a low point in the veteran's career. Having a referee have him bail out of a tight spot was not on the list of his career accomplishments when he would finally would hang up the boots but here we are. The blonde would accept the referee's instructions and would back away up and move over towards the middle of the ring.

Ryu would slump down onto his knees, clutching his midsection in pain while coughing a bit. Sweat dripped off his body onto the mat as he was panting heavily. The referee noticed the struggling veteran and decided to intervene once more. Turning to Valerie, he would approach her while snapping his fingers before pointing to the corner. "Hey hey kid! I told you back up, to your corner. Now" he would say, looking slow this match up. The crowd began to boo heavily at this, as they sought that the referee was making this match about himself as refs often to do in a soccer game!

He would then walk over to Ryu and get down on his knees to see if he could continue. "Tch, I'm fine. I can go on...." he said in a low growl before getting back up to his feet, although looking a bit shaky. He would shake his head and then crouch a bit, raising his arms up to enter in a grappling stance as he was ready to wrestle once more. "Come on! Is that all you got huh?" Ryu beckoned her, despite having his ass saved by the referee moments ago.

Keep calm. Don’t make it personal. Wrestling was a competition, nothing less and nothing more.

Valerie tried to abide by that train of thought, remembering all the horror stories her mothers told her about feuds in LAW. Matches that got too personal and spiraled into some multi-match kerfluffle, affecting their personal lives, causing injuries, and shortening careers.

That was never the wrestler Valerie wanted to be. But, at the same time, she couldn't help but feel a tad cross when Ryu persisted in goading her, and even more so when the referee called her ‘kid’ and ushered back to the corner. Her face scrunched up, ticked off, but she kept it all bottled up for the moment and acquiesced, returning to the turnbuckle.

It took him a moment, but he got himself back together and ushered her back in, talking like he wasn’t the one who’d gotten laid out a moment ago. For her part, Valerie just huffed. ”Not even close.”

He wanted her, so he’d get her. She came out fast, charging him down with arms up, as if she were going for a tie-up. At the last second, however, she leaped up, shot her legs out, and tried to nail him in the chest with a shotgun dropkick, looking to put him on his back once again.
