Re: Rising Star? Mikasa Takeuchi vs. Vida Fenix

“I-I am … not …” Vida whimpered, Mikasa’s taunt about crying making her suddenly fight hard to not let the tears start flowing. Face reddening, Vida gasped for air as she tried to roll over and get away from her opponent. Pawing at the air around herself as if she was going to find safety somewhere around herself, Vida seemed unaware of her position in the ring, or the position of her opponent. The young woman looked like a lost little rookie, just barely managing to hold it together.

“AGH! Nnngh!” Vida grunted as Mikasa nudged and pushed her toward the ropes. Vida’s upper body, from her perky bust upward, hung off the edge of the ring. Vida tried to lift her head while Mikasa argued with the referee, which Vida thought would be a chance to rest … until she saw someone jump the barricade!

“Que!?” Vida gasped, just as the newcomer’s boot slammed into her head! The crowd jeered the interference, both cruel and seemingly completely unnecessary as Vida was already in well over her head! The luchadora’s head snapped to the side, before she went limp. Vida hung over the apron, both arms dangling low. Her head lulled from side to side, while Vida moaned in miserable pain and humiliation. Hanging there, Vida finally lost the fight to keep her tears in check!

Kazuko Ito's boot hit hard onto Vida's head, and she continued to walk past the girl after as the crowd booed loudly. Toshiko, meanwhile, looked on with annoyance, turning the other way as she walked the opposite direction as well. Mikasa would then say, "Anyway, keep up the good work," to the referee, patting her on the shoulder before grabbing hold of Fenix's leg, dragging her back towards the middle of the ring. "It looks like you didn't even try to recover at all! Allow me to help you up though, okay?" said Takeuchi before holding up a finger to the crowd, mugging for them.

She would then proceed to grab hold of Vida's hurting form lifting it up in a very specific way to get ahold of her arms and one of her legs. "But I think I like you better back on the mat though. Sorry not sorry," said the Lightning Crasher arrogantly, winking at Vida while she had her trapped. Then, she would attempt to heave her up and over in a Trap Suplex she calls the Lightning Cage, looking to send her painfully into the mat without her arms and legs to brace her fall! A complex maneuver, but one that Mikasa seemed to make look easy!

Vida’s head whipped to one side with the impact of Kazuko Ito’s boot, then lulled back and simply hung from her shoulders while she was stunned. The poor girl dangled from the ropes, hearing nothing but the ringing in her ears and a dulled roar of the audience as they boo’d the twist of fate Vida had just suffered. Only just as Mikasa pulled her off the ropes did Vida start coming back to reality.

“Aaahh,” Vida managed to moan, fear in her voice as Mikasa stretched her limbs into position. Vida’s hands began to flail as she looked for a way out, but the young luchadora didn’t even know what move she was being set up for, let alone how to counter it. As the realization set in that she was helpless in Mikasa’s grip, Vida’s eyes opened in horror.

“N-no, wait …!” Vida protested, shaking her head right up to the moment that Mikasa swung her body up and over with the Lightning Cage! “AAAAAAH!” Vida cried out as she was rocked off the canvas, a shock shooting up her body on impact. Unprotected, Vida took all of it. Her body bounced off the canvas, her head and neck twisted at a weird angle as her legs went straight up into the air … then her body came flopping down on her belly.

Mikasa Takeuchi showed great technical ability as she grabbed hold of Vida tight in the Lightning Cage and sent her flying in a heap back onto the mat. Sitting back up, she dusted her hands off and looked up at the ceiling, shaking her head. "Vida! You're disappointing me! We have a captive audience, and you're just letting me throw you around!" The newcomer stood up and then walked over to Fenix, clicking her tongue.

Then, she leaned down, grabbing hold of Vida's hair and pulling her head off the mat. She was completely fresh in this match, using Vida as nothing but a training dummy. And Mikasa figured she would give Fenix one last opportunity to fight. "So. Come on. You got anything for me? Anything to show you have a little respect for yourself? Or is this thing over with?" asked Takeuchi, looking down at Vida's face, simply holding her there by the hair.

“AAAH!” Vida cried out as Mikasa grabbed her by the hair and started pulling her up to her feet. Vida winced, tears starting to spill down her cheeks as Mikasa physically dominated her, and verbally ran her down. Vida tried to grip Mikasa’s arm with both hands, to alleviate the pressure on her hair. Vida’s neck and upper back felt like they were on fire after the lightning cage, and fear was starting to overwhelm her as Vida struggled against a woman who was absolutely dominating her!

