Allen tried to lift Kayla up in order to bring her down into the mat with a body slam. But her opponent managed to hook her leg around hers, which prevented her from lifting her up. Now that her plan was thwarted, Allen would try to come up with another plan, but it seemed that Kayla wasn't quite done yet as she pulled her legs from under her, which caused the British daredevil to lose her footing.

"Wahh!!!"

This caused Allen to fall backwards. She knew that she might be in trouble if she ended up being downed by her opponent, so she would try to scoot back, hoping that she could distance herself from her opponent, though she had no real way to defend herself against whatever Kayla would try to do next.

It caused a confident smirk to cross Kayla's face, knowing that her quick thinking had saved her from taking a bodyslam and allowed her to maintain her place on top of things. And so too did she have the opportunity to turn control of the match to herself - as she used her leverage on Allen's leg to sweep it out from under her, taking the two women to the mat as Allen toppled backwards!

Landing on top of her, Kayla was quick to roll to her side before pushing herself up onto one knee to look around and assess the situation now that she was a safe distance away from her opponent. But she saw that Allen was trying to get away, and she didn't intend for her to avoid her for long - as she then proceeded to throw a forearm towards her to try and stun her in preparation for her next move! "Hah-!"

Brought down to the mat, Allen tried to move back in her attempt to distance herself from Kayla, but since her opponent also fell alongside her, it looked like moving backwards would be difficult for the high-flyer. Before she could move very far, Allen took a forearm smash to her face, leaving her stunned, stopping her advance. "GUHH!!!"

Falling flat onto the mat, Allen brought her hands onto her face that was struck by her opponent. Trying to soothe the pain, Allen inadvertently put herself in a precarious position, where her opponent would take advantage of her while she was busy trying to get rid of the pain from the damage that she had taken from her opponent's attack.

Allen may have been on the move, but Kayla - never exactly the quickest on her feet - knew she couldn't afford for her to get too far. She preferred to keep her opponents cornered and to work at them from there, and that was what she was currently focused on doing. She had thrown a forearm towards Allen to that end - and, luckily, the blow had hit its mark, causing Allen to fall back and halting her in her tracks. Now it was time for Kayla to capitalize.

And capitalize she did - she was quick to roll on top of Allen, grabbing for her arm and pulling it between her legs. She held down firm to the appendage, leaning back to twist it in an armbar!

Still trying to soothe the pain, Allen made herself vulnerable to whatever Kayla would do next. Sure enough, her opponent made her next move as she rolled on top of her before she grabbed her by her arm, pulling and clamping it between her legs. Allen's eyes widened when she realized what her opponent was trying to do, but she was too late to stop her, and she ended up being trapped in the armbar!

"Uwahh!!!" Allen cried out in pain as Kayla trapped her in the hold. She closed her eyes tightly and gritted her teeth, trying her best to overcome the pain, but it looked like things weren't going too good for the high-flyer. She tried to move herself using her feet, but with Kayla on top of her, escaping from the hold would be a difficult thing to do. All she could manage at the moment was to endure the hold, hoping to find an opening that she could use to escape.

Kayla hadn't just managed to counter Allen's move and fight back at her attempts to dominate her by getting a hit in, she had now taken her opponent to the ground - and that was an area she had plenty of experience in. Not wasting a moment, Kayla rolled on top of her foe to take her arm and lock her into an armbar. Already her chances were looking up, and she could feel the rush building inside her, a grin crossing her face as she pulled back harder to leverage Allen's arm in the hold!

Hearing the cries from Allen, Kayla was sure she was doing something right, and as the high-flyer tried to move, Kayla ground her body up closer against her to keep her back down, ensuring that her hold was locked in as best she could. It seemed that she was on a roll, and she wasn't about to let that go, her confidence and excitement building with each passing momen she kept her foe down, as her heart beat faster in her chest. Even the referee got down to check on the two fighters, asking Allen if she gave up. But it was quite apparent that Allen was willing to wait - and, eventually, Kayla's grip began to ease. She couldn't keep the hold in forever, but either way she would be doing a number on her opponent's arm!

Allen tried to endure the pain from the hold, knowing Kayla wouldn't be able to keep if forever. Even as the referee asked her whether she wanted to give up or not, the British high-flyer shook her head, refusing to submit to the hold. Eventually, she could feel that the grip began to ease, and she would try to take this opportunity to use her other hand to pry her trapped arm from the hold, looking to free herself.

Still, the hold would leave Allen weakened, which could spell trouble for her later. All she was thinking at the moment was to get herself away from Kayla, hoping to get herself a good distance between herself and her opponent. If she managed to free herself, she would try to use this opportunity to regain her strength while at the same time, keeping her eyes on her opponent so that she could see what she would do next.

Watching Allen from her position atop her chest, Kayla had to give her one thing; the Englishwoman had more stamina than she had given her credit for if she was lasting this long in her clutches. Even with the ref deciding to check on her, Allen still wasn't about to give any time soon. She was prepared to last things out the long way, and to wait for Kayla's hold to start to slip. Which, eventually it did - and with the aid of Allen prying at her arm, Kayla at last let go from her opponent, dropping back away from her before tumbling a short distance to put some space between the two of them.

Kayla picked herself up, dusting herself off before she looked back up at Allen, but she decided not to go charging back in right away. Instead, she'd keep her distance, watching Allen to see what she might do and how she could respond. Slowly and carefully, Kayla strafed around the edge of the ring, side-stepping in a circle with her attention fixated ahead of her.

Allen's arm still felt sore from being subjected to the hold earlier, and now that she was free, she would focus on her recovery while at the same time, she would keep her eyes on Kayla to see what her opponent would do next. Kayla somehow decided to keep her distance from her instead of attacking, and the British high-flyer would take this opportunity to soothe the pain and recover.

As Kayla began moving, Allen would keep watching her, not wanting to make her opponent leave her sight, knowing that it would be a fatal mistake. As soon as she recovered a little, the high-flyer would begin her move, carefully closing in towards her opponent, shortening the distance between the two of them. Then, with a burst, she would charge towards her opponent, looking to smash an elbow right at the side of her opponent's head, hoping to stun her a little.

Kayla chose to stay back and bide her time for now, waiting for Allen to present her with an opportunity she could capitalize upon. Certainly she knew that the hard part had already been done for her - her opponent's weary arm would be an easy point to exploit, as well as hampering her ability to fight at her full capacity. All she needed now was to keep her momentum going.

She watched as Allen came charging for her, and at that moment Kayla fell still, seeing the incoming arm held for her head. Having been watching Allen, Kayla could see her coming, and she quickly ducked to swing out under the oncoming collision. Despite this, Allen was still a nimble girl, and as Kayla straightened herself back up on the other side, she would be left panting, without much of an opportunity left to follow up on her escape!
