Snuggling with Shadows (Lord) - Clara vs April 2

April would hum chewing on some chips, tunrning to Clara as she asked the question "HMM? Ouuh Japananmmp" She mumbled swallowing the chips "I got picked up after some LAW agent dudes got intrested in me and stuff, said I had a flashy style and a likeable attitude and they wanted to like, give me a shot. Currently it's kinda been uh...not great, but also not awful. Like I win a lot.....sometimes.....okay I won like twice both by roll-up and it's become a joke online I am the master of the roll-up, since all the matches I win are roll-up's" She rubbed her head a bit

"I mean it's fine, I just need to get the t-shirt made and I'll make tons of money but...I dunno it's just kinda, hard to feel like a big deal when you lose a lot. People like seeing you win but the last time I fought someone she punched me in the liver, it stunned me so bad I basically just became a practisce dummy the entire match. Like, I don't wanna end up being another loser champion, and I'm barely dodging that, and like-" April paused for a moment, before letting out a little chuckle. "I mean it's not ALL bad, most people would pay for what the ant lady did to me right." She let out another laugh, but it was clear the thought was bugging her. Almost like she swallowd what she wanted to say to not bother Clara. "What about you? How'd they find the all mighty Shadow nerd?" She tried to lighten the conversation up a bit, trying to ignore her semi-sad response she gave.

”Heh…hey, rolling up people takes the right timing and skill. Don’t sell yourself short with that nickname!”, Clara would try to give a positive spin to April’s 2 wins by roll up, though giggling herself at her online nickname.

She did explain her worries about losing too much, potentially getting into Loser Champion contendership, but with her next question, as she tried to get away from talking about that, the question turned to Clara:

”More or less the same. LAW saw the way my character worked at the time and signed me up. I thought I wouldn’t last a year here…I barely lasted two, heh…It was hard in the beginning because I did lose a fair bit as well…but things turn around. I am not the best person to talk about not taking losses the hard way. I left LAW for over a year because I was so disappointed in myself over not becoming the champion…but you keep going. Keep training, keep working on your weaknesses, and everything else will work out…”

April listened to Clara's story and how it somewhat mirrored April's own, the feeling making her realize that overall maybe it would get better. Obviously, April idolized Clara, the fact they were hanging out in a hotel room watching a monster movie is still something she had trouble wrapping her head around, so although it was small, hearing the fact that she wasn't the only one who struggled with losing made her feel a bit better. The positive spin also helped her feel better about the roll-up nickname

She would scoot back up a bit, nibbling on some chips "Mhm, I guess that's true.....so like, did you come up with the shadow lord thingy? Or was that something where they just wanted you to do a gimmick and you just ran with it?"

"Oh no! Shadow Lord was all me!", Clara would chirp, taking a potato chip to snack on it. "Losing sucked, and I felt I wasn't succeeding as myself in the ring...", Clara would remark, remembering the painful times:

"I made the character, and even though my win-loss record didn't improve for a while, I just felt...more comfortable in the ring. People would also become a fun of the gimmick. And it's still fun! I should get back into character at some point...", Clara would remember much more positive times...

April smiled nodding "Yeah that does sound kinda fun!" She chuckled, rubbing her head "I uh....hehe, I kinda have some shadow lord stuff." April admitted, being a rather big fan of Clara, obviously she had bought a lot of her merchandise, which was a little embarrassing in general, but considering she was now sitting with her watching a movie, it made it all the more flustering for her to admit it

Clara blushed as April mentioned having her merch. It was weird to remember how popular the Shadow Lord character was just a few years ago. She still received plenty of checks from LAW as merch royalties, so there are plenty of Shadow Lords shirts in the wild right now. Lest of all, it was slightly weird to sit down watching a movie with a fan...but it also felt good, in a strange way.

Both girls blushed, awkwardly looking at each other, and Clara decided to break the silence:

"Baaaaah. I don't know why I am being awkward about this. I am happy to hear it. It's just...slightly weird to talk with a fan outside a computer screen or just clapping hands with them in the ring..."

"...um...did you become a wrestler before you became a fan or...?", Clara decided to ask April.

April heared the question and partly stopped, glancing over at Clara, her face extremely red. She had a lump in her throat, but she would breath in hard, knowing she had to answer the question.

"YES......Y-y-you're the reason I wanted to be a wrestler." she was a bit nervous as she put to much force into the yes part. "I never really was super good at sports and stuff, but like, I saw you and how fancy and neat you are and your cool evil junk and like...it spoke to me y'know? I just really wanted to be like you, now I wanna be...well someone you could look at and be like "They're a cool wrestler too."

April's brain was going crazy, she somehow found her words but it was by far one of the most shocking things she had ever done, admitting to her hero that well, she was her hero.

"It's kinda silly but...yeah you're really cool."

Clara wanted to grab a pillow and hide from April, even if for just a second. She was slightly embarrassed to be praised like that. It was one thing to hear words about herself online...but in person? Her dream in long term was to eventually open a wrestling school, to inspire more people into wrestling...and she was very happy to hear that she was on her way to that dream...

"I...um...ah...I...hm...th-thank...you...Thank you so much...", she smiled towards April, happy she invited the girl over, as the movie slowly but surely approached it's climax...

April blushed a bit, nodding and just sitting back to watch the rest of the movie, a bit shy at the fact she had made Clara so flustered. But regardless it was nice to get it off her chest

After the movie reached it's climax, April would sigh, stretching and adjusting her pyjama's "That was cool! Always liked that one." She joked, glancing over at Clara, still a bit unsure if she was still flustered. She would scoot over, gently placing an arm on the shadow lords arm. "So what you wanna do now miss shadow lord?" She asked giving a friendly smile

With the movie over, the cute Canadian would place her arm over onto Clara's shoulders.

In truth, Clara had an idea. A slightly awkward idea to say out loud, but they were two girls, together on a night, and Clara's girlfriend wasn't anywhere to be found...with permission to tussle with cute girls in lewd matches already secured for the future.

"Ummm...how would you like a rematch against me while we are alone together? Could be anything...and we could record it on our phone and send the footage to LAW as well, if you want to make it official?"
