A Lightweight Encounter (For Noob)

For someone like Yuki, who wanted to stay focused and in control of her surroundings whenever she could...Julia wasn't helping matters in the slightest. Hearing her prattle on made her wince just from the sound of her voice, as a groan escaped her. She could hardly concentrate through the sound of her voice, nor could she help herself from facepalming then and there. "Do you...ever stop-"

But that facepalming would be Yuki's downfall, as she realized just moments later, when she felt the gymnast's fingers wrap around her wrist. With the hand pulled down from her face, Yuki's eyes went wide with surprise, an expression that quickly gave way to a cry and a pained grimace as her arm was bent behind her back. The raven-haired rookie bent over forward at the waist, feeling the weight of Julia pressing down against her back as her own arm was locked into place behind her. She knew that she was dealing with a style she didn't handle well, and that if Julia had her way, things could end badly for her. She'd do her best to fight against the pressure, trying to twist in place to loosen her predicament, or to get an elbow or a kick behind her, but there wasn't much that would serve her in such close quarters.

Having caught Yuki, Julia had her right where she wanted her. Or at least she had her somewhere that kept her from hitting. The woman's comment would seem to get to the bluenette though who let out an audible sigh. "Do I...Oh...um sorry. Didn't mean to keep going on and on and on. I'll stop. I promise." The gymnast rambled despite her promise to stop. For a moment however she looked more like a sad puppy than a wrestler. The remedy to that though was a sharp twist to Yuki's wrist which would make Julia feel at least a little better.

"Ok. Back to work. Gotta floor the dummy!" Julia said, apparently now ignoring the promise she made just seconds earlier. At least this time though it was more of a mumble than anything. Hoping to follow up, Julia attempted to twist and turn until she was able to push Yuki face first to the ground. If she managed to get there, then she'd really have Yuki where she wanted her. Of course everything was easier said than done and Yuki's struggles were becoming increasingly hard to deal with as well as inching her dangerously close to the ropes.

With Julia dropping her steady stream of impromptu commentary, Yuki paused for a moment. Even if she finally was allotted time to think, she couldn't help but feel bad about it. She did still respect Julia as a training partner, and someone she recognized the skill of. She didn't want to come across as rude.

She didn't have much time to think about this, however - as before she knew it, Julia gave a crank to her wrist. Her attitude might have changed, but by no means was she out of the game. Yuki hissed through her teeth at the pain going through her arm, doing her best to resist it. She tried to fight Julia off, dragging herself towards the ropes all the while, but neither effort would do her much good; from the awkward position the two had found themselves in, Yuki didn't have much room to fight. It was starting to dawn on her, though, that she was being bent over forward, the weight and pressure that Julia exerted starting to bring her down. Soon, she was on her knees, and practically twisted horizontal at the waist. It wouldn't be long, then, before she ended up on her stomach, with Julia atop her.

Maneuvering behind Yuki, Julia caught her wrist and soon began twisting it in what she assumed was a quite uncomfortable direction. She was a bit less concerned with that after Yuki's previous comment. She did have to admit though that she was often fairly rambly, the bluenette just didn't realize that it ever got on anyone's nerves. Apparently Yuki wasn't a fan though.

Getting Yuki down on her knees was the first step. Now she just had to get the woman onto her stomach. "C'mon. Go down." The gymnast mumbled, tying to exert a bit more pressure against Yuki in hopes of pushing her down. Once she had Yuki down, her plan was to sit herself right between the woman's shoulders. Had she been a heavier wrestler, she might have assumed that would be enough. But her light frame would mostly just be an inconvenience if she didn't augment it with something else. If she was able to take a seat atop Yuki, she'd let go of the woman's wrist and instead shift her focus on the legs. Reaching down to grab a leg she would try to pull back and trap Yuki in a single legged boston crab.

Yuki had done her best to fight against Julia's attempts to weigh her down, but the blue-haired girl was more adept when it came to situations like these, and it was hard to keep up with her. Especially when one found themselves in a position where moving in a manner conducive to fighting off the hold was difficult, as Yuki was right now. With further effort, Julia would be able to force her down onto her stomach, causing Yuki to let out a groan as she was brought face-down onto the mat.

And then she felt Julia pull back on her leg, twisting her back in the process. A jolt of pain shot itself through the girl's spine as she hissed under her breath, trying to fight back the urge to cry out louder. She didn't like being in holds like this in general, and Julia was without a doubt the superior when it came to them. But in her efforts to struggle free, Yuki had brought herself closer to the ropes, and that was an asset that would serve her just as well here. Straining against the force Julia exerted on her, she reached out to try and take hold of them in the hopes of breaking this hold.

"Gotcha!" Julia exclaimed as she pressed her opponent down to the mat and began stretching the woman out. She continued slowly pulling back, her previous smiling expression soon returning to her. "Ok...now you're gonna feel a BIT of a stretch. Just tap if it's too much ok?" She said. She hoped it didn't come of as mocking as she really did just want to reassure Yuki that she wasn't about to yank her leg off. Regardless she was still intending to keep on going until she brought Yuki to her limit.

