Hikaru vs. Layla

As usual for Hikaru things were going according to a plan until they got turned around on her in a way she didn't forsee! She was flipped over and found herself stuck underneath Layla, trying to shove Layla's legs away from her and scramble to her feet! Hikaru went from being in control to trying to rise to her feet before Layla could throw more surprises her way! Hikaru didn't want to let things unravel like she had so many times before, trying to think ahead and formulate a plan in the aftermath of the counter.

Layla was inwardly relieved when she managed to twist out of the Boston Crab, knowing she'd just escaped a potentially very damaging hold from her opponent, who so far showed no sign of living up to her jobber reputation!

Still, she'd escaped, and it was time to try and turn the tables. She swiftly pushed herself into a backward roll, rolling smoothly to her feet and locking her eyes on her opponent.

She waited for just the opportune moment as Hikaru began to rise to her feet, rushing across the ring and jumping, throwing her body horizontal and trying to slam a dropkick into Hikaru's chest as she stood up, hoping to time it so that her opponent had no chance to react!

Hikaru stood up ready to try to get back in the fight although as soon as she stood up she was hammered in the chest with a dropkick that sent her crashing right back to the mat! "Arrrggghhhhh!" Hikaru groaned as she landed on her back, her arms cradling her chest as she rolled to her side clearly in pain. Layla had clearly taken advantage and halted Hikaru's momentum flat leading to a precarious position for the young woman as she was now laid out on the mat with Layla standing over her!

After successfully landing the dropkick, Layla was starting to feel her confidence return as she got herself back into the match. Hikaru might have started well, but that wouldn't mean much if she couldn't close it out! With the tables turned, Layla took off, bouncing against the far ropes and racing back towards her downed opponent.

As she reached Hikaru, the Canadian brawler let out a whoop as she leaped into a somersault, spinning head-over-heels before coming back down to earth with a punishing leg drop squarely onto Hikaru's exposed chest.

Things were going from bad to worse for Hikaru in quite a hurry! She was about to get up when Layla came crashing right back down painfully on Hikaru leaving her groaning in pain on the mat! She kicked her legs about and brought her hands up to rub her chest where the leg drop connected. Hikaru was in a hole and it was a hole Layla was digging deeper by the second as she began to roll, regaining her lost momentum! Hikaru could feel things slipping away from her and if she wasn't able to right the ship soon things would spiral out of control in a hurry!

Layla was breathing a little easier now after the opening flurry of offence from Hikaru. The sturdy Canadian had withstood the storm and was now slowly exerting more and more control over the match.

Stooping down, she grabbed two handfuls of Hikaru's hair as the other wrestler lay flailing in pain on the canvas, and slowly eased her back to her feet. Once Hikaru was in a standing position once more, Layla took a firm grip on one of her arms.

"Not bad, kid," she told her. "But not quite good enough!" And with that, she pulled with all her might, launching her unfortunate adversary into a vicious Irish whip that would hopefully send her smashing into the far turnbuckle.

Hikaru moaned as she was pulled up, the offense of Layla hammering into her with great effect. She was dead weight as she was flung across the ring, running full speed towards the turnbuckle, managing to turn and crash into it back-first! Hikaru let out a weak moan and slumped into the corner, her legs unable to keep her up although she did manage to drape her arms over the top rope, slung in place as her head bobbed about, the young woman struggling to recover and keep up with Layla, a task that looked harder to pull off with each passing moment.

As she watched Hikaru crash into the turnbuckle and slump with her arms hooked weakly over the ropes, Layla knew the match was hers for the taking. Rolling her neck from side to side, she dashed across the ring, not wanting to give the other wrestler a chance to get her breath back. Hikaru had already proved she was capable if given the opportunity!

When she reached Hikaru she grabbed the dazed wrestler under the arms and hoisted her up into a sitting position on the top turnbuckle. Layla soon followed her up, feet planted on the middle ropes as she braced herself for her next maneuver.

She grasped one arm and draped it over her shoulders, before pull Hikaru into a headlock. Then, taking hold of the other wrestlers yellow swimsuit, Layla let out a yell of effort as she heaved her opponent into the air and fell back, unleashed a brutal suplex all the way from the top turnbuckle!

Hikaru moaned in agony as Layla lift her up and grabbed hold. Before she could do anything to stop it she was flying through the air crashing down thunderously to the mat as Layla destroyed her with a superplex! "AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Hikaru howled after landing, kicking her legs in pain as she was laid out, her chest heaving as she drew deep breaths but otherwise unmoving after Layla outright hammered her, storming her way back into control of the match as Hikaru was now reeling!

Layla felt a rush of adrenaline as she launched Hikaru through the air from the turnbuckle, splattering her opponent's frame against the canvas with punishing force. Scrambling to her feet, she looked down on the girl to see her completely laid out, flat on her back with her only motion being her heaving chest as she fought to breathe. It looked like the fight had been well and truly knocked out of her.

The Canadian had no intention of inflicting more harm on Hikaru than was necessary - the other wrestler certainly hadn't done anything to deserve that. Maybe it would be kinder to see if she could end this now. She darted over and slid down to her knees alongside Hikaru. Laying across the woman's chest, Layla hooked one of her legs up to lock in the pin and shot the referee and urgent look.

"C'mon, buddy, count it!" she told him sharply.
