Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Thunder Ryuko
Thoughtfully, Ryuko wandered over to give Asuka a hand, pulling her up onto her feet despite how dizzy she was. Unfortunately, the thoughts she was full of were not pleasant ones for the blonde challenger, and said hand grabbed Asuka by the hair to drag her up. In a quick, last attempt to defend herself before Ryuko was able to do any more damage, Asuka tried to swing her right arm up to thump Ryuko in the cheek!
Whether or not it was effective didn't seem to matter, as Ryuko quickly hooked under Asuka's other arm in such a way that it forced her to bend over, and then hooked the other. "No you- Mmfh! Get- Off!" Her butt wiggled and legs shook as she tried to squirm free, but it was pretty hopeless as the muscular Empress easily heaved her up, and then brought her down hard on her shoulders!
It looked like Asuka was dead, going totally limp as her legs flopped down over herself and she was rolled up by gravity while she desperately panted for air, Ryuko holding onto her arms.

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Thunder Ryuko
Asuka managed to club Ryuko hard but the thunder empress kept hold, her stubborn toughness seeing things through as she sent Asuka crashing hard to the mat! Ryuko confidently covered Asuka, laying across her chest without hooking a leg. Instead she brought a hand up to run it through her hair and pose over Asuka while she went for what she believed to be the winning pin!
"Count it ref, she is done! She can't stand up to me in the ring!" Ryuko shouted while she posed, the referee sliding in to place in a hurry!
"ONE!" The pin count had begun with a grinning, posing Ryuko appearing to be highly confident that the lightweight had taken more punishment than she could handle.

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Thunder Ryuko
By this point Asuka was so battered that the match would typically be over. She could hardly move through the burning ache that now made up her entire body, and she was panting so hard that she felt light-headed. Ryuko might well be a more difficult opponent for the young blonde than she had found some heavyweights to even be, given that Ryuko was almost able to keep up with her speed in addition to being dishearteningly powerful.
But the Empress decided to taunt and gloat over Asuka's shattered little figure as she went for a lazy pin. Asuka suddenly found herself hit with a burst of adrenaline in response. The first count came without much of a problem, though not long after, and before the second count, Asuka began to twist and shove and squirm, with frustrated squeaks and grunts coming up to Ryuko.
The second count came, again without Ryuko's pin even coming close to breaking, and the referee's hand went up for the last time-
But Asuka's legs went up with it, and in a violent motion she swung them downwards and thrust her torso up, the combined momentum being just barely enough to push Ryuko back and get her shoulders up, the referee's hand touching the canvas barely a half second later, though she still called a 'Two' as Asuka had escaped before the last count!
Immediately, Asuka's first move would be to get away from Ryuko, not at all wanting to grapple with her right away in such a weak state. Her legs shook and arms trembled, but she'd roll over onto her belly and push herself up and towards the ropes. If Ryuko didn't intervene, she'd bounce herself into them, and then turn to look for her opponent.

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Thunder Ryuko
Ryuko felt Asuka managed to kick out of the pin! Ryuko shook her head and slapped the mat in frustration as she got back to her feet. Ryuko watched Asuka rise as well trying to think of what she could do to keep the pesky woman down! "You should have just stayed down to save yourself a lot of trouble!" Ryuko said as she tried to rush right at Asuka extending her arm to smash the lightweight with a big running clothesline! Ryuko wanted to end her here and now, not wanting her to somehow stay in the match after weathering Ryuko's offense. The fans would love to see that and the last thing Ryuko wanted was for Asuka to build momentum that Ryuko may not be able to steal back!

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Thunder Ryuko
Already winded and struggling, it understandably came as quite a terrifying sight for Asuka to turn around and see Ryuko's enormous tree-trunk of an arm coming right at her, level with her head! Her eyes bulged wide, and her teeth clenched in terror. Her first instinct was to grab hold of the ropes and freeze in terror, but she fought as hard as she could to move herself. If the Empress' clothesline had landed, Asuka's head would've been ringing like a bell, and the match would have been over.
If.
Instead, the nimble underdog ducked her head and pushed forwards to deftly swing under Ryuko's arm. Quickly acting on her sudden advantage, Asuka swung her boot up and kicked the bulky middleweight into the ropes, catching her on the rebound with both hands under her opponent's chin. She'd quickly jump up, pressing her knees into Ryuko's spine, and then drag the larger woman down with her, delivering a harsh backbreaker-esque maneuver!

