Drake's arm whiffs, finding no satisfying impact and bleeding momentum. That last part is the real killer when it comes to missing a powerful shot, as that usually leaves a guy open for retaliation from an enterprising opponent. Asuka seems to be just that kind of gal. His only warning is a feminine shout before her kick lands against a toned pectoral muscle.

"Mnf!" Between the impact and misplaced momentum, he's sent into a stagger! The young grappler turns on heel just in time to avoid crashing chest-first into a turnbuckle. Instead, his back lands against the pads, arms resting over the top ropes at either side, and blinking at her.

Drake braced himself for her as she came rushing in, straightening his posture and drawing his arms from the top ropes. He's just about to launch a counter-attack, when she leaps! But she isn't shooting for a body avalanche, or a dropkick, or.. anything, apparently. She lands on the middle ropes and wobbles. Instinctively, his hands raise to her waist to help balance her! And immediately upon doing that, he mentally kicks himself.

Yes, it's the first time he's wrestled a girl. If he's going to ever do it again, he'll have to try to suppress those knee-jerk reactions. Or, or! He can use the opportunity to shove her back down to the mat and pretend it was totally on purpose.

Yeah. We'll go with that.

Only his face is suddenly invaded by her pretty visage, her lips landing on his. Instinct has suddenly kicked in again, refusing to let him shove her off the ropes and away. Instead, he attempts to loop his arms around her waist to draw her slim body against his, nuzzling into the kiss. His brain is screaming that this is a total ploy. His entire rest-of-self is telling it shut up and roll with it.

She begins making odd noises. These aren't normal noises for a girl to make when they're being kissed. At least, no girls that he knows of. Something's off.

'Told you soooo~,' says his brain. 'God damn it, will you shut up?,' says the rest of him.

Alas, common sense is the thing that proves true in the end. The kiss breaks without struggle, and Drake leans his head back to give her a confused look. The punch comes just after, earning a grunt! He releases her waist in hopes of getting himself free and in a more defensive position, but the girl's foot pops into his tight six-pack before he can! His arms loop his midsection, body bent forward in a briefly stunned position, open to her.

Asuka catches him around the head, and given he's more concerned with reclaiming lost breath, he isn't fighting with the lightweight girl. But when she pops into the air, his hands move to her waist to try and retake control over the situation! It comes too little too late, however, and he finds himself toppled directly atop his head. No matter the size of an opponent, a hit like that is going to rattle some things loose, and the impact was a solid one against the canvas.

The young model flips over at the point of impact, and collapses unceremoniously onto his back, body lying sprawled beside her. Sleekly-toned chest and abs rise and fall heavily with each breath, eyes squeezed shut.

Drake wasn't moving in too big a hurry just yet. His head was reeling after the DDT, as most anyone would be. It might have been worse if she were bigger, but all of his own weight was already backing it up. The most movement he makes is to raise his arms to cover the top of his head with a groan.

"Ugh.."

She's a spritely little thing, and it seems she's pulling out all the stops. But that, he could've expected. After all, he did mention he'd seen her matches in the past. His ear distantly tracks the thumps of her feet across the mat, and process what's going on when neither sound nor reverberation can be detected. But he processes just a hair too slowly. The girl's belly lands squarely across Drake's tight abs!

"Oomf!"

His body curls under her briefly before flopping back down again, each heavy breath pushing his stomach hard against hers.
