Debut: A normal match against Alana Wave, the surfing chick (December 15th 2019)
Personality: Choleric, Tomoko is an independent and competitive person, always looking for a challenge to her body and mind. The reason behind that search isn't some sort of predetermined goal or for a deep purpose, but merely for fun. Her wish to overcome challenges ("and challengers!") will prompt her to be very analytical, a trait that can be a disadvantage, with her thinking and judging too much, or an advantage, in situations where her thinking will uncover her opponent's tactics. While she does like to plan, putting her strategies in practice can be quite a pain to the attorney, be it on court or in the ring, hating having to do everything to put things in practice. But, when she does it, the lawyer will do anything in order to see them being a success. Furthermore, while in public competition, she will behave much more socially than she would on a regular day, when she sticks do planning and being serious, acting provocatively and arrogantly, constantly using latin terms as a sophism to intimidate her opponents and win the opinion of the crowd or jury.
History: Born to a troubled family in rural Japan, Tomoko was raised in the midst of constant domestic abuse suffered by her mother on the hands of her father. While this made her infantile life be marked by a fear of suffering the same punishments endured by Ms. Yamamoto, the young girl grew respecting and even idolizing her mother, due her strenght to carry on, despite all the hardships. However, when she was eleven years old, Mr. Yamamoto ended up murdering her mother, by accident, in one of his evil rage outbreaks. Despite the prosecution by Japan's parquet, her father ended up free from prison, considered innocent, because, according to the judge, he had acted in "self defense". Such statement was, in a large part, caused by Tomoko's testimony, that alleged this information, albeit it was false. The reason behind that was a fear that consumed young Tomoko's soul and prevented her from telling the truth. Eventually, having reached adulthood, she decided to study law in order to, one day, try to obtain justice for her mother. With her formation complete, she prepared a reopening of the case against her father, for Ms. Yamamoto's murder. She showed to the parquet the reasons she elaborated to re-open the investigations and prosecution against Mr. Yamamoto, which culminated on a new judgment, that, finally, condemned him.
Tomoko continued her career on law. Despite her talent in the criminal area, she preferred to search something more lucrative and more challenging, since one of the things that attracted her to law was the testing aspects of this subject. Eventually, she ended up working on sportive law, in a famous law firm from Tokyo, where she currently lives, while, occasionally working as an attorney in criminal cases, where her specialty are crimes related to drugs or accidents ("some of them intentional") in sports.
It was during one of those cases that her path to wrestling began. She was participating on a session of trial and instruction, on a case related to a japanese team she was representing against the "people of Japan". Tomoko wasn't having a nice day and the fact that she lacked the proofs to back her ambitious claims was bothering her. The breaking point happened when the prosecutor, her adversary, insulted her indirectly, questioning if she was "technically capable to perform the function of an attorney". Immediately, the soon-to-be wrestler contained her rage, keeping a stoic stance during the rest of the session. When it ended, she ambushed the prosecutor outside of court, where they had a heated discussion. Both women were trained in martial arts, due a similar logic of having a need to self-defense on their line of work. In their training, they were taught to use their martial knowledge only in defensive situations. Such lessons were useless by then, as their fiery rage overcame their reason. Both lawyers started to have a physical confrontation, from which Tomoko emerged victorious, having applied a move that would become her signature "Rule of L.A.W.", that submitted the prosecutor and made her "give up her insults".
Tomoko's triumph in the physical engagement against the prosecutor gave her a lot of pleasure and it prompted her to take a clear course of action: As a legal professional, she couldn't let her emotions overcome her thinking, so she needed something that she could use to canalize her emotions out of her body and mind. Fortunately for the attorney, one of her clients that were in mora on the payment of her service fees was a retired wrestler, that agreed to give her some classes on his gym, to pay his debt. An observation of her training by agents of the League of Anime Wrestling eventually got her into it, where she continues to this day, seeking to win a championship, in order to generate revenue to fulfill one of her current most important goals: Find a better place to live and get rid of her kitnet. If she does it, she can finally bring her two daughters and her husband to live with her in Tokyo, where she inhabits alone, away from her family, due the needs of her job (since most of the big athletes and her firm are concentrated in the capital).
