Thunder Ryuko and Emily Nelson vs. SA-KI and Zero Kotobuki - Stand Tall

”Fucking finally!”

The referee couldn't see what happened from where she stood, but SA-KI could make it out, and she saw it as the opportunity it was. Zero had taken a nasty fall from Thunder, but she had the advantage of being able to see at the moment. It was the best window she was getting.

Groaning, Zero rolled over to her back and began to crawl towards the corner, while SA-KI stood on the top rope and reached over. ”Come on, come on!”

Aching as she was, there was only so fast she could move - whether she made the tag would be a matter of how soon Thunder Ryoko recovered.

Ryuko saw Zero crawling towards her corner and as Ryuko regained her vision she realized she was too far out of place to stop it. Instead of a failed attempt to grab Zero she opted to move in but she would instead try to be pouncing on on SA-KI as she climbed through the ropes with some punches and knee strikes! Ryuko wanted to try to play this smart hoping that her more calculated response caught the newcomer off guard however there was the chance that things still ended poorly for Ryuko....

Closer, closer, closer…

”Come the fuck on you deaf-mute, get over here!”

Zero shot her a quick glare, before continuing her silent crawl to the ropes, closing the gap between them. She leaped up, slapped hands, and just like that, SA-KI was into her first match on LAW. Full of venom and vigor, she slipped through the ropes, marched forward…

…and wound up eating a punch from Thunder Ryoko. ”Shit!”

She growled as she was knocked back, but she wasn’t about to get bullied around the ring - that was her job. Irritated and annoyed, she threw herself forward and launched a punch of her own at Thunder Ryoko’s face, before following it up with an uppercut aimed at her stomach. ”You want to brawl, Thunderbitch? Come on!”

Ryuko's head whipped to the side as she took the hit and she stumbled before the uppercut smashed her! She doubled over and moaned in pain while she shook her head. "Oh shut up you cocky bitch!" Ryuko hissed back trying to swing her leg up as she stood hoping to catch SA-KI with a toe kick to the abdomen followed by a hard clothesline but Ryuko's movements were a little bit slower as the hits she just took rocked her good.

That felt good, real good. It had been far too long since SA-KI had gotten in the ring and cut loose. Yeah, she’d sparred with the other Fallen Angels, but that didn't compare to this - throwing down hard with someone who would give back just as hard and who truly had it coming.

And Thunder Ryoko? Oh, she had this coming. For a long time, in fact.

SA-KI was moving in for the follow when her opponent surged back up, lashing out with a kick that struck her clean in the stomach. It knocked her back, but only for a moment, before she gritted her teeth hard, rushed forward and swung her arm for a fierce clothesline…

…at the exact same moment that Ryoko was doing the same.

The two women clashed, landing blows at the same time, filling the ring with the sound of clapping flesh. For SA-KI’s part, she was knocked back against the ropes, stunned for a moment, but she quickly found her footing and turned back to Ryoko with a snarl. ”That the best you got, you little shit?”

Ryuko was smashed and stumbled back just barely staying up on her feet! She shook her head and glared back at SA-KI while shaking her head. "Oh shut up, like you are anything other than some cheap shot mongrel." Ryuko said as she tried to step back up to SA-KI. The thunder empress would step back up and quickly kick at the side of SA-KI's leg a few times before leaping up to try to surprise her with a dropkick! This could work out well for Ryuko.... but it could also potentially backfire terribly!

Thunder Ryoko was a strong opponent, no one was taking that away from her, but if she thought she could demoralize SA-KI was namecalling, she was way out of her league. She’d been called way worse things than ‘mongrel’ in her time as a wrestler, so it was all water off the duck’s back. ”You’re about to see what this mongrel can do, you little-”

She was about to drop a C-bomb, when Thunder Ryoko cut her off by rushing forward and assaulting her legs with a flurry of kicks, making her wince with every hit. The final hit was what sent her reeling, though, a dropkick at point blank range that hit with enough impact to launch SA-KI off her feet. Ryuko smiled as she looked back to her corner giving Emily a nod. The thunder empress marched to SA-KI and grabbed her by the arm looking to whip her across the ring towards Ryuko's corner near Emily. Ryuko wanted to rush in and clothesline SA-KI against the turnbuckle as hard as she could and if successful would look to reach over and tag Emily back in for her turn of fun in between the ropes again.

It was one thing to have watched Ryuko's matches; it was another entirely to see the woman in action as her tag team partner. Thunder Ryuko was, quite simply, amazing, easily handling Zero and then recovering quickly to demolish SA-KI. To say that Emily was impressed was an understatement: she was now regretting that she had never before had a chance to fight the woman in the ring. Perhaps, after all of this was done, there might still be a chance for that...

Smiling at Ryuko as the Thunder Empress tagged her in, and she strode over towards where SA-KI was sagging on the ropes. "I don't think we had the chance to acquaint properly back in the old league," she told the masked women as she grabbed for her head with both hands. "Let's rectify that, shall we?"

And without a further word, Emily would snag SA-KI's head under one arm, slide another around her thigh, and lift her up...keeping her elevated for a few seconds before dropping down to nail the masked girl with a thundrous suplex!

SA-KI had only just stepped into the ropes, and was just getting her bearings, when Thunder Ryuko came, well…thundering in and beat her to the punch, clobbering her up against the corner, cutting her off before she could get any momentum. By the time she recovered, the moment had already passed - now, she had Emily to deal with, and the Scotswoman was already on the warpath.

”Didn’t want to know you.” SA-KI grumbled back as Emily came for her. ”You always seemed like a bitch.”

Harsh, but true. Emily always struck her as one of those stuck-up, snobby wrestlers, the kind that always looked down on her because she had a gimmick and liked to play a little loose with the rules. She had little patience for most people, but definitely none for people who acted like wrestling was some kind of holy sport, untouchable and unimpeachable.

That wasn’t to say that Emily was lacking in the skill department, however, and she showed as much when she came over and pulled her into a hold, lifting her up with disturbing ease. One of her legs was seized, but her arm remained free, and she used it to throw a couple of quick punches into her foe’s face - it wouldn’t stop her from crashing down, but she hoped to make Emily pay for the privilege.