“Aaaahhh …” Vida whined, realizing that Mikasa was totally right. If she didn’t act, and quickly, it was going to be too late. The ref was shouting at Mikasa to release the hair, but Vida couldn’t wait for the official to save her. Struggling back onto her feet, Vida took a deep breath and tried to push through the pain. She would aim a hard kick at Mikasa’s toned belly, looking to knock some of the wind out of her and loosen that grip the bigger woman had on her hair. If she could, she would then shift her grip on Mikasa’s arm, pulling back and twisting her hips to try and toss Mikasa up and over, off her feet to make her break her grip on Vida’s short, raven hair!

The Lightning Crasher held Vida by her hair, letting her sit there and mull over what she was saying. She wanted action from this girl! She didn't know what it would take! Of course, if there was nothing left, Takeuchi would be happy to just finish this thing off, but Fenix did seem to have some fight in her still. It may yet be a fight after all! A kick came at Mikasa's stomach, doubling her over a bit. And through the pain, she smiled and said, "Well... We got ourselves a match!"

And then, she was tossed down with an arm drag, sending Mikasa toppling to the mat and rolling a couple times before using that momentum to get to one knee. "Good! Let's see more! Do you have what it takes, huh!?" taunted the redhead with a satisfied grin as she raced right back towards Takeuchi and then trying to send a clothesline towards Vida Fenix, aiming to knock her down if possible! It would be up to Vida if she had it in her to keep fighting!

Vida was gasping for air, rolling out of her throw and struggling back up to her feet. Sweaty, hurting, the luchadora was trying her level best to just keep alive in the match. Fortunately, the throw got some space between herself and Mikasa, so when the woman came rushing her again, Vida had some room to respond. Vida shook her head, squared her hips, and struggled to be ready to respond.

Barely ducking the clothesline, Vida threw herself at the ropes. Vida ran the ropes hard, hitting them with her full body, letting the tension of the ropes carry her when she rebounded, giving some assistance to move her tired and hurting body. When Vida sprang back at Mikasa, the luchadora would leap into the air, trying to use momentum and gravity to assist her with a flying forearm strike aimed right at Mikasa’s upper chest. Powering through the pain, Vida threw everything into her flying attack, trying to prove to Mikasa, the fans and herself that there was still some fight left in her!

Mikasa ran forward, looking to nail Vida with a clothesline--but the girl ducked! Quick, that one. Or maybe self-preservation finally kicked in. Either way, Takeuchi couldn't be mad. The drama was finally here! Her opponent was bringing it to her, or at least trying. She was going to make an attempt to fight back! The Lightning Crasher wanted nothing less! She smiled, looking amused with the situation now. But it didn't mean she was going to let Fenix do what she liked.

Turning around, she tried to approach Vida and catch her when she went for her move, but she was surprised by the flying forearm strike! The impact of her smaller opponent sent her slamming onto her back hard! Putting a hand to her chest, Mikasa laid there in pain, hissing out loud. The drawback of a dramatic match would be the pain, certainly. But it was all worth it to put on a proper show of it all. But that blow had taken a bit out of Mikasa, and she wasn't quick to rise from it just yet!

“Hah!” Vida grunted with the impact of her forearm striking Mikasa, actually sending her opponent falling to her back. Vida landed on her boots, staggering a bit. Vida shook out her arm as she backed off, looking somewhat surprised that her counter attack had found its mark. In fact, even taken her powerful opponent down to the mat! The dawning realization made Vida’s eyes widen, and her heart started racing in her chest. This was an opening! The moment it dawned on her, the luchadora tried to shake off the massive pain in her body, and spring into action.

Vida continued to stagger backward, away from where Mikasa was laid out, and she hit the ropes again. She bounced off, not nearly as hard as last time, but she wasn’t going for as much this time. Vida took a couple hard steps forward, letting momentum and gravity carry forward as she jumped into the air and forward, tucking up her legs to aim a knee drop right at Mikasa’s upper chest, hoping she could carry on this sudden momentum!

Mikasa Takeuchi knew that Vida Fenix was coming at her quickly. She girl seemed like she rarely ever had these opportunities before--but being able to have them seemed to get her even more excited. Even though the girl had taken a beating, she pushed through it to keep on the assault! The drama! The perseverance! It made the match that much sweeter, even if it hurt Takeuchi to go through.

She didn't intend to let Vida get this much offense--she certainly wanted her to work for it. And then, Fenix was above her, she certainly didn't intend to take a knee drop on her chest. And yet, that's precisely what happened. Mikasa's body shot up in pain as she held her chest with both arms, hissing out loud as she cringed, trying to handle the sudden pain of it. It allowed another opening for her opponent though, which Mikasa, while she wanted to see her fight, wasn't too sure she wanted this much offense from her foe.
