Molly Forster [D] vs. Mika Yuriko

Going down to the canvas, Molly was still panting hard to try and fill her lungs back up with air. Her head was spinning after she had taken strong blow after strong blow, and now the effects were really beginning to add up. Her body felt heavy and weary, and she was having trouble just getting the strength back into her aching muscles enough to move them.

She would move, of course, but not exactly under her own volition, as Mika propped her up on the top rope. With Molly still in a daze, she barely reacted to her change in altitude, slumping forward at the waist as she stared down at the mat beneath her. But she could, too, feel the give of the rope under her rear end and hear the cheers of the crowd reacting to Mika's taunts. For a moment, Molly sucked in a breath nervously. Whatever was coming next, she thought, couldn't be good.

Whatever she could have expected, though, she wasn't quite prepared to be hit with a hurricanrana off the top rope. It was an impressive display to be sure, and the crowd cheered even louder, even if some had to groan in sympathy for the Englishwoman as she hit the ring with enough force to shake it. All the strength in her seemed to be flung right out of her by the force of impact, as she let out a scream and flattened against the canvas. Whatever Mika had in store next, it looked like Molly was going to have to take it.

And as it turned out the next move Mika planned was rather simply...she would frantically aim to try to splash on top of the downed Molly and then try to move her body into a pinning predicament. After that top rope move Trinity was convinced this had to be the end, no way could this new girl kick out of this as she had a grin ear to ear assured of her victory.

The referee saw the pin attempt and moved down as she began the count.

"ONE!"

Now it was Molly's turn to have Mika get on top of her to start the count, as she was left winded and panting from the punishment she had taken thus far. It was bad enough being stunned earlier, but since then it was just getting worse for her, with her defenses left wide open for Mika to take charge. And now, with the English girl on her back, it looked like Mika was well within reach of victory.

"TWO!"

Something began to stir in Molly, though, as she clenched her teeth and balled her fists. The stakes here were too high for her to slack in them - Chelsea was depending on her, she told herself! Or rather, her own self-confidence was depending on Chelsea, but the other way sounded better. She started to shake the cobwebs out of her head, looking up just as the hand rose a third time.

"THR-"

"NO!" Her instincts kicking in before anything else, Molly shot a leg up, breaking the pin. She had surprised herself with her own willpower, and she sat there watching and panting for a moment. Did she really make a near fall like that? Whatever the case, Molly wasn't here to sit around and ponder it! She went to throw her weight to the side, trying to kick Mika off!

As the referee made the second count, confidence rose in Trinity as she kept the hold and control as she felt an assured victory in her grasp. After all with a high risk move like that how could it not be the end, Molly had talent and heart but she was still just making her singles debut. As the referee prepared to slam for the three count already the decision of what kind of victory pose danced in her head.

THR- n-no! Two only two! Shoulder up!

Before that could manifest, she was suddenly jerked off Molly's body as somehow managed to find the strength to just kick out as Mika tumbled over. Much like the crowd, Mika was stunned as she glanced with a dumbfounded expression. If Trinity had been one to speak she'd likely spew a curse and whine about how it was impossible and the referee must of messed out the count. Had being the key word.

"A-amazing..." Mika said, as her normal persona shifted over from the kickout and she spoke from the bottom of her shock; both in disblief and in a touch of respect. But, Mika had to focus on the match as this wasn't over yet so she had to go to something big to try and finish this as she rolled up and moved to the corner. Mika's plan was to wait for Molly to get to her feet as if she did so she would try to go for a running Octopus Stretch...otherwise known as one of her finishers the Stardom Stretch as she figured that would be the key to getting a victory here.

Molly was still coming down from the excitement of getting out of a narrow predicament, her heart still pounding in her chest even now. She couldn't believe she had done this - but she wasn't complaining either. Luck had been on her side, and now she owed whatever good fortune had allowed her to do this to use her next chance wisely. The Englishwoman rolled herself back up to a seated position, grinning even wider when she saw the praise Mika had for her daring escape.