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Thunder Ryuko
Reek's clothesline missed, and she felt as stinging kick connect that made her stumble into the ropes! Annoyed she bounced back but Asuka had plans in mind for her! Ryuko fell backward and a sharp pain shot up and down her spine as Asuka connected with a painful backstabber of sorts! "AAAHHHHHHHH!" Ryuko howled in agony as she flopped to the mat, laid out and kicking in frustration as Asuka had just completely stopped her momentum in its tracks! Ryuko wanted to get up but right now her whole back seemed to explode with pain leaving her laying on the mat at Asuka's feet! She was growing more and more frustrated with each moment as Asuka refused to stay down. She kept fighting back and each time she did Ryuko was put through the ringer as Asuka's spurts of offense seemed to quickly mount the punishment that the thunder empress faced!

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Thunder Ryuko
With Ryuko flat on her belly, Asuka could almost feel her coach screaming for her to attack. There was no better time, and every second wasted would only put the Empress further ahead, as the lightweight simply couldn't hope to match the middleweight's stamina. Still, her body felt all over the place, and she made a clumsy effort to roll onto her hands and knees, and stand upright.
Soaked in sweat, and seemingly every inch of her body either aching or burning from the effort needed to keep up with her large opponent, Asuka had no idea how she was still going, but didn't have time to think much on it. The lightweight brushed her silky blonde hair back with one hand, wiping sweat from her brow at the same time, and threw herself at the nearest ropes.
There was no doubt at all that Ryuko would breeze through any resistance Asuka could throw up at this point, so her plan was just to keep Ryuko on the defensive, and not give her the chance to crush Asuka as she had so many other girls. On the rebound from the ropes, Asuka leapt upwards, and dropped her entire weight feet-first onto Ryuko's already injured back. Not a very flashy move, but one she hoped would be effective.
From there, she'd catch the ropes in front of her, and take a few deep quick breaths, before turning again to face Ryuko. The lightweight would wait until the Empress was almost standing upright, and then go for a high, sharp kick to her head, though this came slow and clumsy, as her leg seemed to scream at her for making it do something like this when she was so exhausted.

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Thunder Ryuko
Ryuko cried out writhing again after Asuka jumped up and landed on her back! Ryuko's entire torso seemed to be throbbing at this point especially her back. Ryuko was clearly hurting as she hobbled to her feet, hearing Asuka coming. She looked up and saw Asuka flying her way leading with her foot knowing that a kick was coming, and quickly! Ryuko moved to the side reaching out to grab hold of Asuka's foot as she tried to kick Ryuko's head from her shoulders! Ryuko spun and threw Asuka to the mat as hard as she could, collapsing to her hands and knees after delivering something of a dragon screw counter to the speedy smaller woman!

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Thunder Ryuko
It maybe wasn't the worst thing that could happen, but it certainly wasn't far off. Asuka's leg snapped upwards, but Ryuko's hand was almost waiting for her, and locked around the lightweight's ankle with a steel grip that Asuka simply couldn't break. A heartbeat later, Asuka was thrown over onto her back by the Empress, landing with a *thump*.
Luckily, sort of; Ryuko wasn't able to immediately press her advantage, which left Asuka enough time to squirm over onto her belly and fight her way up to a standing position. Loudly gasping for air, she ran at the kneeling Ryuko with a cry of "KYAAAAAAH!", hoping to slam her (well-padded) knee across the buff woman's head, and then stumbled back into the nearest corner to try and catch her breath.

Re: Asuka Hisashi vs. Thunder Ryuko
Ryuko knew her counter wasn't the most devastating but it did save her from being on the wrong end of some nasty offense focused on her skull. A worthwhile tradeoff as far as Ryuko was concerned. She was back to her feet when Asuka retreated to a corner and Ryuko tried to rush in and pounce, moving as quickly as she could and lunging with her knee! This time it was Ryuko trying to land a hard running strike to her opponents skull in order to really hammer the fight out of Asuka! Ryuko came in thinking this would be a walk in the park but after nearly losing or being in such a horrible way that her victory was in serious doubt the desperation of the thunder empress was starting to show! She was going bigger with her strikes now knowing that she had to put Asuka away and not let her get her momentum going again.
