Dana Ashford vs. Jessica Wright - Attitude Adjustment

Dana Ashford had heard of Jessica Wright. In fact, she did watch the match between her daughter and that woman, and while the match ended with her daughter's loss, she couldn't help but be impressed by what she had seen. From what she could see, Jessica was a promising young woman with a lot of talent, and certainly a lot of baggage, as expected from someone like her. And despite her advanced age, Dana wished to see how good this Jessica was in the ring, and tonight, she would get her opportunity as she was slated to face Jessica in the ring.

As soon as she was given a cue to make her entrance, Dana made her way to the ramp, receiving some reactions from the crowd. Dana had quite a legacy that she got more cheers than boos from the crowd, which served her just fine. Clad in her strapless leotard, the veteran made her way down the ramp, heading over to the ring where she would face her opponent soon. At the same time, her entrance music, Birth of a New Witch, was playing from the loudspeakers, a mixture of instrumental hip-hop and classical which had become quite iconic.

After she arrived, Dana would climb up the apron and rolled under the ropes to enter the ring. After getting herself onto her feet, she would wait for her opponent to arrive as her music faded out. She would wait at the corner, leaning against the turnbuckle as her eyes were directed towards the entrance.

Jessica had stretched out, and was feeling loose and limber. After a few initial missteps, Jessica was beginning to find her feet in this particular federation. She realized now that coming straight from Iowa did not prepare her for the trials and tribulations of Japan, but soon found her feet. She was on quite the streak, and sought to continue that for as long as she possible could. She was running in place now to get her heart rate up a bit, to truly get herself ready for the match.

When she got the text message from her manager, she couldn't really believe it. She had scored a win over Toni, and that one felt good. Now, Toni's mom was seeking her out and trying to set everything straight. Whenever she got into a feud back in Iowa, her brothers and father never helped her out. It was always on her own that she dealt with a wide variety of nasty women. But that tested her, made her stronger. And it rid her of any thoughts that mommy would be there to help her out.

She made her way to the entrance ramp with long strides. Dana was a heavyweight, and Jessica did not enjoy the prospect of having to go against a bigger woman that herself, not again. But she also thought that getting a win over an entire clan would be an excellent boost to her career, and get her closer to her ultimate goal, which was to get the belt. She stood by the staging area and waited for Dana's music to die down, and make her own entrance.

She smiled. Her own entrance music mentioned family, a fact that would come into play here. Jessica's head was held high as she made her way down the ramp, staring straight at Dana as she entered the ring.

"Let me guess. Sweet little Toni got scared at having to face a real woman, so she called in mommy to come help. Don't worry. I am going to beat you too, so you can get a taste of what Toni felt. And I am going to make your defeat humiliating, so Toni will know who her real mommy is..." Jessica's voice was acid as she threatened Dana.

Dana watched as Jessica made her entrance, her smile still on her face as she looked at the younger woman making her way to the ring. She sure had quite an attitude, from the look of it, and she was thinking if she might be a fun opponent to be had. As soon as Jessica made her way into the ring, Dana listened to what she was saying, and she tilted her head as she thought of her response to her.

"Ah, well... actually, it's not like that..." Dana said, waving a hand as she responded to Jessica. "I don't really mind my daughter losing since that'll be a good lesson to her. It's just that I wanna fight you, that's all..." she said, still keeping her smile on her face as she would continue looking at the younger woman. "You call yourself a real woman, right?"

Rolling her shoulder, Dana would step forward, still keeping her smile. "Then, let's see how real you are, darling..." She would step away from the corner as she would wait for the bell to ring, which would signify the start of the match.

Jessica eyed Dana with great suspicion. If someone had wrestled one of her family members, Jessica would have attacked them just on principle. It seemed quite odd that Dana would brush off Jessica's comments with simply a wave, and Jessica was uneasy. She shifted from one foot to the next, trying to figure out what exactly Dana was getting into. Yes, she was very much a real woman, and she was more than ready to show the large woman in front of her.

"You're gonna find out that I am the only real woman in this ring." Jessica said. "And I more than wanna fight you." Jessica peeled herself off the turnbuckle and moved towards her opponent. She wanted to lock up with Dana, to show the mom that she was the biggest baddest lady in the ring.

