Russia vs USA: Vera Sapphire vs Brynhild Ederne

Taken down again by her younger opponent, Brynhild would roll over to her stomach, which kept her safe from any big moves that Vera would have or might have planned to use on her that would target her stomach and chest area.

But that just left herself wide open for her younger opponent to grab Brynhild arm and wrap her legs around it, before getting a tight grip on her chin and starts to yank back doing the cross-face submission hold on her.

Vera would wretch on her opponent's arm and neck, putting intense pressure on her American rival's shoulder!

"I think it's wrong to ask you to give up so early into the match...", Vera would quip, taunting her foe slightly: "In fact, I would be really disappointed if you gave in now..."

Brynhild would grit her teeth after being stuck in the cross face hold. She knows that she can power out of the hold, but it also can risk her having her arm being taken out of the match as well. Just when it seems that she going to make a move... she hears the younger woman taunt her with some sassy comments, hearing those words ticks her off as if Vera is looking down at her.

Using her free hand, she would use it to push herself over so that she rolled Vera onto her back, then over again, seizing her opponent leg for a submission hold of her own... The Ankle Lock.

Vera’s sass would finally get to Brynhild, as the woman used her mighty strength to try and roll out of the hold, pinning Vera on her back as she slipped off before both women were forced to roll again…with Vera ending up as the one trapped, specifically in an ankle lock, at the end of the revolution!

”Auuuuugh!!!”, Vera cried out as Brynhild twisted on her foot, Vera quickly trying to get to the ropes as soon as she could!

Smirking and twisting on Vera's ankle with ease, Brynhild would chuckle, seeing her opponent's backside sticking right up in front of her as the other woman would try to get to the ring ropes to escape the hold.

'Nah sweetie you're going to have to work to reach those ropes.' she would taunt and drag her opponent back to the middle of the ring... before this time she would grapevine the leg with her owns, making it much harder for Vera to reach the ropes due to having to carry Brynhild weight now.

Vera grit her teeth, and opened her eyes in shock as she was carried off back to the middle of the ring...with Brynhild falling down to ground Vera, making it much more difficult for her to reach the ropes!

"Gkkkh...", Vera grunted...but continued to try and drag herself to the ropes, this time having help from her free leg as well!

A good 30 seconds in the hold later, Vera would finally find her way to the ropes, grabbing at them to give herself a break from the hold!

In what seems like hours but only just a few minutes... Brynhild opponent was able to reach the ropes to break up the submission hold, but just cause her opponent made it to the ropes doesn't mean she has to let go of the hold as she uses the full five count before letting go of the woman ankle.

Seeing as her plan to break her opponent down piece by piece, she doesn't wait for Vera to even get to her feet as she reaches down, grabbing the other woman's leg... before lifting it up and slamming it down knee first to the canvas.

4 seconds after putting Vera into the brutal hold, Brynhild would release the grip on her leg...for all of a millisecond, grabbing her leg once more and slamming it knee first into the canvas!

"GYAAAAAAAH!!!"

Vera would cringe in pain, and grasp at her knee while the ref tried to get Brynhild away from her to let the Russian recover...

'Ref... you have two seconds to move or I will make you move,' Brynhild would say as she moves the smaller ref to the side, not wanting to give Vera any time to recover at all.

Taking a few steps back and jumping into the air getting impressive height for a woman of her size... and crashes down with a splash right onto Vera's leg to crush it some more.

Suddenly, as Vera tried to take a moment to rise to her feet, Brynhild would leap up into the air, and splash Vera's leg with her body!

"HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!", Vera cried in agony, as she grabbed her hurting limb, punching the canvas in frustration and curling into a ball as her leg felt as if it was set on fire...