The bluenette was met with quite a struggle from her sparring partner who seemed to not enjoy a good stretch nearly as much as Julia did. "Nnnng! Guuughhh..." The gymnast grunted and groaned as she tried to hold the other woman in place. Despite her best efforts though she saw the ground starting to move under her, indicating that Yuki was making quick progress towards the ropes. "Nuuh! Not yet. Donnnnnn't even try it." Julia exclaimed, trying now to will her opponent away from the ropes. It was only a matter of time before Yuki grabbed the bottom rope and Julia was forced to let go. "Awww bummer. Didn't even get to try the fun stuff. BAD Yuki." The bluenette teased before giving the woman a sharp slap to the rear.

With a giggle, Julia rose to her feet and hopped a few inches back. She would wait for her partner to get back up, all the while bouncing up and down on her toes.

"I...I can handle it-!" Yuki shouted, her teeth clenching as she tried to bear out the pain. In truth, she didn't know for sure that she could. But she was going to try her best to stick it out and fight through Julia's efforts, and she didn't want to concede. If she told herself that she could do it...then, maybe, she could.

She did let out a cry of pain as Julia cranked back harder on her leg, causing a shiver to go down her spine. But Yuki could also see that the ropes were coming closer to her, and that they'd be within her grasp if she just kept it up. If she just pushed herself a little further...then, she thought, she would be able to make it! Even as Julia was goading at her from above, Yuki refused to give in, gritting her teeth and fighting to the finish. She was almost there, she had to make it...

And with that, she did! Yuki's fingers coiled around the bottom rope as she snared a hold of it, and the sensation of its material against her fingers felt sweet. Julia wasn't so thrilled about it, but truth be told, Yuki wasn't sure if she wanted to stick around long enough to see the so-called "fun stuff" anyway if this was of any indication as to what that would entail. Panting under her breath, she started to pull herself back up, taking a slap to her rump in the process that caused her face to flush red as she let out a yelp. Collecting herself, the raven-haired girl started to turn back towards Julia, only to feel the pain in her back and leg return to her. She reached over to try and rub out the ache in her side, looking back at Julia with narrowed eyes. "You're...you're good at that. I'll give that to you."

Despite Yuki's cries that she could handle it, Julia had the impression that she was close to her breaking point. A little further and she might have gotten her to submit. Unfortunately the ropes got in the way of her sparring victory and left the gymnast with a disappointed frown. That was remedied by Yuki's reaction to her quick spank though. While she hadn't intended to really embarrass her sparring partner, seeing the woman's face flush red brought her a certain amount of glee. Pausing for a moment she wondered how Yuki would react to some of her more compromising holds. That would be tested soon enough though if the gymnast had her way.

"Haha I know I'm good at that! That's why I do it." Julia sang as she responded to Yuki's rather serious look with a silly smile. While she wasn't sure what the other woman was thinking, she at least was having a blast. Noticing the other wrestler rubbing her side, Julia tilted her head and voiced her concern. "Oh. I didn't pull too far too fast did I? I kinda forget not everyone's super flexible." She asked. The bluenette would soon back up towards the ropes and lean back against them for a quick rest while she waited for Yuki to prepare herself for their next encounter. "Just tell me when you're ready ok?" Julia finally said, assuming that Yuki wasn't going to call it a day just yet.

As she leaned back on the ropes to collect herself, taking in a few breaths, Yuki took a pause to look back up at Julia. It would appear that she had some concern for how much she could take, and Yuki had to appreciate that. She was glad that she and Julia, as new to one another as they might have been, were still on friendly enough terms to reach such an understanding, and that Julia didn't want to put her in anything uncomfortable. Well...anything too uncomfortable, at least.

But Yuki knew that that wasn't how she could expect her actual opponents to behave. Spar or no spar, Yuki was committed to giving her all, every moment of her life, and with every task at hand. The thought of calling it a day now, in the middle of the action, just felt like quitting. And Yuki refused to quit. Even if things were going badly for her...she would stick it out every step of the way, no matter what it took.

Wiping off her brow as she took in a breath, the girl looked back up at Julia, her face a determined stare. "Don't worry," Yuki said, "I've still got this!" Raising up her hands, Yuki closed in on Julia, raising her hands as she locked eyes with her. She was determined to finish this the proper way, waiting for Julia to make her move.

Thankfully Yuki didn't look any worse for the wear. Or perhaps the bluenette would have preferred her partner more fatigued. Either way their scuffle would continue, now with Yuki making a move and closing in on the gymnast. "Well ok. guess I won't then." Julia replied and flashed her partner a quick smile. She didn't have time for much else before Yuki was back to business. "Still got what? oh!" Julia asked until she was quickly made aware of what the other wrestler was thinking.

Before she knew it, Yuki was closing in. She seemed ready to give Julia a good beat down which of course the bluenette would rather avoid. She raised her hands and moved in to lock up with Yuki in an attempt to hold the other wrestler back. The last thing she needed was to be caught flat footed. She'd push forward, her light frame bumping against Yuki's as she tried to push the woman back. "Nnnnng...to the ropes with ya!" She declared, making her intentions fairly clear. She doubted knowing where she was going would help Yuki too much anyway.
