A date for...two?

*While not having the most outstanding record at the moment, Kieda was still one of the most beloved entities LAW had ever been given the pleasure to host. She had just finished styling her hair in that signature ponytail she always flaunted about, The Fashion Assassin casually scrolled through her phone for any messages she may have inadvertently missed. Surprisingly, she had managed to overlook something lingering in her email- Yes! The rematch against her lover, Mina Piper, had been officially confirmed!* "Hmhm, delightful~" *She chirped to herself, strolling out of the locker rooms and down the hallway.*

*Catching the eye of the throngs of people that filled the hallways, Kieda couldn't help but bask in the illuminating glow of their unadulterated attention, occasionally shooting a wink or returning a grin to those she spotted. However, something in the back of her mind continued to bedevil her- She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but it was almost as if a storm was brewing, and she had no way of bracing herself for it.*

One of those people in the hallway was a wrestler named Karbon Mannering. Being relatively new to L.A.W., Karbon was always looking for a way to get a leg up in the business, even if it meant having some conversations with the veterans of the industry. One of those veterans were making her way out looking as though she just won the lottery. She was brimming ear to ear and Karbon knew he had to get in on this action.

"Looks like someone received some good news today Kieda." Karbon said as he walked out in front of her with his arms crossed. He assumed that she probably didn't know who he was, but he knew exactly who she was and if he could get a match with her, that would raise his credibility ten fold!

"Hmm...yes, and just who..." *Kieda took a moment to scan this intriguing specimen from head to toe, attempting to analyze the piece of meat standing before her.* "Or what might you be?" *She raised a solitary eyebrow at the audacity this unknown had to stand before her in such a manner. Admittedly, she appreciated someone breaking from the norm and catching her attention, but he'll need much more than that to keep her enthralled for long.*

Solitary Eyebrow.

"And if you must know, I just confirmed a fight with someone close to my wrestling proficiency." *Finally addressing his prior statement, Kieda scoffed in a condescending manner while trying to sidestep the immovable bulk in front of her.* "Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got matters to attend to, little boy~" *She chuckled, attempting to pass him up on his left and leave him in the dust.*

Just as Kieda was just about to pass up Karbon, he rose up his left hand and stopped her by placing it right above her chest. "Whoa whoa whoa... Slow your role there." He said as he wasn't going to let her go that easily. "You received a match with someone of your wrestling proficiency? So who is the jobber this time around?" Karbon joked. Kieda certainly had an air of condescension about her, but Karbon isn't going to let that stop him on getting more dirt about the match she just acquired.

"By the way, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Karbon Mannering and I'm about to be the next big thing around here." He boasted before circling back around Kieda to meet up with her face to face. "This match of yours... Who happens to be your opponent?" If her opponent was another note worthy name, then he would definitely have to get in on this action.

"...Pardon Moi?" *Alright, now she was beginning to get just slightly aggravated at the gall this insignificant spec had.* "I'm sorry, but I've carved my name into this business as a living legend with the stunning works of art I've illustrated in between those ropes, and the most impressive thing you've done lately is manage to imitate a splinter by attempting to get under my skin." *She snapped her fingers directly in front of his face, accentuating the burn he just received from a second to a third while simultaneously cocking her head sideways in tandem.*

"But since I pity you so much, I might as well humor this little request of yours." *She began to pontificate, her body language making it abundantly clear that she was already starting to detest this individual.* "Her name is Mina Piper, and could crush someone like yourself without breaking a solitary sweat. Actually, that makes two of us, now that I'm seeing you in the flesh." *She released a solitary* "Hah!" *As a laugh, deeming him unworthy of hearing her charming guffaw a second time.*

Hook, line, and sinker! Now, instead of Kieda looking like she won lottery, Karbon had that same grin on his face. If he could keep getting under her skin like this, he could have a match between two of the most popular wrestlers around here in L.A.W.! "Cute." He said as she snapped her fingers in front of his face, "Mina Piper huh... Mina Piper, Mina Piper... That name just doesn't ring a bell." Karbon lied to see if this will irritate her some more. "Well, whoever she is, if she looks anything like you, I could probably take both of you on at the same time and still win!" The bait has been set and now all that is left is to see if she will bite.

Karbon never liked to use underhanded tactics like this, but if this meant furthering his career, he will use any option available to him. Besides, both of these girls would be great experience for him to feel more at home around this arena. Hopefully he won't be biting off more than he can chew here though...

"Hmm...at least you've got spunk, and that's something I can admire in a hopeless puke like yourself." *The Fashion Assassin rolled her eyes at the brazen bravado she heard emanating from his voice.* "But since you're so confident in your own abilities, how about I include you in our little skirmish, kiddo?" *She responded in a rather coy fashion, chortling to herself at just how absurd that would be.* "I'll give you front row seats and everything, so you can witness my grace and beauty in action."

*Just as she was on the verge of making this aggravating individual's dreams come true, Kieda had an epiphany- what if he genuinely possessed enough wrestling expertise to make her talents shine even brighter? Yes, that could work out quite nicely for all parties involved.* "Actually..." *Kieda's voice trailed off for a moment, peering towards the forgettable figure.* "How about you give me a reason to toss you a spot against myself and my girlfriend?"

"A reason you say? Sure I can give you a reason to include me in the match." Karbon stepped forward and thought for a quick second before responding. "Let's tie a little stipulation for the winner of the match. If I win, you and your little girlfriend of yours will promise to put in a good word for me with the higher ups about how I completely decimated the both of you two. But, if you two win, which would be highly unlikely anyways, you two will get free reign on me after the match." Karbon wondered how she would react if he put his pride on the line, one of the most precious things a wrestler could offer to his or her opponent.

"No if, ands, or buts from me. Whatever you two say, I will do until you two are completely satisfied with the end result. So how about it?" Karbon would then extend out his hand to make the deal final with her.

*Shaking her head while releasing a small cloud of air in tandem, she gently batted his hand away before going into further detail about what she was originally getting at.* "That's just darling and all, but what I actually meant was I want you to try and take me on- Right here, right now. There's no time like the present, and my present from me to you is my presence~" *She ruminated on her words for a moment before continuing.* "However, if you can prove your worth to me, then I shall take you up on your juvenile offer."

*Positioning herself in a bladed stance, Kieda began shuffling her feet from side to side to try and keep a vestige of momentum going- She had no idea what to expect from this rookie, but she wasn't about to get upstaged by someone of his caliber!* "I'm ready when you are, hotshot." *She chirped aloud, attempting to coax him into making the initial move.*

"Oh, a physical test is what she wants huh?" Karbon thought to himself after hearing her offer and seeing her get into her fighting stance. "I see what you are talking about now, but is this the place for this?" He asked, trying to get her guard down. He started to approach her in a non threatening way to keep his charade up until the very last second, "I mean, can't we save all this action for the... HAAA!!!"

Just as it looked like Karbon was about to make peace with Kieda, he took her unsuspecting arm and wrenched it down to the ground. They both fell in unison with Kieda falling on her stomach and Karbon falling on his side and on top of her. Acting quickly, Karbon then put her arm in between his legs and scissored it. Then, he took both hands and locked them together in front of her face and pulled back with all of his might!!! The Crippler Crossface was locked in tight!
