Cagefighter and the Shadow Lord (For Jalter)

As Clara still trained for lightweight tourney, there were days when Lya couldn't do 1 on 1 training sessions with the Shadow Lord, be it due to a house show or a busy day at her school...

On days like these, Clara took to LAW gyms by herself, doing a lighter version of regiments Lya gave her.

To start of, Clara took to a treadmill, planning to take at least half-an-hour of light jogging before moving on to other exercises...

Alyssa had been so far been finding the competition of LAW to be pretty stiff, it hadn't been as easy as she had first expected it all to be. She had had a few back and forth matches, not a lot of them that ended up as easy as she had first thought this would be. Her loss to the likes of Himiko and GASTER had been the biggest points to prove that.

It had at least gotten her hopes up a bit for this place. Even if it was mostly a place she had chosen simply to earn money....she was starting to see some joy in it.

Walking into the gym with a towel on her shoulder, a water bottle in one hand. She would head over towards the treadmill...not really caring or paying attention who else was there. A few miles of warm up should be good before starting her actual training pass. Stepping up to the treadmill next to a raven haired young woman, Alyssa would set the machine up to mid level to start a light jog.

After a bit of light jogging, Clara noticed a familiar blonde woman walking towards a treadmill. Clara waited for the lightweight girl to come closer to make sure her assumption was correct...

...and, sure enough, her green eyes and a slightly cocky look let her know that this was indeed Alyssa Monroe, a cagefighter turned wrestler she had fought and defeated a few months ago.

Prompted to say hello to her former foe, Clara pressed stop on the treadmill:

"H-huff...hi, Alyssa!", she greeted her, forgetting that the woman hasn't seen her without a mask...

Starting her jog, Alyssa didn't care much for however else was in the gym with her. If she'd had remembered to bring her earphones she'd been drowning out the sounds of the Gym, with a healthy dose of AC/DC. Though for now she was content with simply running and warming up before the workout.

When she heard somone perk up and greet her. The blonde would look over to her left to see the raven haired girl next to her. Deciding to continue jogging. Alyssa would simply greet her with a, " Hey!?" Sounding confused for a moment, " You want an autograph or something?" She asked, a bit confused over who this girl as. Though she felt she had heard that voice before....

Clara was, at first, confused herself at Alyssa not recognizing her. Sure, it's been a while, but she didn't think that the blonde would forget her after the difficult match they've had against each other...

...but this was when she realized the crux of the problem.

"...oh! "cough" Mwahahahahahahaha! Silly cagefighter, I have come from the depth of darkness to meet up with you!", Clara improvised her GASTER character on the spot, hoping it would jog her fellow countrywoman's memory...

Alyssa would tilt her head a bit as the raven haired woman cleared her throat and the put on that voice and mannerism of the masked Shadow Lord! She would raise her right eyebrow a bit and then shake her head. Feeling rather silly she hadn't noticed from the voice alone...but I guess if you always spoke in a bombastic manner when in character it would be odd to hear that person speak in a bit more demure tone.

The blonde would throw a glare at her, not forgetting how she had been defeated by Clara, but she didn't exactly hold a grudge. Those damn wrestling moves had gotten the better of her. " Ugh...well if it isn't the masked lord of whatever it was. Gaster right? " Alyssa let out, feigning ignorance.

It was weird how some people recognized her better with a mask on...but that was something she had to content with for wrestling with the mask for a while now. Still, it was funny to use her Shadow Lord voice with people...as well as seeing Alyssa's walk down the memory lane, the blonde remembering GASTER beating her in their encounter. Clara would nod at Alyssa's confirmation that it was her:

"Mhm! Correct! But without the mask, I am just Clara. Long time no see! How are you doing?", the Brit would ask her rival.

Alyssa would click her tongue a little, deciding to turn her attention to Clara fully. She at least now got a name for her without the mask. Clara. Alyssa would nod her head as she would let out a little sigh. " Eh, stuff's rough. How about you? " Alyssa spoke out as she would turn off the treadmill and face Clara fully.

She couldn't help but feel a bit frustrated with Clara for having managed to defeat her, but the girl seemed friendly enough here....so she'd give a shot at least.

Clara wanted to make more friends than foes in her time as a wrestler, trying to make friends with as many of her rivals as she could...and, despite Alyssa's slight coldness, she felt she could try and become friendly with the blonde cagefighter:

"Not too bad! Getting ready for Lightweight tournament qualifiers.", she chirped positively.

Alyssa would perk up a bit at the mention of the lightweight qualifiers, she had figured that GASTER would be one of those in the event, she herself had been chosen to participate as well. She would release a soft sigh as she would look on at GASTER or rather Clara.

" Oh? Guess I'll get my chance at a rematch pretty soon then." Alyssa spoke out as she would at least try and be friendly enough to continue the conversation, despite her frustration at having lost to this Shadow Lord girl...wait...

" So I got a question..." Alyssa was a prideful person, well somewhat. Though she wasn't above admitting her faults and bettering herself. She didn't really know who to ask, the only one she could think of for that was someone like Yoko, but she didn't seem to be the type. The way that GASTER had been able to keep up with had been through skill and usage of well...proper wrestling stuff.

So maybe...

" Think you could....uuuh..." This was rather awkward to ask of the person who beat you though, but....Alyssa kinda figured, who else to ask than the person who actually beat you? Worst case scenario she'd be rejected and laughed out and she'd sock Clara in the face. No big.

" Show me some moves or something? I'm not really a wrestler as you might have gathered and I...uh...like, shit. You know? " Alyssa let out as she would scratch a bit at the back of her head.
