Molly Forster [D] vs. Mika Yuriko

Molly was starting to feel encouraged as she heard Mika cry out for the ref to declare a rope break, only for it to be denied. She was clearly doing something right, and if Mika was this affected by it, it spoke well to Molly's future in wrestling. Chelsea would be so proud, she thought! She couldn't wait to hear what her sister would have to say about this after the match.

But Mika kept fighting her hold - and while Molly was trying her best to hang on, it couldn't last forever when she was fighting to hang onto an appendage that just wouldn't stop thrashing about. Her fingers began to slip, going back more and more, until at last she was forced to let go of Mika's leg altogether and step back.

Still, Molly wasn't about to call it quits even now. She had seen victory come near her grasp, and she didn't want to let that go! "Okay, so that might not have worked...well, how about this?" She ran towards the ropes, jumping over Mika in the process as she hoped to hop up onto the middle one and turn to face her opponent before springing herself towards her with her knees aimed for her shoulders, going to land on her with a meteora!

Mika groaned as she clutched her ankle in pain, that would be sore without question but she tried to shake off the pain and try to get to her feet before Molly could try another attack. However, Molly seemed eager to jump on her advantage and literally jumped over the Trinity persona as she bounced off the ropes and went for of all things a meteora as she just made it to her feet!

Oh no!

Trinity cursed internally as her body began to roll in a futile attempt to try and get move only for the body of Molly to slam onto her knees onto her chest as a groan escaped her lips as the shot of the blow shot through her body and she was driven back first on the canvas with a groan as her limbs laid splayed by the ropes of the corner Molly shot from.

With a combination of confidence and the kind of bravado that can only come from not knowing any better, Molly catapulted herself off the ropes, her knees slamming into the girl. This might have just looked like a regular high-flying move to some, but for Molly it was something much more. After all, that was one of her sister's finishers! Even back when she was just visiting her matches to watch her, Molly knew it well as a move Chelsea could reliably get work done with. And now, it was her turn. She could already feel her heart pounding in her chest with the thrill of following so closely in her sister's footsteps. And if Chelsea's career in using that as a finishing move was any indication, Mika wasn't likely to be getting back up from that one!

Coming down on top of Mika, Molly felt triumphant. The crowd cheering such a display of athletic prowess certainly didn't cast any shade on her mood. With a big, wide grin, she flashed a peace sign out to the stands, beaming with pride. Already she could feel the anxious excitement building in her, a tingly feeling in the pit of her stomach. She was going to win this! Her first match on her own, and she had floored Mika with that one! Sure, no one was counting yet, but a move like that would have to be a guaranteed finisher, she was sure. She was looking forward already to coming back to Chelsea with the big news!

But first, of course, she would need to get the formalities over with. She rolled back onto Mika, going to put her hands down on her shoulders to go for another pin. "One!"

Mika groaned from the blow, which had been the only response to her first count. The time that Molly had spent self congratulating herself or whatever she did between the pin had caused the otherwise limp Mika to stir. Her head rocked a bit as she tried to fully process what was happening and work to regain some strength.

"Two!"

But as the referee slammed the hand on the canvas for the second count, Mika didn't have much time to get that strength as she was one moment away from being pinned and defeated. Mika could not let that happen! But she was unsure if she had the power to force her shoulders up for a kick out even as she tried to focus getting energy through her body.

However, while Mika was no veteran, she had seen enough wrestling to know one thing and one thing only. Ring presence. Something even the Trinity persona that controlled her now could understand as she noted her right foot was quite close to the corner ropes. Just before the referee's hand slammed for three, Mika would lift and move that foot to just land on the bottom rope.

"Thr...n-no no! Foot on the rope, foot on the rope break the pin!" The referee called, as the foot on the rope was noticed and per the rules began to explain to Molly that she needed to break the pin because of the rope break while Trinity tried to suck in air through Molly's body having just escaped by the skin of her teeth.

Up until this point Molly had been fully confident in herself that victory was assured. She had accounted for all possible outcomes - at least, or so she thought. Because when Mika then kicked out and managed to hook her foot over the ropes, it went completely unnoticed by the Englishwoman. At the time, she was hearing a few cheers, and looking up to the crowd to shoot a grin in their direction. Molly didn't realize that the cheers were actually for her opponent's sudden escape - until she heard what the ref called.

"What..!?" Hearing the ref order her to break the pin, the color drained from Molly's face in almost an instant. That was impossible! She used the move her sister had always done to take out her opponents; it should have worked! It always did in the past! But she didn't account for Mika finding her way out of the pin. It seemed this girl was more clever than Molly had anticipated - and considering that, she wasn't sure how she was going to deal with her tricks in the future. Was there anything Molly could do that Mika wouldn't be able to outmaneuver?

