Vera vs Lotus - Fight for the Spotlight!

Vera wouldn't let the arrogant ninja rest from the punishment for long. Still holding her legs as she stood up, Vera quickly turned Lotus on her front, while sitting down atop her back, trapping her in a classic Boston Crab!

Having barely recovered from the spinebutter, the Lotus offered little resistance against her opponent flipping her onto her stomach and locking her in a boston crab. "Aaaaarrrhhggg!.." She howled in pain through gnashing teeth as she soon felt her spine cry out in agony. Her hands reached out to the ropes but they sat a couple feet away from her grasp. Seeing this, she winced and planted her forearms down hard against the mat before she started trying to crawl her way to the ropes.

Vera knew it was unlikely for Lotus to tap to the Boston Crab. Even if the woman was a bit too theatrical, it was clear to her that she could take a bit of punishment before tapping out.

So for now, she would milk the hold for what it's worth, bending downwards, trying to get her long hair into Lotus's eyes, smiling smugly about the match so far...

The Lotus gritted her teeth as she tried to ignore the pain and drag herself to the ropes, even with her opponent weighing her down via the boston crab. "The Lotus shall not yield!" She declared aloud, both to the audience and Vera, as well as to herself. "The Lotus shall escape your hold!" Invariably, Miyuki would grab hold of the ropes as soon as she was within arms reach.

Had Lotus not reached the ropes, Vera would've been very disappointed, but thankfully, her rival was more resilient than she expected, releasing the hold very shortly after Lotus grabbed the ropes.

Vera rose, and while the ref gave a moment to the Ninja to recover, Vera took her time basking in the spotlight, flipping her, now slightly wet with sweat, hair, before running her arm up her legs before resting it on her hip for an effective pose!

Fortunately for the Lotus, her efforts succeeded and she earned herself freedom of the boston crab with a rope break. Her legs floppled listlessly onto the mat shortly after being released by her opponent. Flipping herself onto her side, she caressed her aching back and shot a spite-filled glance at Vera.

"Such insolence." Miyuki hissed under her breath as she watched the other wrestler pose for the crowds. As soon as she got onto her feet, she threw her body onto the ropes behind her and catapulted herself towards Vera, attempting to strike her with a running version of the earlier discus chop.

As Vera finished posing for the crowd, Lotus would rebound from the ropes, and aim herself straight for the blunette, trying to unleash a hard discus chop against her chest!

"AUUUGH!!!"

Vera managed to keep on her feet...and would instead use the momentum of the chop to get herself into the ropes, rushing straight for Lotus to hit her with a hard Lariat to her Ninja rival's chest!

"Heheh." The Lotus snickered. Her chop struck Vera's chest, sending her tumbling towards the ropes. "The Lotus-eh?" The Japanese wrestler went to taunt her opponent but stopped when she saw the Russian slingshot off the ropes. "Nani-gah!" A surprised gasp escaped the Lotus's lips just before Vera's lariat connected. The blow floored Miyuki, sending her down onto the canvas in an instant.

Although somewhat disoriented, she was still in good shape. She rolled away from her foe, trying to gain as much distance as possible before she sprung onto her feet. With a grimace, she audibly inhaled and exhaled while also slowly adopting a fighting posture. This time she mimicked Ryu's iconic stance. Unlike before, Miyuki opted to tenatively approach Vera and circle around her, waiting for the pristine oppurtunity to attack.

Lotus hopped up surprisingly quickly from Vera's Lariat, Vera nodding in an impressed manner for her foe, as the match reset in a way, with neither wrestler having an advantage.

Vera chose to carefully approach...before trying to launch her fist forward to try and punch Lotus in her stomach!

If stunned, Vera would try to grab at Lotus from the sides while she doubled over, trying to lift and slam the Ninja into the air for a Gutwrench Suplex!

"Hmph." The Lotus scoffed upon seeing Vera similiarly approach in a cautious fashion. Miyuki smirked as she sought to catch the other bluenette off-guard with a roundhouse kick. Unfortunately for Miyuki, she attempted her kick at the exact same moment that Vera threw a belly punch. Of course, the latter's punch outpaced the former's kick and since the Lotus was winding up for her roundhouse kick, she couldn't stop the fist from colliding into her stomach.

"Krkkk!" She wheezed as the force of the punch forced her to double over. Moreover, the impact of the blow knocked all the air out of her lungs, leaving her unable to resist Vera's grasp when she wrapped her arms around the Lotus's waist. Before she knew it, the world spun and her back crashed onto the mat. She would've cried out if she had the breath to spare. Instead she just laid down flat on her back, her face scrunched up in agony and her eyes screwed shut.
