That was a good hit. Strong. Impactful. Bast made sure to sink it in deep, wanting to really drive her knee home for maximum damage. As tough as Tina was, the strength and endurance advantages were still firmly in her favor, and if she continued to press them, she was sure to run straight over the smaller woman.
That being said, it would take more than knees to finish off an opponent as defiant and stubborn as this. She needed something decisive and powerful. She needed her Sandstorm.
As Tina leaned over, she reached over, wrapped her arms around the woman’s waist, lifted her up and flipped her about so that her back came down on her right shoulder, folding her in half with a Canadian backbreaker rack, pulling her down for the first half of her signature move, stretching her out and putting all the pressure right on the middle of her spine.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
Tina groaned as she was lift up and she didn't stay up for long, but the hard landing made her wish that she did. Tina howled as she came crashing down across the knee of Bast and then the pressure after didn't help! "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Tina howled as she tried to punch and elbow at Bast while using her other arm to push or struggle against Bast pressing her in half across her knee! Things we spiraling out of control and Tina knew she needed to fight back but at the moment she was simply struggling to survive.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
Just lift her up, swing, and it would be all over. It had been a while since Bast had hit this move on anyone, preferring to stick to strikes for the most part when it came to racking up the damage, but she knew the move’s potential. It was more than capable of ending any match, especially against an opponent with a sizeable difference of strength. Nothing against Tina, but she didn’t seem like the type that could take a heavy hit like this and keep going, not when a fair bit of damage had already been applied. Good as she was, this would end things.
If she landed it. If.
Tina’s elbows had a different opinion on the matter, as they came down hard right on her face. She tanked the first one well enough, the second was a pian, but the third hit with enough impact to leave Bast stunned, and she was forced to drop Tina in a heap behind her as she tried to shrug off the heavy blow.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
Tina dropped to the mat and groaned, rolling away from Bast. Tina was close enough to the ropes to reach up using them to pull herself up to her feet. She was gasping and struggling but she couldn't let Bast get to her that quickly already. Tina grit her teeth and knew Bast would come giving her an idea. If Bast charged in she would drop and pull the top rope with her to send Bast out of the ring, but if Bast took her time Tina would last out with a swift kick to the abdomen, trying to cover whichever situation happened if she was fast enough...

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
Even over the roar of the crowd, Bast could hear her sister’s boisterous groan, making a surprising amount of noise for someone her size. ”Are you kidding me?” She smacked the mat and leaned in under the ropes, almost looking like she would slide into the ring for a moment. ”Bast, stick to her, keep it up!”
She didn’t need the reinforcement, but Cersei was right - she had to press her advantage, had to keep this up, and had to close in Tina before she started to seize the momentum again. She spun around and shook off the damage, turning to face her foe, and saw her looking vulnerable enough. Perfect time to close in.
Or so she thought.
That notion was proven incorrect when she charged in headlong and found her opponent missing at the last second. The ropes came down and she sailed over them, nearly taking a nasty dive out of the ring. Bast was only able to save herself by a small miracle, as she grabbed the middle rope on the way down and used it to correct her fall, but it was a close thing. She just managed to come down on her feet, and she had to take a moment to correct her equilibrium, losing important time in the process.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
Tina saw Bast salvage her landing... this big woman was aware and agile! Tina shook her head and tried to make the most of this situation.... The tigress grabbed the top rope and jumped, kicking her legs up and swinging like a pendulum with her legs going through the ropes aiming to connect to the face of Bast! Tina was trying to go all out and knew she had to be creative to come out on top tonight.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
Was Cersei growing a little nervous? Yes, that would be fair to say. While she wouldn’t go as far to say that Bast was doing poorly in this match, it was far from the outright dominance that she’d been hoping for, with her opponent putting up far more of a challenge than she’d expected. She didn’t want to get close to her sister’s fighting, preferring to maintain a safe distance whenever possible…but the longer this dragged on, the more likely it seemed that she might have to bridge that gap, if only for a moment.
All of that was the furthest thing from Bast’s mind at the moment, however, with her main focus at present just hanging in there and getting her offense in. She was on her way to doing that, recovering on the outside of the ring, when she looked up to see her opponent coming at her like a cannonball.
Too bad for her, she wasn’t quite enough to do anything but get her arms up in defense. That took some oomph out of the blow, but it still had more than enough force leftover to nearly knock her off her feet and send her stumbling into the barricades. She hit with enough force to slide them back a foot, and would’ve fallen flat if she hadn't managed to get her arms up at the last second and grab hold of them for support. A bad place to be all around, but one she couldn't escape from at the moment, not with the wind knocked clean out of her.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
Tina dropped to the ground outside the ring, rushing at Bast as quickly as she could! Tina was smaller but she knew she didn't want to sky away from anything. The tigress rushed in and looked to absolutely crash into Bast with a spear looking to send the both of them crashing through the barricade! Tina was looking to shock this woman who came in to LAW with her mouthpiece making a big deal of her undefeated streak. Tina was looking to throw all that away while demonstrating that she was still a top lady in LAW!

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
”Bast! Bast!”
While Bast appreciated her sister’s enthusiasm, her screaming wasn’t something she needed right now, her shrill voice echoing through her skull. She wasn’t even sure what she was going on about. It sounded like she was trying to warn her about something, but…
”Oh-”
Bast caught sight of Tina at the last second, but it was one second too late, as the small came plowing into her like a freight train. While the weight advantage was still hers, her opponent’s momentum was more than enough to bridge the gap, and the hit sent Bast straight through the barricade with a cacophonous crash, annihilating it on impact. Aching, all she could do was roll about and clutch her chest as she tried to recover.

Re: Tina Armstrong vs. Bast - Planned Obsolescence (Apex Qualifier)
Tina didn't feel great after that hard impact but knowing that she took down Bast made up for it! Tina stood up and pumped a fist in the air before looking down at Bast. The tigress high fived a couple fans and jumped up tucking her knees in. She was looking to smash down on the chest of Bast with a double knee drop hoping to further knock the wind right out of her! Tina was feeling good and she wanted to keep it up. She wasn't a damn roadblock or stepping stone to something else and it was about time that people stopped seeing her that way!
