Katori Kimura was sitting on a bench in the locker room in silence, she was already fully dressed in her outfit and had her head hung down to where her bangs have hidden her eyes from view. Even as her opponent's entrance theme was playing and the back stage persona telling Katori to start getting ready and get to the gorilla position, she was not moving an inch as the implications of what's currently happening tonight are still sinking into the Mighty Successor's heart. As she was going to be wrestling against a former colleague of hers from Wrestle Angels, Megumi Mutoh.
The young woman was looking down at her phone, with an old picture she snapped of Megumi and Chigusa during the second Survivor season
back to back with the latter slightly lifting the former a bit with a smile on her face while Megumi was surprised by the action and saw Katori snap the photo. The memories of her time in Wrestle Angels coming back again in full force, but remembering Megumi and Chigusa exclusively. As she remember having trade wins with Chigusa but having more losses to her than wins, while only barely managing to win at least maybe 3 times to Megumi, and two of them being from tag matches. Sure she lost to them often, but it was still a good experience that Katori treasured and used to learn from to further improve herself and continues to use those past experiences as motivation to this very day. While on the outside she looked like she wasn't looking forward to this match at all, even with some of the staff thinking she might have hated Megumi, but in actuality, she was beyond excited for this night.
So much so, that Katori's heart was beating fast, very fast. It almost felt as if it was going to burst out of her chest. To not only have a reunion with a fellow former Wrestle Angel AND have a match with them again at the same time was the best thing she Katori could ever ask for. At this point, the staff was starting to urge Katori to go in a panicked hurry, thinking she'll miss her entrance time. But at that moment, the blunette shot her head up, looking extremely ecstatic with the widest excited and eager grin she had in a long time that almost make her look like she did as a child. "
Alright!!! Get ready, Megumi-san!! Cause I'm gonna give you the hardest match you ever had!!!!" Katori shouted as she got up and ran over towards the arena entrance, and as soon as
Wild Spice started playing and kicked up, Katori burst through the curtains and stopped on the stage as the crowd cheers loudly for the Mighty Successor once more!
Everyone in the crowd notes just how much more excited Katori has ever been since she returned to wrestling in LAW, some knew it was because she was wrestling with a fellow Wrestle Angel, and were just as excited to see that happen again. Katori waved to the audience from the top of the stage as she looks at the ring to see not only Megumi, but Chigusa as well. This further made her happy, to see two former WAs at the same time, what a day! Katori started to jog down the ramp towards the ring, giving high fives and fist bumps as usual but not as much as she does this time. Making it to the ring, Katori quickly climbed up the apron and vaulted over the top rope to enter the ring.
Katori then continued to wave to the crowd, but couldn't help but glance at Megumi and Chigusa every now and then. Once she was finished waving to the crowd, she took a slow and long deep breath and immediately went over to her opponent's corner with wide open arms and grin as she embraces both Megumi and Chigusa in a hug. "
It's SOOOOO good to see you two again, Megumi-san, Chigusa-san." She'll say as the crowd takes in the moment happily, and after staying in the hug for a while, Katori will let go and take a few steps back from the duo to get a better look at them, not fully noticing that she was actually taller than them now. "
And you're even both wearing your classic outfits no less, they still look great." She'll say happily, obviously Chigusa isn't here to interfere despite being dressed, but it was still good to see her too in outfit. And it'll only make this night certainly one to remember, even though it's not a PPV match.
