The Dominion vs. S+M - Foolish Pride

As Morrigan bolted around the corner, all full of piss and vinegar, she’d half expected Derek to head for the hills. That was the typical response when you saw a 6 foot 2 Irish freight train heading towards you, but apparently, he hadn't gotten the memo on that and stood his ground. Not that she minded in the least, as she was happy introducing her knuckles to his jaw at ramming speed.

The blow connected and landed clean, and the bastard folded like a house of cards in the wind. ”Fucking serves you right, arsehole!” She spat on him as she loomed large. ”Now, get the fuck up so I can-”

Morrigan had all kinds of dark plans for Derek, but the world wouldn’t get to see them - not yet, anyway. She had only begun to move in on him when his partner came soaring out of the ring as a human missile, crashing down on Morrigan from above, a hit that sent her reeling. She smashed up against the barricade and flopped down to her back, groaning and hissing and cursing all the way ”Fucking shitheads!”

As bad as her situation was, it had given Sabine some time to recover, an opportunity she was making good use of. She took the time to grab the ring apron and pull her way back up, rising to her feet and doing her best to shake off the grogginess. It was far from an ideal start, but it would take more than that to derail her entirely.

All hell was let loose now, with all four wrestlers down and out on the outside of the ring. Trent would move over from the bottom end of the ramp towards ringside now, standing next to the steel steps closest to the action. He would move over and tug on Jacob's arm, with him being the legal man and needing to get back up and into the ring in order to beat the ten count of the referee. The referee had already gotten to the count of "THREE....FOUR!" while all of them were still recovering. Eventually though, it was Sabine and Jacob who would start to rise back up to their feet although Jacob did have some help from his leader.

The middle member of the Dominion group would then slowly slide back in the ring, just beating the count. "Come on, get back up" Trent would say to Derek, grabbing him by the shoulder to pull him back up to his feet as he dragged him back to the Dominion's corner. "Shake it off, it was just one shot" Trent scolded him as Derek listened on and shook his head before slowly and gradually looking to take his place back up on the ring apron.

Jacob meanwhile took that time to recover, looking to turn his attention back towards Sabine.

Sabine grabbed the rope and made her way back in, but she didn’t go back on the attack straightaway. She liked to think she was a woman who could learn from her mistakes, and if that little exchange had taught her anything, it was that going after these men on their terms was a fool’s errand. She could hold her own against them via traditional means, yes, but if they would use trickery to outfox her, then she would have to rely on more brutish means. That would suit Morrigan perfectly, but her partner was recently deposed. The task fell squarely to her for the time being.

It wasn’t one she would shy away from, however, knowing how important the initiative was at this moment. The smart move would’ve been to hold back, take her time, recoup and regroup, but that was also predictable, and she needed some spontaneity.

Instead of hanging back and playing safe, Sabine charged forward and moved in on Jacob, pressing her offense. While she wasn’t the best striker by any means, not close to Morrigan’s level, she wasn’t without some experience and she employed it now as she lashed out with a solid right cross, a stiff blow aimed at the face.

In all the chaos, the two legal wrestlers would benefit as Sabine would take the time given by her partner to recover and Jacob would slide back in the ring to let Derek take the full wrath of Morrigan. Of course, Trent would get in the action indirectly and help Derek up to get him back in the corner while the referee tried to take control of the situation. Once the disruption was over, the action continued in the ring where Sabine and Jacob were ready to square off once more.

She would charge forward and move in, smacking his face with a blow to his face. "UGH!" his head turned to the side with spittle flying off his mouth and he staggered back. Not one to shy off from a slugest, Jacob would look back at her with his eyes fired up in anger and would tighten his fist, looking to send a swinging right hook of his own aimed towards her jaw for some payback!

As satisfying as it was to punch Jacob in the face - and it was deeply satisfying - Sabine knew this kind of thing was a losing strategy, and she was proven right when he retaliated. She had only begun to move in for a followup, rearing back for the heavy blow, when he let loose with a cannon shot of her own, one that caught her flush as the face. She was no stranger to doling out pain and taking it in equal measure, but this was a strike from a full grown man with no small size advantage over her: the only place to go was down, and down she went.

Sabine dropped to one knee, stunned, and she might have stayed there for longer if not for Morrigan calling her out at ringside, as she crawled back up to their corner. ”Yo, Sab! Get your ass up!”

