Megumi Mutoh vs. Toshimi Minami - The Clash of Angels

Thanks to Megumi's quick thinking, she managed to counter Toshimi's move with a monkey flip. After sensing her opponent and fellow Angel landing on her back, the Combat Genius would roll herself over onto her front so that she could properly see her opponent before pushing herself back up. Brushing aside some stray strands of hair off of her forehead, she would get herself onto her feet before moving towards the downed Toshimi, getting her back up onto her feet.

Once Toshimi was on her feet, Megumi would then try to drive her knees into her gut several times, hoping to weaken her opponent and leave her winded so that she could then lift her up, draping her over her shoulders in a fireman's carry. From there, she would fall to her side, looking to bring the Venus of Submission head first into the mat with a death valley driver!

Toshimi was caught by surprise when Megumi managed to turn the tides, she hadn't expected that even though she should have given the nickname of the red clad fighter. Shaking her head a little, Toshimi tried to clear her head, but she wasn't able to do so just yet, instead she felt Megumi grab a hold of her hair and start to guide her up towards her feet.

Clicking her tongue at getting her haired pulled in order to just get her up to her feet, but that annoyance was replaced with a loud cough as Megumi drove her knee into the gut of the Venus of Submission, slamming her knee into her gut over and over. The raven haired woman would be forced to double over, wrapping an arm around her gut as she held it to prevent further damage and tried to numb the sudden pain that had been delivered to her by Megumi's knee.

Suddenly she was then pulled up onto the shoulders of Megumi and then the Combat Genius threw her down head first into the canvas with a mighty Death Valley Driver, her head bouncing off of the canvas as her body jolted before slumping down on her side, rolling over onto her front as she would lay there after the mighty move from Megumi Mutoh.

Bringing Toshimi head first into the mat with a death valley driver, Megumi knew that this would be her moment to shine. Looking at Toshimi's current position, Megumi knew that there was something that she could use to bring this match to its finish. Seeing that Toshimi was on her stomach, Megumi would get on her feet and walk towards where her opponent's legs were and setting up for her submission hold finisher.

Arranging Toshimi's legs to ensure that she got them locked with her own, Megumi would then lean back, first supporting her own weight with her hands before moving said hands towards her opponent's chin. From there, she would start to subject her fellow Angel with the inverted Indian deathlock facelock, also known as the Muta lock.

That Death Valley Driver had taken quite a bit of wind out of Toshimi's sails, as her head was in a world of hurt. She would groan as she laid on her stomach, she tried to move her arms, placing her hands down against the canvas as she tried to start and push herself up. However as she tried to do so, Megumi came in and took a hold of her legs.

Arranging her legs and locking them up so that Megumi could lean back and then cup the chin of Toshimi, the Venus of Submission was pulled into a deadly Muta Lock! From her knowledge it was a move that the Combat Genius had used as a finisher of hers. "Mmmkh..." Toshimi grunted out as she was feeling her chin being stretched up and her neck being strained, the hold causing her no small level of discomfort.

However...Toshimi wasn't known as the Venus of Submission for nothing. She would endure, until she got full feeling into her limbs and her senses back to strike back...or at least try to endure.

Megumi already had Toshimi trapped in her Muta lock, hoping to put her opponent's body past its limit in order to bring her to submission. But she was also aware that Toshimi wasn't just a normal wrestler; she was called the Venus of Submission for a reason. She knew that Toshimi would find a way to escape this hold while enduring it, and the Combat Genius knew that this was a race against time.

"Grrrr... j-just... g-give up, will you?" Megumi grunted as she would continue exerting her strength into the hold, hoping that it would be enough to get a submission out of her fellow Angel, but the continuous exertion caused her arms to ache and her palms went sweaty, which would make it hard for her to keep the pressure going.

[Devastated]

Toshimi narrowed her eyes as she tried to focus her mind, her senses were feeling a bit fuzzy with the pain running through her frame. She had to give credit to the Combat Genius, her submission finisher was without a doubt a deadly and well applied hold. However, Toshimi Minami wasn't about to lose to that hold, her arms would tense and her fingers would start to slide against the canvas.

Pulling her hands up, one of which would grab at one of Megumi's hand. Trying to grip a hold of Megumi's thumb first and aimed to take that and start to pull and pry it off of Megumi's own grip, seeking to start to weaken that hold. The other arm of Toshimi would reach around, trying to slip in around Megumi's neck as it was right next to her. Trying to wrap that arm tightly around that neck and try to give it a squeeze with her arm, looking to lock Megumi into a reverse facelock while she worked on prying off that hold of the fellow Angel.

Megumi struggled to maintain the hold despite her grip on Toshimi weakening by each passing second. And then, Toshimi decided to try prying her hands off of her chin, making it even harder for the Combat Genius to maintain the hold. In addition to that, Toshimi also went to wrap her arm around her neck, squeezing it. Having no other choice, Megumi released her grip on Toshimi's chin before she brought her hands onto her opponent's arm so that she could try prying it off of her and roll off from her.

Toshimi had proven once again that she wasn't an easy opponent to handle. It was already expected, considering that she was one of the iconic wrestlers of Wrestle Angels. While Megumi herself was well-known for her exploits, she knew that she couldn't simply half-ass it while facing the Venus of Submission.

[Devastated]

Practically reversing the Muta Lock as she locked in a chinlock variation of her own of Megumi Mutoh, the Combat Genius made a wise choice in quickly abandoning her own hold and struggling her way free from Toshimi's grip. Rolling away from the Venus of Submission as the raven haired woman would do the same, rolling away from her rival as she would start to rise up towards her feet.

Letting out a huff of effort as she rose to a stand and stared down Megumi with a focused and cold gaze. Toshimi would crack just the faintest smile as she would step forward and raise her arms, looking to then suddenly dive in and go for Megumi's right leg! Trying to tackle out from under Megumi and bring her down onto the canvas. Where Toshimi would try and then pull that leg in under her right armpit and shift onto her back, trying to lock her legs around that leg, scissoring it as she would go for a knee bar submission!

Freeing herself from Toshimi's clutch, Megumi would rise back up onto her feet, and it looked like the two of them went back onto their feet almost at the same time. Seeing her fellow Wrestle Angel cracking a smile, Megumi would also do the same, though her smile was more audacious and hot-blooded. Then, after seeing Toshimi raising her arms, Megumi would mirror her as well, preparing herself for another clash with the Venus of Submission.

And then, Toshimi subverted her expectation as she suddenly dove towards her leg, and Megumi ended up being tackled down onto the mat. "Uwah!!" It looked like her opponent was about to lock her into a knee bar submission hold, so the Combat Genius would try to stop her from locking her into the hold as she would try to use her free leg to kick at her, hoping that it would leave her distracted, allowing her to pull her leg from Toshimi's clutch. She would then move backwards so that she could regather her thoughts and think of what to do next.

Toshimi dove down and took a hold of Megumi's leg, trying to yank Megumi Mutoh down onto the canvas and place her into that knee bar, but as she tried to lock her legs around Megumi's and pull it in the Combat Genius's quick thinking allowed her send kicks at the raven haired wrestler, causing her to click her tongue in frustration as her grip was lost.

The Iron Maiden of Wrestle Angels would roll away from her opponent and try and get back up towards her feet. Shaking her head a little as she did, if she wanted to take Megumi down then she was clearly going to have to find a way to restrict her movement even more....
