As Clara kept control of the hold, her full focus was on making sure the hold was fully locked in, and causing Deku as much pain as possible...

...only for Izuku to suddenly turn her onto her shoulders with a swift motion!

"Ah!"

"ONE!"

"TW---NO!"

Swiftly, Clara kicked her legs up to separate her shoulders, and unwillingly, the hold, trying to quickly roll away to avoid Deku getting a one up on her!

Deku grunted and leaned back tensung his back as much as possible to hold Clara as securely as possible against the mat for as tight a pin as he could possibly manage.

Thankfully the ref was quick to drop down and start the pin.

But before the ref could even get a full two count Deku felt a sudden release as the girl kicked out inadvertently freeing him in the process! "Yes!" He said to himself softly as he immediately rolled away from Clara onto his knees a fair bit away from the girl holding his arm and looking at her wearily as he contemplated his next move.

Deku would roll away too, the match separating, with the screen at the entrance reading:

26:30

0-0

...and counting down, with neither wrestler having a clear advantage. Clara grumbled as she got back up to her feet. She moved carefully, trying to do anything too rash, and catch Izuku by surprise while he stood up himself...

...before trying to unleash a hard forearm strike into Deku's chest!

Deku groaned softly still having to roll his arm a bit to numb away some of the pain there as he started to stand up.

Key word being started too. By the time he got his feet under him and started to rise Clara was already upon him again swinging her arm into his chest with a forearm smash!

"gah!" He yelled in pain as he took the hit body turning to the side from the the impact as he winced in pain...

...Before clenching his own fist and torquing his body around to send a return elbow smash right back to Clara in retaliation!

The forearm strike by Clara would drive Deku back just for a moment...before he stood back firmly once more, sending a hard elbow smash to Clara's chest!

"GYAAAAAH!!! Grrrrh..."

She stepped away, before standing right back, growling as she launched her forearm forward, looking to smack Deku in the jaw!

Deku had groaned from that initial forearm smash from Clara but it wasn't enough to keep him down for long and he returned fire with another forearm smash right to Clara's chest in payback!

However Clara similar to Deku was far too fired up to be held up for long and the girl went right back in smashing Deku in the mouth with another smash!

"GAH!" Yelling in pain from the impact Deku stumbled back and turned his back to Clara before pulling himself back again and throwing his leg up as he turned to face the girl! "HIYAH!" He roared sending a pump kick aimed for Clara's chest!

The strike exchange continued, both wrestlers waiting for one of them to fall down. Clara would stand firm as Deku's leg came forward...

"AAAAAH!!!"

As it reached her chest! The air flow to her body was momentarily cut as she stepped back, holding the hurt spot on her chest, before:

"GRAAAAAAAAAH!!!"

Clara would fiercely roar, moving forwards as she tried to slug Deku square into his cheek with a hooK!

Both Clara and Deku were showing their discontent for one another with their fists as they let them fly into each other with unrelenting fury. Neither refusing to back down in their battle of strikes against one another to vie for an advantage.

For a moment Deku believed that to be himself following his kick to Clara's chest. It had been the biggest hit so far and he had hoped it would knock her down.

For a moment he thought it would.... till Clara came right back in smashing a punch into his face! "Gyah!" He yelled out in pain as he turned around from the force of the punch rocked for a moment.

On instinct Deku tried to turn with the force of the punch to swing his other arm around in an attempt to slam another punch to Clara's face. However unlike the previous strikes it was inaccurate and sloppy as a result of Deku's new unsteadiness!

The difference between attacking the body and attacking the head made itself clear. While Clara felt severely short of breath, Deku was dazed...and at this point of the match, it was actually worse, when your foe was so close to capitalizing on such a disadvantageous position.

As Deku tried to release his unsteady punch, Clara would easily duck in time, and slip her arm between Deku's legs.

From there, she would hook it around his right leg as she tried to trip him, and roll him up for a quick and sudden pin!

"ONE!"

But as she noticed the ref standing to her side, she realized that the official had no eyes on the arm that was hooking Deku's leg...so just as a pre-caution, Clara decided to do something she didn't usually do.

Her arm grabbed at the edge of Deku's swimming trunks, allowing her to put more of her own and Deku's bodyweight into the floor, trying to guarantee that Deku won't escape from this pin attempt!

Head pounding and ears ringing Deku was definitely off kilter as a result of Clara's headshot. It was definite proof how effective such a move was in a match such as this and it left him disoriented and unbalanced.

Throwing a wild punch it was no wonder that it didn't land.

However what he didn't expect was the feeling of a arm around his leg followed by his balance being take out from under him. "Whoa!"

Gasping in shock the boy was brought down and over Clara, his shoulders pressing against the mat in a roll up! Grunting in resistance he tried to pull himself free of her grasp but found extra resistance, something he felt from the distinct feeling of his trunks were grabbed!

'You cheap!' Shocked and honestly angry at the tactic Clara had resorted too it was a difficult pin to break out of and despite his efforts to thrash and kick his legs out he just wasn't able to get any force or traction on his side as his shoulders remained firm on the mat!

"TWO!!"