Dana maintained her motherly smile on her face as she watched Jessica getting off from the turnbuckle, preparing for their clash in this match. Soon, the match started, and Dana would do the same as her opponent, stepping forward and bringing up her hands in preparation to lock up with the younger woman in a grapple.

As soon as both women were in a grapple, Dana would try to make use her strength to overwhelm Jessica, hoping that this would be sufficient to display her physical power. It helped that Dana had quite a hefty frame, at least compared to Jessica. She was certain that her powerfully-built figure would be enough to withstand the might of her opponent.

Jessica truthfully didn't know how long she spent in the gym on an average week. Whenever she was there, she would do rep after rep after rep until she felt like she was unbeatable. And she liked showing off that strength at any opportunity, which was usually pretty effective. When she pushed forward initially, it was with great confidence. Dana was a big woman, but Jessica was strong. She thought that she could send Dana backwards, and then work from there.

Only, Dana didn't move back an inch. The motherly smile that flashed across her mind, the one that Dana had given her just a second ago, made her want to push all the more. The veins in her neck and in her arms started bulging, but Dana was immobile.

Grunting with frustration, Jessica changed tactics and flung herself backwards. She was going to use Dana's weight against her by going for a monkey flip.

Dana didn't budge an inch as Jessica pushed her, and she was delighted by this, knowing that there was a difference of strength between the two. But the younger and smaller woman proved to be more resourceful than Dana thought as she suddenly changed tactics and flung herself backwards, pulling Dana with her. Unable to quickly adjust with the change, Dana was pulled towards her opponent, and before she knew it, she was flipped over her opponent with a monkey flip, and she ended up landing on her back as a result.

"Uhhn!!" Dana grimaced a little as she crashed back first into the mat. A little miscalculation from her part, but she wouldn't let it bother her as she would try to roll herself over to her side, hoping that her opponent wouldn't be too quick to follow up the move with her next attack. She would try to get herself back up onto her feet, though she could only manage to get herself on all four for the time being.

Jessica was relentless, a whirling purple fireball of fury who could only be sated by the immortal glory of victory. She had flipped Dana over her, which was no small feat, but that would not be anywhere near enough to stop Jessica. She popped up immediately, and wheeled around to go face her opponent. Dana was down, but far from out. The Violent Violet recognized that it was going to take a lot more than that to put Dana down for the three count.

Which is precisely what Jessica intended to do. Dana was stronger than her. For most of her time in the wrestling ring, she was the stronger of the pair, and she lamented the loss of that status now. But she knew how to win against someone bigger than her. It took a lot of effort, to be sure, but she had to try if she wanted to have her hand held high. She attempted to leap onto Dana's back and snake her arms around the mom's neck. It didn't particularly matter if Dana was tired if Dana was exhausted. At least, that was the thought, as Jessica went for the rear naked choke.

Getting herself on all four, Dana would try to push herself back up so that she could return back into the fight. But, it seemed that Jessica was already on the move as she leaped onto her back and snaked her arms around her neck. "Nghhh!!" Dana winced as she felt those arms started squeezing her neck, as if trying to choke her. But the veteran decided that she wouldn't succumb to this hold early in this match as she would get herself on her knees while Jessica was still choking her from behind, putting her body into a vertical position.

If she managed to do that, Dana would try to dissuade Jessica from continuing with the move as she would attempt to drive her elbow into the side of her body several times, hoping that the pain would force the younger woman to release her from the choke. Dana was having trouble breathing at the moment, so she needed to be quick in order to release herself from this predicament.

Jessica was holding on for dear life. It was hard to get her limbs all the way around this particular woman, given how rotund she was, but Jessica had managed it. The hold was not terribly secure, and she recognized that things could quickly go awry if Dana did something that upset the balance. As she tried to move forward, Dana was moving also, making the hold that little bit more difficult to maintain. Jessica gritted her teeth. Her nostrils flared.

And then she grimaced. Jessica dealt with elbow after elbow and found her grip loosening. The choke had been released, but Jessica was still hanging on Dana's back.