She gulped, but at last she conceded to the ref's demands, springing off of her opponent. "Y-Yes, ma'am! Right!" Molly then picked herself back up to her feet, letting out a breath as she looked back at Mika. She had to keep fighting! She steeled herself, reminding herself that she couldn't let a slip-up like this hold her back. Not giving any time to see if Mika was back up or not, she bent down to grab for her arm and pull her to her feet, upon which she would run her across the ring with an Irish whip!

While Mika had managed to escape defeat, the groan that escaped her lips as she laid on the mat showed it had been far from an easy one as indeed she had been pushed hard by Molly.

Trinity had been frustrated, and the heel persona showed this with a minor growl but she offered no resistance as Molly picked her up and before she knew it Mika had been launched to the ropes as she simply was carried on by the momentum. Mika would bounce off the ropes and be driven towards Molly vulnerable to whatever her opponent had planned for her.

Now Mika had gone whipped across the ring, and Molly had her opportunity wide open for her. A grin flashed across her face, and all the anxieties she had had in that one moment seemed to melt away. Now, she was sure she had her opponent right where she wanted her. Maybe her last attempt at a finisher had been a bit premature - but, Molly told herself, she had been using her sister's finisher then, not her own! If she went with a move she was more practiced with, and had used in a few odd tag matches with Chelsea on the indies, then she would surely have more success. It was time to end this, and Molly knew how.

"You're gonna love this one!" Molly called out, getting back into the theatrics as she threw herself into the ropes to likewise build momentum behind her stride as Mika bounced towards her. Molly rushed at Mika, only to pass her by - where she then hit the ropes behind her, and used them to hurl herself back towards her opponent, running at full speed! Just the opportunity to do this was exciting for Molly, and Mika had inspired her to take the theatrics to a whole new level.

"This is what I like to call myyyyy..." She bounced herself off the ropes, coming back at Mika, and when she came close enough, she hopped off the ground to jump onto Mika's back, throwing her weight against her. "...MAD MARCH HARE!" Without skipping a beat, Molly locked her arm around Mika's, cranking down on it to bend her over horizontally with a cobra twist!

Trinity had Mika shut her eyes, unable to do much else with how weak she was in the present moment and the momentum already built up from Molly's toss as she just prepared for the worst...which did not come immediately as Molly actually raced past her.

This naturally puzzled the lightweight, who tried to slow her mad dash as best as she could though she would not have to wait long for some clarification. As Molly charged her from behind and soon rucked one of her arms and bend her body as it it were a pretzel and soon enough she was locked in a dreaded Cobra Twist!

"GAH! L-let go right now! Let go or you will be sorry! OWWWWW!" Mika called out, though whatever threats the Trinity persona had in mind were cut off by cries of pain as her body felt the pressure as it was bent and twisted in so many unnatural ways as she tried to seemingly futility struggle from within the hold.

"Do you want to give up!? Want to call it!?" The referee called, as she was right by Mika watching to see a tap of any kind along with any verbal cues for submission. But in spite of the pain, Mika nodded a firm no as her minds raced to try and think of a solution to this mess. Any way to escape what seemed like certain defeat...

Yes! This was really happening! Molly almost couldn't believe it herself, but it seemed as though she was about to win her first match! And this time, she was actually sure of it! Her heart was pounding faster by the minute, and she shivered where she was, though she had to be careful not to let that distract her from the hold she had on her, which was her ticket to victory!

Even as Mika called out in defiance, Molly stood her ground, only wrenching harder to bend her body from side to side. "I think not! This is a match, remember?" she teased, hitting once again on a familiar refrain from earlier in their bout. She looked over to see the ref watch Mika for any signs of submission, and that only made the grin on her face grow wider and wider. Clearly she knew what she was doing. It'd only be a matter of time now!

"AGHHH! I-I don't need a reminder! GAH!" Mika cried out as the Trinity persona attempted a sarcastic comeback but was cut off by the pain as Molly wrenched harder and bent her body all the more. For once Trinity cursed her body's natural flexibility as it only added to the agony of all this but defiance remained even if the writing seemed on the wall.

They needed to get out of this hold, and get out soon or it was game over. But thankfully, her few matches more than Molly and her own childhood experience watching wrestling on TV may be her salvation. As she was familiar with the Cobra Twist and began the subtle motions for her count...as she would look to move her inside foot between Molly's and get it behind her right leg; a method to subtly shift Molly's weight and lessen the pressure to prepare a coming trip though as she did this she extended her hand out "hopelessly" as if she considered tapping to try and throw the debuting girl off so she wouldn't catch this.