"Thank you!" she said. Her energy and strength beginning to return to her, Molly started to straighten herself, getting up and dusting herself off. Mika, however, was still committed to winning this, and she was coming at her once again with even stronger efforts! Before Molly could prepare herself, Mika had sprung onto her back, and was now locking herself on with an octopus hold!

Molly might have only been a single pound lighter than Mika, but having another person on top of her back wasn't a position the girl liked being in, and that was doubly so when Mika had the momentum of her charge behind her. She coughed against the added weight, starting to bend over forward, and took a few staggering steps. However, Molly was still good enough to stand, and she wouldn't let this hold her back! She steeled herself, digging her heels against the canvas to try and hold herself up, before she would kick off the ground to try and slam herself into the mat, with Mika going for the ride!

Mika grinned as she seemed successful with locking in the running submission at first, as she was able to make Molly's body bend as she hugged it and worked to stretch her out as Molly staggered about and the referee was key to look for signs of submission.

But, it seemed Molly still had fight in her, and before Mika had a chance to react Molly would drop her body back to the canvas which unfortunately meant that Mika would be going down first as she was behind and on Molly as her eyes widened but there was nothing she could do to stop it as she felt her body slam with Molly's into the canvas.

"Gah!" Mika cried out, as air rushed out of her lungs with violent force and her body became limp as she panted from the counter as she was forced to break her submission.

Molly hurt, all right. There was a lot of pressure bearing down on her back and shoulders, and she couldn't take a step forward reliably. Even now, she could feel the ache in her back. But Mika wasn't that much heavier than she was - and Molly was still able to swing the leverage to her favor instead, taking Mika down into the canvas with enough force to release her!

Once again, Molly had gotten herself out of a close brush with defeat. Luck had really been on her side during this match, and she was just hoping it wouldn't run out for her any time soon. Her breaths came in hard as she tried to keep the air in her lungs. For now, Molly would push herself back to her feet as she lunged off of Mika, running towards the ropes to try and use their momentum for her next move!

Mika groaned a bit, as she was oblivious to Molly's intent and rather sluggish on her own effort as this contest had been quite draining to say the very least. Still, she made it up just as Molly began to run the ropes and as Mika caught a side glance she saw her opponent bounce off them going for some sort of running.

Mika had limited options and less time to work with on-top of fatigue, so she did what was instinctive to her....she charged suddenly at Molly and twisted her body in a jump as she aimed to deliver a spinning heel kick to try and catch Molly before she could catch her to take her down.

Whether she would admit it or not, Molly was starting to run out of steam. Sweat dripped down her body from the exhilaration of the match, and strands of hair were sticking out of her ponytail at odd angles. Her body was bruised from the hits she'd taken, and her face was reddened with exertion, her chest and shoulders rising with labored breaths. But as far as she was concerned, as long as she was still breathing, she had a chance of winning this.

That was what fueled her, as she threw herself against the ropes to try and slingshot herself towards Mika. When she got close, she was planning to jump off her feet and take her down with a hurricanrana on her way...but Mika already had plans for her. Just before Molly was close enough to leave her feet, Mika instead jumped up and kicked her straight into the chest! The Englishwoman yelped in surprise, getting thrown off her feet as she landed on her side with a thud. There she moved to clutch her arm, her teeth clenched from the impact.

With Molly down and stunned for now, Mika knew it was now or never. She didn't have much left in the tank and if she had any chance to win this before she were to hypothetically gas out she needed to do it now, as she worked her way back up to her feet.

Given Molly's position, there was one move Mika was sure would keep her down.

As such with what quickness she had left or could force out she moved to the closest corner and began to scale it as the crowd moved to its feet sensing a high flying move in the works. Mika took one moment to make sure she was steady before she stood up at the top rope of the top turnbuckle and glanced Molly's way and with one graceful leap she aimed to perform a backflip and try to slam onto Molly with her finisher; the Shooting Star Press that was better named the Blockbuster Impact.

Either this move would hit, and perhaps seal a victory in flash photography fashion or if Molly somehow was able to counter or miss would drain the last fight out of Mika leaving her prone for a likely defeat. One way or another this move would likely decide it all as Mika aimed to slam on Molly with everything she had left.