None too subtle, but effective - it gave Sabine enough of a shock to keep her ankored in reality, at least. Knowing her time was too short to rise back up, she figured it was best to just stay down and use that to her advantage. She flopped on her back and shot her leg straight out, trying to kick Jacob in the knee and force him to fall back, maybe even bring him down to her level. She was much more confident in her grappling skills than her striking, after all, and she relished the chance to show these men up with a ground game.

After all the chaos that happened in the ring, leading out of the ring, the legal wrestlers were now back inside and ready to slug it out. Face to face, Sabine would clock Jacob in the face with a stiff strike and while normally it would be quite ungentlemanly like to strike back, Jacob had no problem in rearing his arm back and delivering the strike right back at Sabine who went down on the mats. Jacob grinned and performed a double bicep pose, kissing the bicep of the arm that took down his opponent.

Meanwhile, Sabine rose to a knee and looked daze. Her partner called out to her while Jacob approached Sabine, looking to grab her head to pull her back up when suddenly she fell back and kicked her feet at Jacob's knee. "UGH" he grunted, the knee-jerk reaction caused an awkward stumble on his part, making him fall down on his back. He rolled over onto his side, curling up and clutching his knee in pain. "Damn...dammit" he cursed, sounding really hurt. He tried to crawl to his corner, looking for a tag!

It might not have been one of Sabine’s most dignified moments, but her little trick got the job done - both of them were on the floor now. While she would’ve been content to roll around with Jacob and gotten the better of him then and there, he seemed more focused on making his way over to his partner and swapping back in, which was precisely the last thing she wanted at the moment. Tempting as it was to try and keep him down, she knew what the more sage move was.

As he crawled one way, she went the other, dragging herself along the mat, further and further, reaching out, and…

”Fucking A!” The Morrigan slapped hands with Sabine, leaped over the ropes, and came uncomfortably close to stomping on her partner in her rush to get into the ring. Undeterred, she bounded across the ring at full speed, looking to level whoever was legal when she arrived at the opposite corner.

The two boys strategy was simple, take them out one at a time. The one thing that they wanted to avoid was getting to face Morrigan rather quick in the match. They would have preferred to take out Sabine altogether before Morrigan would have been had a chance to get in the ring. Jacob and Derek were sure that they could take on the large powerhouse on their own but right now the last thing they wanted as a hot tag for the powerhouse wrestler. "Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit!" Jacob said with his eyes widened while he crawled backwards on his ass while he saw Morrigan enter the ring.

He looked back over towards Derek, who would point him in the direction of the two females. It was clear that the youngest member of the faction had no interest in tagging in right now. Jacob would get back up to his feet. "What? you dont want to tag in??" he said to Derek before he turned around, watching the ongoing Morrigan charging at him at full speed and knocking him back down!!

"Guuuuugh" he cried as he fell to the canvas.

And down he went. Like pins to a bowling ball.

Jacob - she was about 50% sure that was his name - wasn’t a small dude by any measure, had a fair degree of muscle going, on but there wasn’t much her could do when over two hundred pounds of raging Irishwoman slammed into him at ramming speeds. He took a hard header, ass-over-teakettle, and judging by the way he wallowed, he wouldn’t be getting up for a moment.

For her part, Morrigan took a moment to savor her handiwork, always loving the sight of a man on his back in pain. But she wasn’t done yet. ”Hey,” She winked towards Derek. ”Watch this.”

The Morrigan stepped back into the ropes and bounced off, picking up some speed as she went. She waited until she was close to Jacob, then leaped up, kicked her legs up, and let her back come down on his chest with all her weight, nailing him with a senton.

This was not good at all. In a perfect scenario, the boys would have kept Morrigan at bay and not let her tag in but no one really remembers the last time when a tag team partner in a tag match was never tagged in. As Morrigan got the hot tag, she would run and knock Jacob done with a running shoulder like, simply bulldozing her way to knock him down!

Derek would look at the action and was visibly afraid while she woud wink towards the youngest member of the group and tell him to watch what she had in store next. "Uh y-yeah sure" he would say before Morrigan would step back to the ropes and and bounce off them, gaining momentum and then leaping up to come down on top of the downed male!

"Guuuuuuuugh!" Jacob would cry out in pain, coughing violently as he was left flattened under the Irishwoman.
