Rising Star? Mikasa Takeuchi vs. Vida Fenix

Vida bounced off Mikasa’s chest, rolling back off the knee. The crowd was starting to come alive, seeing what had looked like it was about to be a quick squash match suddenly and unexpectedly turn into a competition. The young luchadora rolled backward and got up onto unsteady feet, staggering a little bit as she got her footing under her. Vida was flying high now, but before that she had taken a monumental beating, and her body was screaming at her to rest. Still, Vida knew she had to ignore all of that, if she was going to have a chance!

Backing off, Vida sized up her opponent and mentally rifled through her options. She needed to capitalize in a big way, here, and Mikasa writhing in pain on the mat was the best opening she was going to get. The young luchadora’s legs tensed, getting steady once again before she rushed into her next attack. In a full-sprint run, Vida flew at Mikasa shot forward with a lunging shin-kick, her leg aimed square at Mikasa’s face with a flash shining wizard!

Mikasa was sitting up, holding her chest in pain. She huffed shaking her head and said, "Good... Look at you... There is something in there. Someone worthy of beating! But you need more than that!" Closing her eyes tight to deal with that knee drop, she would brace herself for what may come next. A big move, perhaps. Something to show off more of Vida's speed. Or would Takeuchi be able to counter and come up with her own offense now?

As Fenix moved fast, Mikasa was still trying to recover, trying to figure out what exactly this girl was about to do. Her pace promised nothing good though. The redhead wasn't ready for that speed to come at her though, and in a few more moments, her head got rocked by the Shining Wizard! Toppling back with impact, the Lightning Crasher was on her back, sprawled out! Her head throbbed now! It was Vida's opportunity to try sealing a win on the newcomer now!

“HAI!” Vida cried out, as her shin slammed into Mikasa’s face! Momentum carried Vida over her opponent’s body, coming down on the mat right behind her as she followed through on the shining wizard. Landing on her side, Vida twisted to look back over her shoulder, seeing Mikasa splayed out on her back. Vida’s eyes widened, and she scrambled to get up and make a cover! Hooking a leg, Vida lay down across Mikasa, belly-to-belly, and pressed her arm into the mat to secure a pin.

“ONE!”

“Come on …” Vida moaned, hoping the referee would hurry up and make the count already. Heart pounding, body trembling in anticipation, Vida prayed that her kick had been enough to do the job. The hurt of the beating that she’d already taken was settling in, and Vida knew that the longer this match went, the more it favored Mikasa. But if she could seal the deal here and now …

Mikasa Takeuchi was down and feeling the effects of Vida's knee in her face. And it looked like Fenix was ready to try putting an end to the match, throwing her body on top of the Lightning Crasher, wanting to get the win on the newcomer! Mikasa grit her teeth as she heard the pin start.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

But Mikasa kicked out, shoving Vida hard and rolling to her side. She planted one hand on the mat to push herself up, groaning. "Good... You got something in you then... Something worthy of beating... Make this thing look competitive..." stated Takeuchi, moving her other hand to rub at her aching face. She had managed to kick out, but she wasn't about to follow up quite yet. She needed a moment to recover, and she was going to force Vida Fenix to act first. Mikasa needed to come up with a way to take Vida out now.

“Come on, come onnn …” Vida groaned, begging the referee to get to a third count and end this match. Vida’s heart was racing, thinking of the massive upset it would be if she could secure a pinfall and put and end to this match here and now. Fighting back from the devastating hits she took early on, rushing the woman who’d manhandled her, pinning her down …

“Whoop!” Vida gasped as Mikasa tossed her off to break the pin. “No!” Vida cursed, pounding the mat with her fist as she realized she’d lost the pin. Vida staggered up to her feet, not wanting to rest or sit still when she had the advantage. However, the rush was catching up to her, and her body was still feeling the slams she’d taken up to this point. Still, Vida picked her tights out of her butt, took a few steps to the ropes, then broke into a full run. Bouncing off the ropes, tension flinging her back toward the center of the ring, Vida decided to throw herself into another shining wizard in hopes that this one would do the job!

Panting, Mikasa was pushing herself up to one knee, holding her head. The Lightning Crasher knew she couldn't let Vida Fenix get too much closer to a win, or else it may seal her fate. She knew Vida would be eager to finish things on this end--probably desperate to if her record reflected her desire to win. Takeuchi would wait, picking her head up as Vida went racing towards her. Sucking in a quick breath, she knew she had to act.

She wouldn't be caught by that twice--certainly not. As Fenix threw her knee towards Mikasa, the redhead caught the leg, holding onto it tight. "And that is where you screwed up, little girl. And you're going to look back and regret it," stated Mikasa bluntly. She winked at her before raising up with that leg hooked and then grabbing Fenix around the head with her other arm. And then, she would drop straight back down the the Sky Fall, looking to plant Vida's head directly into the mat with her Fisherman's Buster! A devastating suplex drop that helped Mikasa dig into her arsenal.

