God damn, Emily thought, but this little green devil was fast.
She thought this even as she cradled her hurting midsection with one arm, down now to just one arm to defend herself with as she backpedaled, reeling from Zero's relentless assault. The blank-eyed little serial killer just kept coming at her, fists flying. Even as Emily became conscious of the space between her and the corner diminishing, Zero brought a leg kicking up...
Moving quickly as she was able, Emily would try to dodge. If she managed it, then she would try to spun around behind Zero's guard, wrap her arms around the lighter girl's waist, and simply drop back, practically caber-tossing her to the mat with a German suplex. But if she wasn't fast enough, then Emily would end up taking the kick full on in the face and go sprawling into the turnbuckle in a daze...

Re: Thuder Ryuko and Emily Nelson vs. SA-KI and Zero Kotobuki - Stand Tall
This was a good start. Too good, in Freia’s opinion. This sort of thing would only work on Emily Nelson for so long.
It was a shame she couldn't have gotten the Scottish Warrior to play nice and join up with them - she was still the talented, impressive wrestler she had been back in Wrestle Angels, perhaps even better than before. They could’ve used that technical expertise and that ring savvy, but that was the way of things - they’d all known that their former colleagues wouldn’t all be on board with the idea of an invasion from within.
But, oh well. If they couldn't use her as an ally, she’d serve as an example - so far, Zero was doing an excellent job of making her one.
The Massacre Ordinance was on a roll, bullying her taller opponent around the ring with frightening ease. She’d almost worked her into the corner, in fact, before the Highlander managed to catch onto her rhythm and stage a counterattack, whipping around behind with a well-timed step. She caught the smaller wrestler around the waist, lifted her up, and sent her flying with the wrestling staple, launching her across the ring with a perfect German Suplex.
Zero landed on her back, rolled once, then stopped on her foot and knee, shaking her head from the impact. It had rattled her - she wasn’t an actual machine, as much as she acted like one, and she would need a few seconds to get her bearings.

Re: Thuder Ryuko and Emily Nelson vs. SA-KI and Zero Kotobuki - Stand Tall
That, Emily noted, had been a lucky dodge: the shorter Zero was faster and much more nimble her, and dodging her was always going to be a tall order. The fact that Emily had done so came down either to luck, or to Zero simply becoming far too focused on delivering a decisive knockout. Either way, Emily had managed to land a decisive counter, driving Zero hard into the mat.
If this was luck, then Emily sure as hell wasn't going to squander it: rolling back up to her feet, Emily stormed over to Zero and tried to grab for her head in one arm for a frontal headlock, yanking the lighter girl to her feet. If uninterrupted, Emily would grab onto the back of Zero's knee with her free hand and drop back, trying to repeat one throw with another as she tried to drive Zero hard into the mat with another quick but effective suplex!

Re: Thuder Ryuko and Emily Nelson vs. SA-KI and Zero Kotobuki - Stand Tall
This was always the problem for Zero - her size. If you took her brain out and put it in the body of, say, Migiri Oozora, she would’ve been the most destructive, dangerous wrestler on any roster. While she was still a force to be feared, her diminutive stature meant she could be rag-dolled easily. She was a hard target to hit, but ‘hard’ didn’t mean ‘impossible’, and when you had an opponent as robust and tenacious as Emily Nelson…
Well. This was inevitable.
Emily knew the advantage she’d created, too, as she was quick to move in, scoop Zero up, and bright her back to the canvas with an impactful suplex, spiking her hard on the mat, enough to get a bounce. The Silent Killer’s instincts took over as she rolled away to the ropes, trying to reach some relative safety.

Re: Thuder Ryuko and Emily Nelson vs. SA-KI and Zero Kotobuki - Stand Tall
That was it. As Emily managed to slam Zero down hard with a suplex, she knew she now had the edge in this fight. As terrifying a fighter as Zero was, and as silent and emotionless as she was, even she couldn't mask pain. She hadn't said a word, but Emily knew the green haired girl was hurting.
Rolling back up to her feet, Emily decided it was time to give her tag partner a turn at the wheel. Grabbing Zero by the head, Emily would pull the green haired girl up, sliding on a side headlock that squeezed the girl's head against her side as she walked her over to her corner. "Over to you," she called to Ryuko, reaching forwards to tag her partner in before passing Zero to her and sliding between the ropes.

Ryuko smiled as Emily came over. She handled herself well but that was no surprise. Now if was time for Ryuko to show these women why she was called the thunder empress! "About time... heh." Ryuko said with a smirk as she climbed through the ropes and grabbed Zero smashing her with a punch then a second to the abdomen before grabbing hold of her. Ryuko wanted to lift her up and step forward to enter the match by delivering a backbreaker to Zero before shoving her off her knee.... at least she would if all went according to plan.

Re: Thuder Ryuko and Emily Nelson vs. SA-KI and Zero Kotobuki - Stand Tall
Zero wasn’t known for making much noise, but despite popular belief, she was not, in fact, an automaton. She could feel pain just like anyone else, with the main difference being that she was able to just ignore it and power through…most of the time.
But there were limits to anything, and as Thunder Ryoko came into the fight with a strength that did her namesake justice, she was confronted with one of them. Two punches sunk deep into the Silent Killer’s stomach, knocking the wind clean out of her, before her foe followed up by lifted her up and bringing her down with a crashing slam against her knee, nearly slicing her in half down the middle.
Zero rolled off with a tight grimace along her face and immediately went into a kicking fit as she nursed her aching spine with a massaging hand. It wasn’t the best look for her, and if her opponent had her way, it wasn’t going to get any better, something that SA-KI was keenly aware of.
She gripped the ropes tight and looked on, keeping a close eye on the referee. Her opportunity would come, she was sure of it, she just had to be patient.

Re: Thuder Ryuko and Emily Nelson vs. SA-KI and Zero Kotobuki - Stand Tall
Ryuko sent Zero to the mat and she wanted to keep hammering away at her. Ryuko pumped a fist in the air and stomped down hard twice in the abdomen of Zero. Ryuko pulled her up by the hair and grabbed her again, lifting her up and draping her across her shoulders. "Lets go for a ride little girl!" Ryuko shouted before spinning around still holding Zero up across her shoulders before stopping facing SA-KI with a smile flashing a quick 'thumbs down' to her before falling back to plant Zero to the mat with a samoan drop!

Re: Thuder Ryuko and Emily Nelson vs. SA-KI and Zero Kotobuki - Stand Tall
Zero was, indeed, going for a ride. Not a pleasant one, either.
Still aching from the earlier assault, she was easy prey to be lifted up on Thunder’s mighty shoulder, still wincing from the pain. SA-KI looked on as the brunette threw a look her own way, and she even shot her a middle finger in response, but that wasn’t enough to save her opponent.
That wasn’t to say Zero was done for, however. As Thunder Ryoko fell back for the Samoan Drop, Zero’s hands came to her opponent’s face and raked her hard across the eye with a blinding attack, striking while the referee couldn't see - it wasn’t much, and it wouldn’t save her from the crash, but all she was hoping for was a little window.

Re: Thuder Ryuko and Emily Nelson vs. SA-KI and Zero Kotobuki - Stand Tall
Ryuko was falling back, smiling as she knew that the impact would surely be a bad one for Zero. However as she fell her eyes were raked and seared with pain after as Ryuko herself was shouting out in pain! "ARGH!" Ryuko howled as she rolled off Zero, her hands rubbing her face. The thunder empress stumbled up to her feet still temporarily blinded and rubbing her eyes as she tried to regain her sight after the quick eye rake. This was not at all how she thought that would go....
