A Lesson in Toughness (for Fairy Dragon)

Rosie stared at Mira as she spoke and waited for her to stop. She mulled the answer around in her mind and considered an answer. Then, the pink-haired girl heaved a sigh. "Okay... okay. I get it." She scratched her head and continued to debate her further response, not seeming to want to divulge too much of her own past, especially to a girl she just met. But Rosie Knuckles had made a silent determination: this chick was hopeless. She felt a little bad.

"So Mira... I used to be similar to you in one way in that I too used to be bullied and looked down on because I am and continue to be cute aye-eff." Rosie then gestured to herself, as if to remind poor Mira that she was, in fact, cute AF. "So when I am speaking to you about this stuff, I am speaking from past experience. Because I used to be seen as a wussy little baby too. And what I did to get past that, because I need to stress that I am past that, is to be a badass bitch who took no shit, and I fought to kind of a cause. I decided--and this is a conversation that if you say a word to any living being that I will come and find you and do many very cruel and nasty things to you." Rosie's gaze grew very dire as she let it sit in with the girl in front of her. "...I decided that I would become the kind of person I am because there are people, a lot like you, who needed to know that they could stand up to anyone and beat the hell out of anyone they wanted, even if people looked down on them for being small or cute or anything else like that. So... maybe what you need to do is forget this 'I just love it' stuff and think about all of the fans you have that really look up to you."

Rosie took a deep breath after that and leaned back in her chair, closing her eyes and trying to steady her nerves for whatever response would come from Miranda now.

Mira was left watching Rosie again, first she expressed what felt like annoyance at her words before getting a pit deep. Mainly that she was feeling like she had a similar position they were in together. Mira didnt doubt some of it, someone like Rosie would have certaintly been a cutie that people thought was someone they could roll over. Though Rosie certaintly scares them off now.

"Well..I guess that makes sense. But I always figured I was someone they could admire now. Of course I did come to you for help, so obviously I know somethings not working...Though I was hoping to be seen as a less aggressive role model. I gotta do something." She said with a sigh before looking back at Rosie, she didnt couldnt tell what she was thinking so she decided to press on. "So..whats the best way to start? in a match? should I do something in the ring first? anything?"

Rosie listened to Mira and seemed grateful the girl didn't comment on Rosie's more revealing moment. Nodding once, Knuckles took in everything she said and then stated, "Babe, how do you expect anyone to admire you if you don't even admire yourself right now?" Waving a hand, Rosie shook her hand and added, "Doesn't matter. You got a hell of a lot of work ahead of you, Mira. You want to be better? You still have to show some aggression. Female empowerment and all that. And fortunately for you, you didn't run into any bitch-made chicks. You ran into a real deal."

The pink-haired brawler flashed a big smile, gesturing to herself, and then she continued. "No, you need some training first. You need to get the basics down, or else no match is going to help you. It's the small stuff. If you don't want me to turn you into a BAMF like myself, that's fine. But I can at the very least I can show you the ropes. If you want to, that is. And you're willing to owe me more drinks in the future." Rosie then picked up her empty glass and then peered through the bottom at Mira before shrugging and setting the glass down. "And you can't whine. One ground rule. That goes through me like you wouldn't believe." It was worth mentioning. She didn't know if Mira could be a whiner, but she might as well give her the heads up about it to avoid anything in the future. Ultimately, she would leave it up to her if she wanted to be taught, but Rosie mostly wanted another training partner and felt this chick could fit the bill pretty well.

So far this idea had gone back and forth, sometimes she felt she was being unfairly judged by her and other times she felt like this chick was hitting the nail on the head with some of these ideas. Either way things were starting pick up as she started to lay on some ground rules that Mira would have to follow on if things were to help her out. And she felt that was pretty fair.

"Alright, alright I can do that. No whining? No problem, I'm looking to improve as a wrestler not be seen as a big baby. So I can abide by that no problem." Mira reassured herself and Rosie when she made it clear she would take anything she had and she felt confident she could follow through on that.