Vida threw everything she had into rushing at Hikaru, praying that this next strike would be enough to finish her opponent off and net her a major win. Vida knew she was fighting from behind, here, having taken so much abuse early in the match that this opportunity itself was a minor miracle. Vida lunged in, throwing her knee up, trying to aim the strike just past Hikaru’s head … only for the lightning crasher to catch her leg mid-strike!

“QUE!?” Vida gasped, eyes widening in shock as her momentum was brought to a crashing halt! The luchadora tried to pull back, but she was firmly in Mikasa’s grip, trapped. “NONONONO!!” Vida cried out as Mikasa rose, pulling Vida’s head in and tucking her into a tight ball. Staggering, legs spread, Vida felt helpless and started to panic. Body compressed, legs spread by the hold, Vida got her body lifted high up into the air, put on display in Hikaru’s grip, before she was brought crashing down.

“AAAAAGH!” Vida screamed as her head hit the mat. A shockwave went through her body, stunning the lithe luchadora. In an instant, Vida felt like her body had shut down. Her momentum gone in an instant, Vida went limp. Her arms and legs sagged, and her eyes shut. When released, Vida would flop to the mat, breathing shallow, moaning in misery.

The Sky Fall was completed with perfect form, as Mikasa planted Vida onto her head with the punishing move. Takeuchi would sit back up, briefly rubbing the side of her head before smirking. She was very satisfied she caught Fenix and put her head into the mat like that. "Well... I think we're just about done here. But thank you for putting up at least a little bit of a fight... but you should have done far, far better," said the Lightning Crasher, rolling over to grab Vida Fenix by her head.

"But think of it as a learning experience... On how you can be a better performer in the future. Or at least a better punching bag, as it turns out," Mikasa Takeuchi stated smugly, pulling Vida to her face before crossing her opponent's arms in front of her and then tugging her head under her arm. And then she got together her strength so she could hoist Vida up into the arm by her arms, holding her up in a Cross-Arm Suplex position... and after a few moments showing off her opponent's body, Takeuchi would then drop straight down, finishing it with a Brainbuster and completing her Synaptic Overload move! A completely head shattering move that would threaten to knock out Vida entirely! She figured that might be enough to take Fenix out in this match completely now!

“Uuugh,” Vida moaned, her voice a high-pitched whimper as she lay there and took her verbal thrashing from Mikasa. Vida draped an arm over her face, the only action she could muster. She frowned, knowing that Mikasa was right. There was no excuse for the beating she’d taken tonight. She’d had one flash of offense this entire match, and she’d truly believed she could have won … and a better wrestler would have. Vida felt like an abject failure, so much so that she offered little resistance as Mikasa peeled her body off the mat, crossed her arms, and tucked her head in for the suplex.

Vida braced herself, but she was a mess. Head in agony, her tights riding up her ass, Vida looked ready to be finished. She went up into the air, her body on display for the fans one final time before Mikasa brought her crashing down! The ring rocked, and Vida’s skull bounced off the canvas. The impact knocked all consciousness from her body, her figure bouncing off and letting off a single, involuntary spasm as she lay flat on the mat.

Vida’s eyes were shut. Her arms flopped limply at her sides once she was released, and her legs were spread eagle across the canvas. Her figure looked to be begging to be pinned to the mat, her sweaty skin and disheveled appearance showing the toll this match had taken on her. Vida’s face was exhausted, pained, and clearly miserable. It was over, her body screamed at her. There was nothing left in her to fight with.

Mikasa Takeuchi's move had completely flattened and forced Vida Fenix into unconsciousness as she lay there after her latest suplex. It was one meant entirely to keep Vida down now and put her away. Sitting up after the move, Mikasa had a smugly satisfied smile on her face as her opponent laid behind her. "Well... that's that, I guess," said Takeuchi as she crawled to Fenix's side, surveying her handiwork for one more moment. Vida certainly knew how to look good losing.

Placing her hands on Vida's chest and stomach, she propped herself up with a wide grin as the referee dropped down to count the pin!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

The bell rang as the Lightning Crasher's theme song played and Mikasa sat up on her knees, looking extremely satisfied with herself. A few moments later, Kazuko Ito raced into the ring and then pounced on top of Mikasa, giving her a hug from behind! The pair celebrated while Toshiko remained ringside, arms crossed and looking put off by the celebration by her two stable mates.

Mikasa would stand with Kazuko as Kazuko held up her hand high! Takeuchi took a bow and said, "Thank you! Thank you very much! More impressive match ups to come, I promise!"

Letting out a deep sigh, Mikasa would look down at Fenix, reaching into her own pocket. "Oh Vida... better luck next time. There's a market for good losers like you though. Give me a ring if you want to lean into it and make money," explained Mikasa with a grin. She would then take the business card from her pocket and stuffed it in her mouth before standing upright again.

After another bow, Mikasa would finish her celebration and walk backstage with her stable mates, no doubt looking to continue the celebration backstage with her winning debut completed!
